The location is awesome. Hwvr, the hotel is slightly pricy. Some rooms are awesome. We stayed in a double room with limitless view of Indian Ocean. It is a scenic beauty. Mornings and evenings are incomparably nostalgic and beautiful.

The hotel is 'ok'. It has 6 floors and has a lift, so is wheelchair accessible. I booked 2 family rooms on the 2nd floor; the ac was turned on for arrival, so the room was nice and chill. The people who work there took our bags to our room, which was quite helpful. Both of my rooms had attached bathrooms; neither of these had toilet tissue, which was a bit inconvenient. The wifi was a bit of a problem; their wifi was apparently 'not working', so they had replacement routers to compensate; they were trash. The socket for the kettle was very bad in one of our rooms. We could not make tea that day. Also, they provide tea bags and sugar so that was quite helpful. All the rooms have telephones which you can call the reception. One of our telephones weren't even working, so we had to call from the other room. We told them our problem, and they fixed it. The t.v. was also faulty and they replaced it. They cleaned both rooms while we were out, which I appreciated. There is alot of train lights and noises, which cut half of my sleep in the night. Also, there was some dragging of a table during the night, which disturbed even more. To finish my review, this hotel needs more facilities and maintainence for its customers to be happy. I payed toooooooo much for my rooms, and most likely won't be staying here again.

I came here as an electrician with my dad. They served us very well. I was very happy with their hospitality. In other places people don't treat well for electricians but this is a place with good attitude. I wish them success in their journey.

Bang opposite the beach and local trains station . V clean rooms , v well maintained and well within our budget. Excellent location for visitors to Colombo.

This is a brand new hotel. They have good rooms with sea view. It has an restaurant on the 4th floor where you can get food. We had our breakfast there in the morning. Service was excellent.

Lovely hotel. Limited breakfast options but attentive staff with great rooms and toilets. Water stays hot during showers and strong AC for the weather in Colombo.

What a dump! When I got to the room there was a huge cockroach and a smaller one. The AC had not been turned on in recent memory and the room was musty smelling. There was moldy water damage on the walls. Only one electrical plug worked. It is right next to a train depot and it runs all night and blares all night. The cars honk and people blare music all night. The windows are terrible and you can hear it all. And the "beach" is across a busy road and train tracks. There was no hot water. I had a cold shower in the morning and when I told the front desk they said they only turn it on when people ask for it. They turned it on and my boyfriend got a hot shower that night. Then they turned it off and I got a cold shower in the morning. We paid for breakfast and they said it started at 7:30. When we got there nobody was around. We waited until 7:45 to get white bread and butter. They then gave us an omelet, pancakes, hot dogs and potatoes; none of which was good. And there were ants crawling all over the table. Overall the place is a dump.

The staff were really really friendly but the hotel it self is not that nice. It is quite clean but it has a lot of small issues (for example breakfast is quite awful) and beware - it’s not a beach hotel.

Their is nothing good about this hotel except view. You need to carry your own toiletry. Cleanliness is an issue of this hotel. Breakfast is strictly ok, nothing was good except fruits and black coffee. But again if you are fan of good view then only check into this hotel or else their are several other options in nearby vicinity. 1 star is purely for view.
