Its an old station located near to bambalapitiya town area. Just a quick jump to galle road and very easy spot to reach any place in colombo area. The station is not much good and it has very low facilities.

It's a really old and gold place. I feel like I reached the old British kingdom. I can say it's one of the historical places in Colombo. Which is located near the bank of the sea. One of the cool and good tourist places. I can do a journey and spend time with nature.

Nice view. This is the 4th coast line sub railway station from Colombo Fort Railway Station. Ticketing officer is a quick man and friendly. Prepaid WiFi coverage available. Covered waiting area and seating facilities available. It's walking distance from Majestic City. ATM machine, clean lavatories, sheared rest rooms are not available. The lavatory is closed and staff keep its key. There are no wheelchair accessible entrance for disabled people. This railway station is very busy on weekdays at 7.30am - 8.30am and 4.00pm - 6.30pm.

This is an old railway station. No sufficient seating facility for many people.

It is a fourth railway station from Colombo and is located between Kollupitiya railway station and Wellawaththa railway station. Very old station it might be constructed in colonial period. Thousand of commuters used this station daily basis. Crowded during the office hours. Not many seats are available. It is also an ideal place to watch the sunset.

During morning and evening (after 5.00pm) busy station. In day time, there is no frequent trains. In evening you could see a beautiful sundown while waiting for train. Also, this place lack of any sanitary facilities.

Bambalapitiya railway station is one of the oldest station in colombo.

Though it is busy during peak hours of working days, it is quiet during Sundays. Close to popular shopping malls and to the Galle road.

Two counters to buy train tickets. Bit crowded in office hours. Always use the overhead bridger to get off from station.

There has no proper road. Only one counter open so we want to long time to get a ticket. There has no proper wash room.
