Worst experience ever. they never make it on time. Get the orders mixed up and keep client waiting due to poor coordination. I ordered the cake to be ready by 3 pm for my little ones birthday and until 4.30 they kept looking for the cake. I couldnt reach the person i spoke to as she conveniently cut the line few times after messing up my order. Not even an apology. Im very dissapointed and wont recommend ambrosia as reliable and trusted

I ordered a customized cake via whatsApp on 5th September to be picked up from the Cafe by 3.30 pm on 7th September. I called the Cafe on the 7th morning to check if the cake will be ready by 3.30 and they confirmed that everything will be done on time. I got to the Cafe by 3.45 and was told that they will need a further 10 minutes to get 1 component on the cake ready. Since only 1 component was missing, I asked to see the cake. They had got the wording entirely wrong and had not put 3/4 of the elements. I waited till 4.15 and was then told (that also after I asked them how long it will take!) that they will need at least another half an hour to finish it! Since I had another engagement at 5pm I could not wait that long and asked that the finished cake be delivered to Kohuwala. They initially refused and wanted me to come back and pick it up. I actually had to convince them that the delay was entirely their fault! They finally agreed to deliver but the cake was delivered only at 5.30pm!!! Whilst the final product looked good and the cake itself tasted good, the fact that I did not have the cake on time made this an absolutely horrible experience.

I ordered a chocolate cake it was really delicious and very fresh. Ordered online and it’s very easy. But I’m not happy with the delivery and I reserved the delivery slot between 12 to 3 pm , they delivered it around 5pm.

Nice little pastry shop and cafe in a quiet residential neighborhood. They've got a good selection of cakes by the slice, cupcakes, cookies along with beverages and savories too. There's limited seating, with a small table outdoors as well. You can also park in front of the store - only when it's not busy. You can also place orders for bespoke cakes.

This place is the pits. Called this morning and placed an order for 12 cupcakes. Said I will pick them by 1115. Got to the outlet by 1130-front counter is completely deserted. No staffers in sight. Called the number I placed the order with, I was told to wait and that the order would be brought. Waited for 20 minutes , no staffer was seen and neither did the cupcakes arrive. They ststopped answering my calls as well. Highly discourage anyone from ordering any food from them.

Worst service. Never gonna order anything from this place. Misleads people. They almost ruined our plans of my best friend’s bridal shower. They confirmed the order but didn’t delivered it on time and not answering the phones also. Don’t ever think of ordering cakes from them.

Order a Red Velvet, the design and the taste is completely differnt compared to the first cake order when they resided in Horton Place. Taste of the cake was quite good.

We got down some customized designer furniture items from CASA Ceylon for a number of projects and they turned out great! Friendly staff and timely service!

Absolutely appalled! I ordered a bunch of cupcakes to be sent to my girlfriend on her birthday. Of course Ambrosia took my money, but did not deliver. Despite whatsapp-ing, calling and emailing several times days before expected delivery, I wasn’t able to get through to anyone. First time in my life I’ve come across such a business. If you can’t deliver, close the website and stop accepting payments. Stop wasting peoples’ time and money. Also, horrendous website. Never been able to complete a transaction without running into an issue. Despite this the cupcakes were delicious but no longer worth the effort. I usually don’t leave reviews, but this angered me so much I had to say something.
