Hardly can be recommended to anyone because of their nature of business. They will bark like a dog and won't even have a good customer attitude to treat customers. I don't really recommend anyone to buy something from them. There are several other good shops. Try them under your peril.

Not sure about the shop but the driver which took us here was a scammer. He took us here and when we didn't purchased that day, the tuk the driver abandoned us in between our route. We liked few products of this store but didn't came back because of the driver scam. I'm sure the store is also part of such scam of abandoning tourists mid way. We were from India and we took very bad image of the city, due to this incident.

Purchased a sapphire pendant from you. When I took it to the shop opposite (Lakdiva) the jewelry shop manager who is also a gemologist told us that the sapphire was a fake. We came back to your store to return the goods when y’all started barking at us like dogs. I didn’t understand a word you said but I have lodged a complaint at the tourist police. Check my name. Just Incase you’re wondering if I’m “legit”. Seriously, you guys really need to brush up on your English language. It’s horrible. Specially for a company that deals with tourists.

I found this place randomly, but eventually found it as a very good one. Looking at the shop U may feel its expensive, but to be honest it is not so. Staff is extremely friendly and polite. They have a sound knowledge of their work. Initially I made a silver Amethyst Ring from them and then I went on to make a Nawarathna Ring also. Far better in quality and price than Facebook promoted shops. Recommended

SCAM! SCAM! SCAM! Let me explain you are very sad story of me, trying to buy a genuine gem in Sri Lanka and getting scammed by these unprofessional wolves. On February 17th, I visited their shop with my driver Mr. Mohan. All of your salesman will remember us. When we entered the shop, on the first hand I felt was discomfort. The shop is very noisy and the salesmen look unprofessional. When it was my turn to go look for the gem. The salesman who attended us Imad and his father who was guiding him was speaking English which was out of the world. It almost took us a while to understand that he actually said us to sit down. When we couldn't understand him we did request again what he said and he was like coming on to our face without patience. I did ended up buying a gem, to be honest it all looked good. Atleast the gem looked good but the experience was bad as hell. I was not given with any kind of certificates as per my driver's guidance I went to certify the gem if it was legitimate. Found out, it was 100% FAKE!! I was shocked, how come a company which is on google cheating so openly. Immediately, we went to request them for a solution as that was my last day on Sri Lanka. But the Imad and his father was shouting in local language. My driver tried to tell them what has happened but they were on his face by abusing him. They didn't seem to care or they were like "This gem was not purchased here". I checked the google reviews and saw that almost many of them have faced the same issue and this unprofessional people have replied to them stating they know 16 languages, seriously? They couldn't even speak English properly. With my deepest words from my hearts, you will get scammed if you try to visit this shop. Just have a look at those replies he has given to the bad comments (trust me the bad comments are true). Have a look at that by yourself, unprofessionalism at its best. However, we lost our money and didn't even get the basic support. Never ever think about this place. Just wait and see we will however get a harsh reply which will seem to be threatening us, from the owner. Wait for it! I need a reply from the manager or owner, I don't want to talk to a marketing person. Thanks, Calcum.

An overall perfect experience. I was referred there by a friend who bought a sapphire ring there. The owner asked us our budget, then kindly showed us a variety of pieces in our price range, and we were able to select the perfect ring for my mother's birthday. He told us about which ones were more expensive and why so we were able to make an informed decision. We were also able to select the design and width of the band in detail. (Sorry for being so picky about the band width!) Thank you so much for preparing the ring in such a short period of time. Also the jewels are certified so they couldn't be fake. That was one of the reasons I felt it was safe to buy the ring there. Btw I don't understand why the reviews say they don't speak English. You can't expect them to be native speakers, and I didn't have any langaugw problems shopping there. As i said, a perfect experience. I will be sure to recommend this place to my friends :)
