Had an amazing dining experience at this Japanese restaurant. The food was not only delicious but also authentic, capturing the essence of Japanese cuisine perfectly. And we can customize our dishes to suit our preferences. Highly recommended for a satisfying Japanese meal!

A pleasant and tasty experience. This was my first experience having Japanese food from a Japanese food restaurant. The welcome was very warm. The menu is very detailed with pictures and a brief description. When we asked from the staff for help in choosing food as we are first timers they explained very well. The price is a bit high. But was justified with the taste and the portion. We ordered sushi, pork katsu don and a ramen. The Sushi can be ordered with two varieties half and half. The pork katsu don was really good. Recommended if you are trying out.

Avocado Tempura was good too .... bt the Avocado itself wasnt ripe enough.... was bitter. Great Service... and great setting... Highly recommended. Coffee Jelly Dessert was spectacular!

The food has good portion sizes and tastes great. It is however, the welcoming atmosphere that the staff have, right until you leave that makes it a place worth going. They make the entire experience fulfilling. Quite often than not they also throw in soup or a dessert on the house. Been here a few times. Definitely going back. Prices a slightly on the higher side.

Neat little authentic Japanese restaurant located in Independence Arcade Colombo. They have a variety of Japanese dishes to try out, including a range of sushi. Service was absolutely delightful as they made me feel very welcome and gave a top notch customer service throughout the dining experience. Sake Colombo definitely is one of the best sushi spots I have tried in Colombo and would recommend it to any Japanese food lover. 5 out of 5 in all aspects.

Absolutely loved the food and service. Had a great variety in food as well as in the price range. Portion sizes were more than okay so imo it’s safer to get half portion options if it’s available. The beverages were great- we had a passion fruit mojito and a matcha vanilla latte. They had alcoholic beverages as well. Servers were really nice, checked on us frequently but not too frequently. 10/10 would recommend.

I was truly impressed with the exceptional service at Tsukiji uoichi . The staff was attentive, friendly, and made us feel welcome throughout our visit. We truly appreciate his efforts and look forward to our next visit. The food exceeded our expectations - every dish was bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. This authentic Japanese restaurant in s definitely worth a visit. The food was very delicious and the presentation of food was was very nice. And their service was impeccable from start to finish. David and the staff were very attentive and David provided us excellent recommendations on the dishes we should try out. They brought our food within less than 10 minutes and they even gave our baby some toys to play with while we had our dinner. You can even bring alcohol without any corkage fee and they’ll be introducing a happy hour soon. I’d definitely visit this restaurant again to try out more authentic Japanese food.

Very nice ambiance. When I visited this place it was us and one more group of people only. So it was a calm dinner outing. But I assume when it’s crowded the place should be noisy. Talking about the staff, they are so friendly. Served food quite fast and explained the menu really well. The portions are quite big. I would say two girls could share one dish. Their coffee jelly dessert is sooo nice and worth to try. I do not think you can find similar dessert anywhere else.

Very good food. Staff is great but some trainee staff can be a little slow. Prices are slightly high but given the the quality of food it's justifiable. Great sushi and Japanese green tea is also very nice. The menu is well very detailed with pictures so it's easy to order. Even the staff will explain the different options if you are not familiar with Japanese cousin.

Had an absolutely great time here. Food was amazing, but I was more impressed with the service. The waiters and staff were extremely friendly and gave us an authentic experience by using Japanese greetings and gestures. The food was served in a very timely manner, which I really appreciate. The pricing is very reasonable and they have a good variety of Japanese food. The atmosphere was vibrant and the music that played was traditional Japanese music. I love that there is the Sushi bar and regular tables, making it a fit for families, people going on dates or working people who want to have a quick meal.

Their food is great and the restaurant was decorated for Christmas. The food taste great and worth the price. The staff is super nice to the guests! We ordered Sushi, a Pork Katuso don (served with a Miso soup) and a ramen with fried rice. The portion size enough for a hungry person! However, it was bit inconvenient to dine as it was warm inside the restaurant due to a failure in the air condition.

Ordered a Ramen, dumplings and sushi rolls. Waited for far too long for the food arrive at the end left after an hour only having a single portion of sushi. Kinda of felt like the foreigners were prioritised over the locals. Colombo has way better japanese restaurants with better customer experience.

Don't be fooled by the name as there is only one type of Sake. Not authentic Japanese fine dining even though that's how they sell. Not sure if that's because Lankans prefer fusion Japanese. Either way don't sell as authentic if it isn't. They surely price it that way. Very weak wasabi

Food is excellent, although it was expensive. Unfortunately there were no tuna sushi on the Sunday lunch time. Service was excellent and it was less people at Sunday lunch time. Ramen, udon portion are large. Plenty of free parking around the place. Good place to try authentic Japanese dishes.

I can't recommend a better Japanese restaurant in Colombo. Visited for the second time. The food was delicious and was quickly served. Dishes are authentic and the portion size is good enough. The beverages were top notch as well. Every dish was excellent and the restaurant staff were very helpful. Special thanks to Mr. David from the staff for the amazing service which was truly beyond all our expectations.

Good Japanese food in nice ambience in posh arcade. David was excellent in his service including getting us a transport after dinner. Able to pay by Apple ewallet 😊 Will come again👍
