Lovely and peaceful place to stay locals. Management of this hotel is very friendly. The rates of the rooms are reasonable because the amenities and the facilities in rooms. There are air-conditioned rooms and non air-conditioned rooms are available here. Very clean and maintenance is good.

‼️‼️Very worst behaviour by the hotel. Booked a stay two weeks in advance but when arrived they said room is not available. After they take us to another near by hotel and Even charged 2000 extra. Strictly not recommended. Book at your own risk

My recent stay at the Victoria Palace Hotel in Wellawatta left much to be desired. I booked a two-day stay as my daughter had an exam in Colombo, but upon arrival, the first impression was disheartening. The room was unclean, with evident signs of neglect. What's worse, none of the air-conditioners were functional, making the room uncomfortably hot and stuffy. Given the poor conditions, I had no choice but to cancel my booking prematurely. However, I was dismayed to discover that I was still charged for one day, despite the unsatisfactory experience. Overall, my experience at the Victoria Palace Hotel was far from satisfactory. I cannot recommend it to anyone until they undertake significant improvements in maintaining cleanliness and ensuring that basic amenities like air-conditioning are in working order.

Budget friendly hotel

Rooms are pretty clean. Staffs are friendly.

they say they have AC rooms, but it is not any AC coming out. even with the fan and AC its still very hot . and when it comes to the bathroom it is not clean, it was full of ants everywhere and when you use the sink the water will just stay there and leak off, i dont recommend this place if you need AC and a nice place.

Nice place but they are cunning. No proper plug points, heater in the bathroom is swiched off and they maintain a cunning way to avoid the usage of customers. You can experience these things by visiting to this hotel. And please confirm manytimes your booking before you enter, because there may be a chances for no vacant rooms after your visit with booking.

My sister and myself book for 7 days but stayed only 2 days Basically it s slum Charge us for Ac room but it is not working , no hot water toilet is disgusting, stains on the bed , they never change the sheet after the previous guests had checked out no room service please consider before travelling . spending money to stay in a disgusting place I won't even consider one star Hospitality is nil They should consider changing the Name instead of Victoria Palace it should be Colombo slum
