You can buy some good, tasty pastries, breads and other bakery products at an attractive, fair price here. This shop is famous for bakery products for decades. The place is bit small and bit noisy. But trust me. The food is great!

This cashier or boss(who ever in cashier seat) don't know how to treat customer, and don't know how to talk with a one either. Also he don't have change(money) in his cashier drawer(most of the times),after i ordered and gave money he told he don't have change and i asked what can i do.he replied go and bring change. if u planning to go bring change with you. or there's another bakery next to this called bread talk try it ,wont regrate.this isnt the first time and i know this wont be the last.

This shop is famous for decades in Ward place area. Food is tasty and can be considered as clean. We can give four to five stars for the food. But service is less than three stars speacially in busy time. Very slow working staff. It will be terrible when you are so hurry to buy something to a patient but time is limited. No card payments, cash only. Very little parking.

One of the oldest bake houses in Colombo. I remember going to bake house way back when there were no bakeries or savory shops around townhall. Bake house has now met with the competition and does not seem like doing so well. Food wise - Nothing especially good and nothing especially bad. Quite mediocre. They have parking for like 3 vehicles.

Food quality is good but customer service is not that good. They serve cold tea with sugar and cream not properly mixed. May be because the tea.machine is not working properly and the guy is inexperienced.

Today I purchased this food item from the bake house outlet near National Eye Hospital, Colombo. This item was named as Chicken hot dog bun as mentioned in their bill which is cost LKR 260.00. There was another food item called Sausage Bun which is cost LKR 120. Hence I was bit hungry decided to purchase the "hot dog bun" However, I was surprised by seen the food I got and I checked with the cashier to make sure whether they have given me the correct food. They said this (food shown in the picture) is a hot dog and I asked what is the difference between sausage bun and hot dog. They replied nothing but a smile. Further I told them this is not worth LKR 260 and inquired to change my food. However since this is a food item, they refused to change it with another item without giving me any other option. This kind of unfairness is not acceptable from any one. No point of having different names if you are not presenting the value of food. Customers have a right to get products which is worth for the rupees they spend. This is completely misleading customers and a fraud.
