A lovely place with many variety of food items and staff provide a good service. It's quite busy during morning 8am to 9am and then again during office lunch hours.

There’s a dog outside eating their leftovers locked most of the day in his cage. I guess whoever feeding the dog can stay in the cage himself and feel what that poor dog going through all the day. Before serving humans try to serve an animal even.

For breakfast we choose to Sen-Saal Restaurant where we opted for string hoppers. Unfortunately, the coconut sambol given to string hoppers were bad and rotten. Unfortunately no one in the staff consider it as a mistake. They just replaced it with another curry. I, who am writing this review, am also a person working in a famous private hospital in colombo. We also make various mistakes, so i know about the faults that we committed and how to react that with the customer. Because of my job i didn't blame them but they never give me any word about that rotten meal plate. I request you to pay more attention to this.we have faced huge inconvenience. Finally i am telling to everyone who read this if you go there for meals do not hope any kind of care from the staff. There customer service is that much bad.

Bad service. we have ordered some beverages through Pickme. Sensal accept the order. And said ready to collect also.but when the rider goes to collect the order they said beverages are not available. They didn't even say that to customers. The rider calls me and told that its not available.

Had the worst experience ever. They delivered spoiled food via Uber Eats. Will never buy nor reccomend to anyone. More importantly food does not have any labels or expiary dates on it.

Visited today morning but extremely disappointed with the service. Staff was friendly but no sauce available when requested and no tissues available either. Surprised to see these basic stuff are not available in a pastry shop. You'll charge a higher price compared to a normal pastry shop so these should be provided to a customer. Also place is under maintained and standard is lower than small food place on the side of the road.

I was really disappointed about the service yesterday. I ordered five fried rice but they served the people who came after us and later said they are out of fried rice. But we paid early before the other people and we were waiting so long. Then I asked where is our food. Then only they remember us. The manager served a rice first and he said it was a mistake and he took it and served to another table. He acted very unprofessional. He miscounted my order and later he asked my bill to confirm. I was with my family and we were hungry. The manager messed up our day.

Worst food i have ever eaten. Went with 3 guests and got set menu fried rice for 4 ppl. It has no flavor at all at least the salt. Ashamed before the guest as I thought the food is as good as their so called sensal name. Complained to the staff and did nothing. Waste of money. I think you should offer free samples before ordering a food.

We bought a cake for my b’day. After cutting it, I was shocked to see so many molds in between the sandwiched part of the cake. Probably, the cake should have been sitting on their shelf for months I guess. I just tasted only one piece as the cake was filled with mold, dry and not tasty at all. It was like stale bread. A reputed restaurant like Sen-Saal should be more careful with what they serve to customers, instead selling rotten cakes. I was totally disappointed with their food and never recommend anyone. Think twice whenever buying cakes from Sen-Saal unless you want to end-up buying an old cake full of mold.

I had a disappointing visit to this restaurant 👎. The first thing I noticed was the lack of cleanliness in the dining area, which immediately set a negative tone. The service was far from satisfactory; we waited for more than 5 minutes without anyone taking our order, and it was clear that the cashier's attention was focused elsewhere, perhaps on a personal conversation . The quality of the food was below par, which was made worse when the gave a chilli paste, that another customer ate 🤢. It felt unhygienic and uncomfortable. Additionally, the prices were quite high for what was being offered. To top it off, there weren't even spoons available to serve the rice. These are basic necessities that any restaurant should provide. In summary, my experience here was less than pleasant due to the unclean environment, poor service, high prices, and low-quality food. Bad foods Do not waste your money... we bought few Nasi packs. Content is totally like tamil foods and not tasty at all. Couldn't eat at least 1/4 from pack and wasted our money. Same feedback from all friends.

Food and service are good, and the portion size is also fine. However, they need to replace or modify some seatings as they are damaged.

When you search for it on Google Maps, the image that appears is really misleading. Perhaps that is how it has always been, but the location is no longer really pleasant. The scenery is, should we say, worn out. The colors in the sittings are faded and quite aged. There aren't many meal options accessible. You have to ask for tissues because they would not provide them. I do not advise going there, especially if you are with a significant other or someone you want to impress. My personal encounter with the location has not been positive.

Ordered a fried rice for take away. The rice was bit sticky. Overcooked. They put the food info a microwave and then only give it. Car parking available on road. No specific parking space. *Cannot* recommend to the fried rice.

I'll start off with the service, it was really bad. I went today for lunch (dine in), apparently around 15 minutes after placing the order I had to pay for the food before even it was served; after paying also, I had to wait approximately ~30 minutes for the food to arrive (all together I had to wait around ~50 minutes). The place was swamped with houseflies, and it the atmosphere was gloomy, very unwelcoming. When it comes to food, starting with the plates, it was not washed properly bits of stains on and under the plate. When I showed it to the server, he got a piece of cloth from somewhere and just wiped it in front of me, it was pretty disgusting. I ordered a Mongolian Mixed dish (medium size) which was sufficient for 2 people; but I should say the food was not up to the standard. The meat in it was bland, no seasoning at all. And halfway into my dish, the server suddenly came and carried the bowl of chilli paste. The overall experience was very unpleasant. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant to dine in for anyone.

I cannot recommend Sen-Saal for anyone seeking an authentic and delicious Nasi Goreng experience. The poor quality of the dish, coupled with the disappointing service, has left me with no desire to return. I hope that the management takes these concerns to heart and works to improve the quality of their food and service in the future.

Got our simple order for short eats wrong and had to correct it after it was given to us. Asked for a tea and got it after so much time when there was absolutely no rush. Very bad service.

It's a well known restaurant chain which has branches within Colombo where bakery products and meals such as rice and curry, fried rice, Nasigorang, Lasagna, etc are served. Has ample seating area, car park is little limited only about two vehicles can be parked in front of the store but has few parking spots on adjoining Hyde park corner road. Clean place staff is friendly as per my experience. Has food for all three meals, but need to hurry in the evenings since dinner items are much less in quantity and solds out quickly. Orders are also undertaken. Delivery available via Uber Eats etc...

Food quality is not recommended. People are not hygiene and serve with dirty hands and that had become the new normal at Sen-Saul. Manger sits in the most provocative way. And the atmosphere is is like it’s a wise den

The cashier was empty, we had to wait till they finish their own business. The girl who carry the glasses for the iced coffee carried 3 glasses with one hand fingers inside the glasses and then it filled with iced coffee, not hygienic | Management should give them a good training before hiring

Every day I’m walking near to the sen saal i’m seeing how this poor baby suffer, these people should understand dogs also have the right to be free like humans, This baby gets drenched in the cold on rainy days and burned by the heat on sunny days and this baby is suffering in a small space, please some animal organization help this baby 🙏

Foods are not tasty and no value for the money spend. Odered a nasi goreng rice. The rice contain no sea food. Just plain fries rise. And the two small piece of chiken. Even those are with bones.

One of the worst place I have visited ever. First, the food taste is not up to the standard. Further, the cleanliness is very poor. The hand washing area is very disgusting. The location is not well maintained. The staff is not also very friendly. The tables and chairs were not cleaned properly. It is not worth for the money I paid. I will never visit this Sensal neither other Sensals.

The worst lunch that I had..As curries it had boiled chicken sprinkled some kind of gravy on top.few bean pieces boiled less salt,boiledin water,dhall same watery taste couldn' eat,a green leaves mallum with little polkudu,and raw polos boiled in water with very less salt.they would found out that tamarind and goraka are,expensive for the amount we pay for there rice packet.This is a sin .even dhall curry with polsambol would have been better if done properly .I got this for a cancer patient.Dont let people curse you all.it affects not only you but the whole family and generation.Display is nice but taste is awful.why cantvan authorise person taste before you sell ??.or the owners must check this I got from Nawala outlet.

Ample space and they make a Great Nasigoreng for Rs. 470 ..Great choice of rice and curry as well.

Nice place, prices of some foods are extremely high. But overall good place to get short eats, cakes and iced coffee etc. Delivery also available. Continuing during the covid period according to guidelines.

Poor Uber eats guy stayed 30 minutes there. My order is delayed by 45 mins. Don’t do this for your customers or the delivery riders. What a waste of time!!! They don’t even answer phone calls..
