The hospital has recently undergone renovations, resulting in a clean and calming environment. However,we wanted to channel a doctor, but his session was full with only 10 patient numbers, when we call to the hospital they said extra numbers can be get at the doctors room. We went there and got the extra number not only us there were more than 5 extra numbers given with the exorbitant price of 4500 Rs 😳 where the normal charge is only 2000 Rs and this amount has to be given to the doctors assistant by cash directly without any bill is being provided, it seems it’s intentional business trick to earn high profit .This raises questions about the hospital's transparency and accountability when it comes to pricing. Hope the hospital management will look in to this matter to prioritize their patients' wellbeing and provide fair and transparent pricing policies.

Exceeded expectations. Good medical services and good room facilities in premium room. Nursing staff and sister were good and friendly except few old and colds. (but need to be vigilant about possible med mixups in any lankan hospital ) Op. Theatre seemed modern with kind staff. Food was fairly good. Room lacks a jug kettle but microwave did the job. Admission need to be improved lot. No chairs to sit and two female staffers there were very cold. Time to get admitted is too long than other hospitals due to covid risk. Vehicles are not allowed to the car porch even for discharged patients. Day care dep. service and facilities were very good and Dr. and staff acted responsibly and friendly. Daily cleaning of room functions very well. Special thanks to Consutant Surgeon Dr. Mahanama Gunasekara and Consultant Anesthetist Dr. Ranmalee Kulasiri for kind and friendly proceedings with my ailment. And thanks to all medical and non medical staff. Recommended.

Located in the Evergreen park road right next to Asiri Surgical hospital. The hospital is nice and clean and the doctors and staff are caring. There wasn't much crowd on the day of my visit so you can get your medical requirements without much hassle. There are Emergency Treatment Facilities, in patient treatment, various investigations and channelling services as well. Previously this hospital was known as Oasis hospital but now it's under a new administration. Recommended if you are in close proximity.

The day surgery unit on the 4th floor doesn't even have seating for the guardians of the patients. (Patients obviously come to a surgery with a guardian, I don't know how this obvious thing can be overlooked) There is no numbering system. We came in second, but are going to the surgery last just because the staff doesn't process the patients in an orderly manner. We went to the counter 3 times to be asked to sit and wait while they were letting other patients go into the surgery. When confronted, none of the staff members bothered to even apologize. Extremely disappointed and will not return to this mismanaged hospital. P.s. same problem at the operation theater on the 7th floor. Not enough seating.

I recently had my first visit to this hospital and I must say, I was genuinely impressed. The level of service provided was top-notch, and the hospital's commitment to hygiene was evident throughout. Overall, a positive experience that left me satisfied with the care I received. 4 stars is because I may have to get other services to figure out the exact service level.

I was in the hospital call Kings hospital . The hotelmis nice and clean and people are very friendly. And the place is not crowded like the hospital xall ninewells. The rooms are big and not noisy. But the cafe is bad on environmental. The place with lots of flys . I even did a recording and photos were taken. The food is good but they really have to take a extra step of the cleanliness..... Having said I'm glad to te you you had a positive experience at Kings Hospital. The clean and spacious rooms, along with friendly staff, create a welcoming atmosphere. Despite some concerns with the cafe's environmental practices, the delicious food adds to the overall positive experience. The serene environment and lack of crowding distinguish it from other hospitals like Ninewells. I would also like to mention the pharmacy is very efficient and they maintained the lines correctly. Help people and clean . The wash rooms are very clean event the fittings are Little old. Apriciated the cleaning team. Hatzoff to the guys.

For PCR tests don’t go here. They are horrible. It has taken more than a day which is worse than a government entities turn around time. So much for convenience and efficiency you pay a higher price but this place not one bit worth it. Call Centre doesn’t answer the calls nor does there is any other way to contact this hospital. If I could give no stars at all for this review I would because this place doesn’t deserve even 1 star for the sake of a review.

Very spacious hospital with a calm ambiance with soothing piped music . No overcrowding. Staff dressed in unique coloured uniforms and very pleasant in providing service. Parking available free for customers. Treatment available in all specialities . Most of the leading consultants can be channelled here. Have a small cafe ib the ground floor.

I am rating this purely based on the most recent visits and experience I have had with the support team and nurses I am not hoping to review it for anything serious 😂 The king's hopsital is actually one of a kind. Feels more like a hotel more than a hospital. Spaced out and really open with receiptons everywhere to support you. The nurses that did my blood test and ultra sound were really good. Though the wait at the ultra sound scan was a little long they still had good service. The blood test actually went without any pain and this is coming from someone that has a fear if needles. The nurse was swift and did a good job. They have a dental section that I visit and the doctor there is too notch, goes by the name of Dr. Madanga Chandrasekhar. On his work I'd give a 5 star rating. They also have a canteen that serves shorteats and snacks and what stands out here is that they have taken the time to give you the calories for each snack that they serve. This was a very elegant touch to a canteen at a hospital and loved it. If you have the time check out the image and the details. Some of it might shock you too. They also have a shop that sells eyeware and sunglasses so you can stop in for that too. Overall two thumbs up and hope to review it properly with the actual hospital care and ward service etc. Keep up the good work.

Our baby girl was born in this hospital and after one and half years we came back to King's Hospital 🏥 . In Colombo there are so many private hospitals out there but King's Hospital is the best hospital in the city and I will say the best hospital in the country. Hospitality is high and very professional staff service and excellent service by the management .💯👍

I am writing this review to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the treatment and care provided to me and my wife. On July 6 this month, my wife had to face a miscarriage and was brought to the hospital in heavy pain. At least there was no one to push the wheelchair. It was very difficult for my wife and she had to get up and down from bed alone and no one was there to help. Not only that, seeing her bleeding, the doctor took her off the bed and told her to go to the washroom alone and clean it. Moreover, she had removed her own fetus and even had to remove the placenta by herself while the nurse and doctor watched. Why do this to patients? We pay money and come to these places and get a good service but they did the worst. Dr. Atula Kaluarachchi did not care about anything. We told from the beginning that my wife had bleeding, but he didn't care at all. They may think these things in general but we lost our child because of it. On the other hand, when something like this happens, isn't it the responsibility of a nurse or a doctor to clean these things? They risked my wife's life. Why are patients treated this way?

One of the few hospitals in Sri lanka offering PCR and antigen testing. Service was great but relatively bit slow. They should have separate counters to in take patients and another counter to provide results. If not service was great and the nursing staff was very polite and courteous.

Great hospital - Very economical and most importantly, very honest. I visited this place in September 2023 For my fathers treatment The treatment is very economical too. Dr. Yoganandamoorthy and Dr. Badurdeen treated my father for them 10/10 *** Overall, I'm very happy with the place.

Doctor dermatologist appointment at 530pm - rushed through heavy traffic to get here on time for 1st appointment and doctor late by 1 hour. Checking app shows she was coming from Thalawatugoda 7 appointments from 5 pm. Why do doctors do this to patients? We have time commitments just like them. Why do they assume we can wait and deserve to be treated as if they are doing us a favor. Hospitals should be more considerate of patients and strict on how doctors manage their time.

1st hand Experience -one day Surgery Unit👍 I had to undergo a surgery on the 3rd floor.. I’m amazed by the lovely turn around of the hospital from the past Oasis hospital to kings. The look and feel and the atmosphere is at another level. All the staff are exceptional here. Very kind understanding and knowledgeable. My heartfelt thanks goes to Rifnas who did a wonderful job in preping, during and after surgery care. Keep up the human touch and soon you will become the best Hospital is the Country. Keep up the good work. Kind regards Aazim

Just wanted to give a shout out to the amazing staff at Kings. Was there recently and from the triage staff to the billing people I had a great experience. The nurses and associated staff were so professional, helpful and attentive and that place was spotless (would put many hospitals in the west to shame). Ive been to a number of hospitals in Sri Lanka and indeed in Colombo but I've found this experience the best. Wouldn't hesitate to come back (if I have too)... Thank again guys for everything

I recently had an exercise ECG at King's Hospital, and I was initially nervous. However, the incredible care from the staff and doctors made it a comforting experience. The stress test was tough, but the friendly staff, in-room TV, and a kind gesture to print a document for my husband made a huge difference. King's Hospital's hospitality is unmatched, treating customers like royalty. The staff's genuine happiness was evident, and as a first-time customer, I felt truly valued. Thank you, King's Hospital, for your exceptional service. It's truly King-rated!

The endoscopy unit at the Kings hospital is above 5 stars. From the time you enter the department you can experience a very professional service till you step out. The suite is immaculately clean and the staff are very friendly, attentive and caring. They leave no stone unturned to make the patient comfortable. Kudos to the Management and the staff, please keep up the good work. Best wishes to the entire team including the surgeons.

A Hospital conveniently located. The first area one walks past to enter the hospital is a car park divided into 6 sections. Staff are on duty to guide you to the area you request, after you have filled in a form and have had your temperature taken and your hands sanitized. What attracts you first as you pass through the automatic doors? Spic and span walls and seating arrangements. Also, the reception desk and staff to guide you to the place to get help to heal your wounds, be they physical or mental. Matron stands out as an available person who is easily contactable and a person who is genuinely interested in seeing you healed and happy again. Consultants for every part of the body and mind can be approached for a consultation. There is quick attention, help and support for you. Wonderful attendants, cleaners, nurses, sisters in charge, doctors, specialists and surgeons run the hospital. Lifts and stairs take you to your destination. Whether you are lying down on a bed in a Room, or ICU, or Emergency, or seated in the Radiology floor, you are made to feel welcome and that you will be healed. Congratulations Kings Hospital.

Doctors and staff are really good... Excellent academic staff work for the betterment of patients...But not happy about the Receptionist at the entrance... Today I visited the hospital and when I was paying for the echannelling she asked for change if having... I checked for that and heard she telling to other receptionist "what they doing without giving change at the first time"... I just check again if I had missed... Really I hadn't change... Really disappointed about that receptionist... First they need to learn how to talk maintaining discipline... Must advise her... This is not to make her uneasy but to train and uplift the service...

Dental : the dental section is extremely disorganized, they ask people to come early and get them waiting for hours. They do not know how to do billing, and was charging double price when we had already paid. The staff does not have the common sense to send a person who has to show a report which takes 5 minutes, before the others and makes them wait till end. For the first time in my life I had to wait for over 3 hours to show a report which takes 5 minutes, even though the doctor was there. If your doctor goes to another hospital, recommend that you go there instead of coming here.

My only disappointment is the poor mechanism of the channeling section in terms if lining up the patients. The staff doesn't know who will be next in line. While I was being the number 3, they suddenly got number 4 patient inside the room while I was just few raws away sitting for my turn. They just asked who is the number 3 only after that. And then again, I was waiting patiently for the next turn but again someone else entered instead of me. And that was justified saying it was number 1. Anyway the staff ruined almost an hour of my valuable time.

The Healing Studio in Kings Hospital is one of the best physiotherapy units I have ever encountered. I had an operation on my shoulder and all the physiotherapy procedures were performed by PT.Prabath. He is very professional and engaging with the patients and he assessed me from the very first day on. I could recover from my injuries and I would be very grateful to have such a competent physiotherapy setup. Highly recommend place for those seeking proper care for their injuries.

Not happy with service and needs significant improvement in managing appointments. The first day I had to stay 2 hours and didn’t even get to see the doctor and today I had to wait for 2.10 minutes after clarifying what time I am required to come. Don’t think I will go again.. Need to revisit basics.

I went for some routine check ups and there was something very different at Kings . Customer care was excellent , I felt like home instead of at hospital . The ambience was marvelous , CS was nothing exceptional but the difference was , it was offered very genuinely and felt it was from the bottom of their hearts so I think that made the difference To be quite honest , felt like I checked into a hotel 😊 On a small note for improvement , I would suggest billing processes to speed up on their transactions . Well done Kings keep up the good service Wishing you the best . Roshane Seneviratne.

Strongly do not recommend Kings for hospitalisation. Hospitalized for a Colonoscopy (a very timed procedure) for an anaphylaxis patient. The ward staff completely forgot to give the patient her medicine (both doses on two occasions in this timed procedure). Patient had a hard time after the first dose of medicine, not a single nurse dropped by to see if she was okay. We had to handle the situation on our own. After the procedure, patient was in pain, requested for her to be carried in a wheel chair, they took over 40 mins to locate a wheel chair and to take the patient to the room in the wheel chair. Happened twice! During admission, we opted for a deluxe room during our stay considering the space. We were charged for a deluxe room but was given a standard room, and the staff were moving the cupboards and sofas into the standard room given to us to make it look a deluxe room (moving about things right infront of us in the room). Fradulous and a Horrible stay!

We were in Room 315, this comments are constructive to improve standers to the next customers . 1. No phone extension number card in the room 2. No food menu in the room 3. Chicken curry with coriander leaves is interesting but not everyone likes coriander strong flavor in their food. Just a small food tip to think about . 4. Staff service was excellent especially the male nurse on Night Shift . It a good choice to employer more male nurses. Never seen in any hospital before . 5. Check out process was excellent , no delays. Some hospitals we wait hours to get the bill done. 6. Consultant was excellent , he answers his phone all the time. He uses the new technology to communicate with his patients ( Dr. Hilary Fernando) This is exceptional compared to other we met before

I'm reviewing the ward 6 of kings hospital. The staff is very kind and supportive. Service is great. They have good transparency for their rates. I must thank all the staff there especially the breastfeeding coordinator Mrs. Chandra. She's doing an amazing work there.for the 1st time moms, her guidance is very valuable. She's like God for 1st time moms. As a retired medical staff member, she gives her fullest effort to teach breastfeeding. She is an asset to the hospital. And I think the great people like her should be highlighted & appreciated most. Rather than other medicinal facilities & staff, Mrs. Chandra is a remarkable character at Kings hospital.. ❤️❤️❤️

My experience at Kings Hospital Colombo was fairly disappointing. While the hospital itself had a decent ambiance and a calm environment, I found that the staff, particularly those at the ground floor and first floor counters, lacked experience and knowledge in basic procedures. During my visit, there was a mix-up regarding the charges. The staff blamed us for not paying for the consultation, stating that we had only paid for the testing. However, it is their responsibility to charge the correct amount accordingly, and we had informed the doctor about the incident as well. This lack of accountability and miscommunication added to our dissatisfaction. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Kings Hospital Colombo. The issues with staff competence and the mishandling of charges left a negative impression, and I believe there are better options available for medical care in Colombo.

Kings hospital is one of the best in Colombo however can you’ll PLEASE change 1 thing. Ask all your staff to wear sneakers instead of heal shoes and sandals. The worst thing for a patient is to keep getting disturbed by the click clack noises the sandals and shoes make all day. This is a very basic thing for a hospital to keep the noise levels as low as possible. Also your food trolleys need some good greasing. The entire floor can hear the trolley approaching.

After the first appointment I had here with my Gynocologist i never wanted to go to a different hospital. I also had the delivery here. The best private hospital I’ve been to in sri lanka. Kind and friendly staff. Clean rooms with clean bathrooms. Great food. Not too expensive when you compare the service with other hospitals. I must say that when my baby was 2 days old she kept crying the whole night. We didn’t know what to do. Pediatrician wasn’t answering. So I called this hospital at about 3 am to ask for help. Without saying ‘bring the baby to the ETU’ they transferred me to the ward 6 the maternity ward to check if they have an advice. And the sister there calmly listened to me and gave me instructions for like 10 min and told me to call her back in the morning to see if I still wanted to see a doctor. I don’t think any other hospital would do that. I highly RECOMMEND this hospital.

It’s not tasty and hot. We were waiting more than 3 hours for our bill. They’re saying this and that. For the room also we just waited like 3 hours. Very poor service and they doesn’t care.

King's Hospital was earlier Oasis hospital, situated within the "hospital zone" in-and-around Nawala and Narahenpita area. Quite different to the Oasis, King's has new equipment, improved care, good staff and renovated premises. It's situated right next to Asiri Surgical Hospital. There's a big parking area in front of the hospital as well. Rooms are spacious and clean, washrooms are clean. Although the discharge process was a bit lengthy, we were nicely cared for. If you are going to get addmitted, you need to come atleast 4 hrs before to get the rt test done. Stay in a long que as there is only one staff member conducting the tests. Then wait out side for another 1.5 to 2 hrs till you get the results.. 😫 after the surgery, was waiting at the theater for more than half an hour untill a nurse from the ward to show up and take us back to the room.

Kings Hospitla is previously known as Oasis Hospital which was upgraded with modern facility by the new management. Well experienced staff provids good quality service to its customers. Channeling and other diagnostic charges are very reasonable. Well organized and very well maintained. Ample parking is avilable for your convenience.

Quite impressed with the turnaround of this hospital. The new management has given a good face lift, and also the service has significantly improved. I was actually surprised to see a crowd here, and keep that in mind when going for consultations.

Really Dissatisfied about your service. We had to wait 3,4 hours to get our one day Bill. Nobody came to check the baby after a surgery in this period. No medicines. We had to ask everything continuesly.

Plus points are less crowded and newly renovated. Hence things look clean. I visited this place as soon after opening and the patient were treated very well. Even served Nescafe in the morning while i was waiting to meet Dr. Priyankara. However I am visiting several days these days and the service is more or less same as another private hospital. I was given wrong dosage and also some important medicines were not included at my discharge and when I called and inquired they said they had a small mistake which is not small to the patient. I showed some of the problems they mentioned in the diagnosis card and then they corrected and printed another card and I had to wait about an hour to collect the diagnosis card even after settling the bills and handed the room. Also i noticed the cost of a colonoscopy here was 37700/= while it about 25K in similar hospitals. So I am not a loyal member of kings anymore. But I also understand these pitfalls can occur in other private hospitals too. I had high hopes that Kings is going to be a better place but not.

Facilities of the hospital is satisfactory but the care of the nursing staff of ward 3 is very disappointing, attitude of the male nurse is not good. Nursing staff have to be more detailed in patient care , no proper patient preparation before surgery such as cleaning and shaving the surgical site, no help for the patient to wear the surgical gown just leaves it on the bed and disappear etc. hope they will rectify these points.

Using hand phones during working hours specially in a Hospital need to consider. Not happy with the information given by the hospital before admit .

(Translated by Google) The hospital is managed by a number of experienced specialists with modern facilities. The most advanced test equipment is located here. The fees are reasonable. It has a variety of food and facilities for patients as well as others. It is different from other private hospitals. Really frustrated about the hospital service. I went to hospital to get a medicle checkup and book deluxe room for stay. 1st day i got my lunch at 1.30p.m and i got my dinner at 9.30p.m after few complaining to the management. As a patient how we bear our hungry at that much and they said they have missed my room. That was the excused i got from them. I have complaint to the hospital MANAGING DIRECTOR through mail and after one week of time still i didn't get an apologised mail even. I don't recomment to go to this place. Poor medicle service. They don't have best doctors to consult.i have stay two days to consult vascular surgeon and they don't have any doctor to recommend me. Worst privet hospital which i ever visit. #Asirihospital#Nawalokahospital#Lankahospital👍

I am going to post about the worst 😡 experience that i went through right now at the “rapid PCR laboratories” by kings hospital at the katunayaka airport. I am flying to Dubai and i gave my sample for the test by 3.47am and see the time now at my screen shot below 6.30am👇 still I didn’t receive my report or the message. Waited more than two hours up to now and they’re nicely enjoying they’re freedom and enjoying the seating.. when i went and asked they said you will get a message when it’s ready but god knows when.. highly disappointed about they’re unprofessional service and never recommend anyone for they’re poor service. It’s really sad situation. It never take this long for the rapid PCR in this earth.. 🤬

Admitted for minor surgery. Medical care, nursing, food, rooms & room services staff all are up to satisfactory level. Needs more staff for addmision counter. Beter to take detailed bill to understand the intensively charged items. Recomended

Kings hospital is one of the best hospitals in Sri Lanka. Previously known as “Oasis” hospital. The turnaround of the hospital with the new management is mind blowing. Very spacious, modern and nicest hospital within the Colombo. It has its luxurious and clean atmosphere while serving customers at a very reliable prices. The staff is well trained, well mannered. The customer service lie on the top. The hospital has almost all the facilities with modern technological equipments and machineries. Almost all the best doctors, consultants in the country are visiting the hospital. The hospital is located on E. W. Muhandiram Mw, Narahenpita. Or it’s right behind the Asiri Surgical Hospital, with a very spacious car park.

Need to address about the service from BILLING Department. Except the billing unit other services are good. However i have noticed there are 5-6 staff working at the department and they take average 40 minutes to issue a final bill, for me they took 50 minutes ,This is not acceptable. Management of Kings Hospital over to you and looking immidiate feed back, other than this all services are good including parking 👍

I recommend that Management should activate the indication of the patients number at the consultation rooms so that patient know what's the number going on. The nurses does not do their job properly. They call patients on their names not on numbers. So others does not know which number is next. Some patients complained about this to the Consultant too. These are very pity things that the Management can do without any difficulty.
