This is one of tasty caterer's New venture sitting opposite the road from their original place. The place could do with some more cooling but got to love the layout. They do have some of their signature dishes form their catering menu served here. The place smells of yummy food just like when the first started operations decades ago. The food .. well you tell me..

Nice little café on a busy street. Decor with a slight vintage touch. Good on the owners to have lots of greenery to compensate for the sun's rays that fall directly on the building. Courteous and smiling staff were recommending their menu items. Told me about their High Tea. Yet to try it. The coffee counter looked good which means we can trust them to serve some good coffee. I ordered tea this time with a sandwich. Tea was the right temperature and came with fresh frothy milk. Hope to try their key lime pie and chairs with some good coffee. They do have an extensive lunch menu. Hope to visit during lunchtime to check it out.

Even though this is a supposed to be a higher end version of Cafe Tasty and Cross Roads, Cafe 97 doesn’t really stand out. The menu items are fancier (and more expensive) compared to it’s sister cafes. The food was decent for the price. Can’t really go wrong with most of the menu items . However, do not order the coke float or any other float type drinks. It’s not really suitable for Sri Lankan taste buds.

We went there for a high tea and it was arranged over the phone with Atheeq. From the very first time of calling them to the point where we actually left the place, Cafe 97 didn’t forget to amaze us with their quality service, calm and clean atmosphere and delicious food and presentation of them. I would highly recommend the place for any occasion that suits you and rest will be well taken care by the team at Cafe 97. Thank you!

Our 1st visit here was Sunday. We enjoyed the food very much. Portion sizes were very good. We went again 2 days later for dinner 😊

Delicious food at a reasonable price. The service was quick and efficient. Great spot to meet up with friends and catch up. Parking available. Minor note would be that the air conditioner was turned on at full blast so it was quite cold inside the outlet.

Cafe 97 is the newest addition of tge Tasty Caterers.. as always they offer the best service with tasty food with high standards. Cafe 97 is bit high end coffee shop with all types of foods. Love the atmosphere, food and the service. Must visit place by all..

Very good place for a hangout with friends / family. Nice, cozy ambience! There is a very good selection on the menu with delicious food! Bakery items can be bought off shelf as well. They also have a high tea option which can be arranged even for a small party. Staff is very courteous and helpful.

Nice small cafe in front of Tasty caterers by the Tasty caterers. Reasonable options are available. Food is yummy. Prices are reasonable too. Nice atmosphere. Not very crowded at day time. Staff is polite and offers a very good service. Only complaint was the washroom which is small and not very clean near the wash basin.

Cafe 97 is a great coffee and restaurant combo. It's a casual hangout where you can enjoy above-average-priced coffee and delicious food. The best part? You won't have to wait long! The fast service is a big plus when you're in a hurry. The food here is so tasty, making it the ideal spot for a quick bite. Give it a try, and you won't be disappointed!

The food at this place was really good. However during my second visit it left a bit of a sour experience in mind. I paid in cash and they returned the balance 10 rupees less. It's a very small amount so I didn't feel like asking but it was the first time I experienced this in a restaurant of this caliber. Since most other restaurants over compensate if they don't have change. The worst part was they didn't even apologize for it. The Instagram social media team never responds to any queries and just sends an automated msg asking to call the restaurant. Still for all the food is quite good. Hence the three stars.

Met with friends for high tea, prearranged! They provided an excellent service, gave us the fullest attention. The Savouries, kebabs,and sweets were delicious. Customised some of the servings to preference of veg and non-veg. Recommend this for small to medium size hang-outs with friends

We had a kids gathering @cafe 97. The restaurant manager Noel and the staff was amazing. They were really supportive and understood the kids need. Hospitality was superb. Highly recommend

Absolutely lovely food, well served, well presented, excellent service, calm atmosphere the only thing that let it all down, was the rest rooms..... A bit of paving and bright lights and regular cleaning? Other than that it was super perfect

Very convenient place, mostly there won’t be much crowds. Very peaceful. Very friendly staff. Food wise it’s very quality and tasty. Price wise, it’s very economy compare with other restaurants. Recently I tried veg sandwich and passion mock tail it was yummy 😋 Highly recommended 👍👍

We went for a late lunch and some menu items were not available. Probably because we were late. Have good variety in the menu. Don't try the Thai tea.

Cute little place with delicious food and friendly staff! They also have a lovely outdoor area ideal for small private functions. We had our daughter's birthday celebration in Feb 2022 at their outdoor space, the food, cleanliness and service all were excellent! Their staff go out of their way to delight the customers. I would totally recommend cafe 97 and their food!

Lovely Cozy place . A not so big cozy restaurant away from the hussel & bussel in the town. The menunis not very large but has some very nice dishes. Food is very tasty . Love the desserts too. A family friendly place. Only obstacle would be parking during peak hours . Great service Average pricr per main dish 1,200

A comfortable cozy Cafe with an exclusive menu. The staff is super friendly and flexible to customize the food. The food I felt was a bit over priced for a Cafe, but hey maybe my wallet is too small for this place 😉 the food we orderd was mediocre nothing over the moon. It was good and tasty. Would I go there again? Yes for sure, I have try out the rest of the menu. I found the churros to be too thin and hard though.

A very quaint cafe. The food was great. Their roast loin pork was excellent. Large portions. Definitely value for money. Decent coffee. Service was quite fast. The staff is very friendly. Can recommend this place without any hesitation.

Lovely ambiance and a good menu. Service is good the food preparation and presentation is awesome. I felt the Bill was very reasonable. Would definitely go again.
