👍👍 This place is so darn cute! Went for breakfast a couple days ago and I wanna go again!! :( their croissants are out of this world! And it seems like the perfect lil spot to get some work done at. The staff were super polite and nice as well ans the food is reasonably priced. Got myself a Seeni Sambo... The staff were super polite and nice as well ans the food is reasonably priced. Got myself a Seeni Sambol, Egg and Cheese crepe that I thought was bomb! It was ginormous too! The Salad was a bit underwhelming though Tried their chicken and cheese crepe (don't remember the name) and it was such comfort food!

By far the best french bakery in Colombo. Delicious and finely baked sandwiches, croissants, paninis, crepes. You can experience the authentic taste as they use original ingredients. Reasonably priced and the quality is maintained. Chocolate almond croissants are my favorite. Clean and cozy setting with positive vibes. Coffee and beverages are also great. You can also buy homemade jams, french cheese and ice cream.

Great chocolate croissants. Panini was mediocre - needed to be filled up more. There was a bug in my chocolate muffin 🤢 Response to business: Please see my 4th photo (of the chocolate muffin) for the bug. It is very visible.

Creamy chicken bagel, cheese was not melted, the chicken farce was very bland, no spices, very uninspiring. There was also not a classic cream cheese bagel on the menu. The grilled chicken curry sandwich was not much better. I was expecting a punch of Sri Lankan spices, but it was pretty much just chicken with cheese, eggplants and butter. Not bad, but also not great. The bread is very good though. We wanted a cappuccino with double and the staff recommended the flat white instead, which already comes with a double shot. Although there were too espresso shots in there it tasted like just milk foam. The worst thing was the music. Terrible Dutch style eurodance music from the 90s. Least relaxing and primitively pumping music possible.

Update: Quality of pastries have gone down. Especially Almond Croissant. The breads are still good. ---- This is a very nice small bakery / cafe at Colombo. Probably the best place to get pastries. I have been coming here and ordering from them regularly. Food is top notch. The breakfasts were good and portion size was good too. The staff were friendly. However if you go on the weekend it's very hectic and they sometimes confuse the orders. Eg: A croissant I ordered was taken to another customer after bringing it to my table. Not very nice or professional. Their excuse was the other customer paid it at the cashier as a walk-in customer and the cashier was not aware that I ordered it earlier as a dine-in customer to the waiter.

A quaint petite little cafe. We had the croissants (almond and chocolate) which were absolutely incredible and their cappuccino was good too. Their lemon and chocolate muffins were pretty decent too. My only complaint would be their caramel pudding which was pretty hard and sort of rubbery. But other than that I don’t have much to complain about. Prices are as you expect not the cheapest but not unreasonable. A very cute cafe.

The Baguette French Bakery and Cafe is situated at the very top of the Queen's Road at the Duplication road-side. A quaint little cafe, they serve breads, pastries, salads, crépes and the like, and fruit juices, smoothies, mocktails, coffees and hot chocolate. Prices were actually lower than I'd imagined! Thank you for that. I had a hot chocolate which was yummy and a good portion. There are several tables and people can sit and work on their laptops. The two baristas were very cordial and provided a good service. Washroom available. A few vehicles can be parked up front. There are also freshly made jams and passion curd. Great place to have a coffee and a conversation!

I experienced the Brownie cheese cake today. What to say is its actually not what I thought it will be... the flavour is so cheesy but still not the best for me. Place is less crowded and the staff is very friendly. The cheesecke was lack of brownies also. The iceing they used is bit likes older... Portion is enough. Cheese cake texture is very chewy and very sticky. Staff 10/10 Place 10/10 Calmness 10/10 Packing 8/10 Parking 10/10 Cheesecake 5/10

I like to eat the Great Chief of the Pudding Race (Haggis) for breakfast as I live in Scotland. They usually serve one slice of haggis and one slice of black pudding along with the close cousins of the Great Chief, sausages! Unfortunately, as we are in Sri Lanka I cannot eat a heart attack on a plate. The other problem is, coffee! I normally have an Americano, partly because I like the name. I usually have this with cold milk, but in Sri Lanka I have it with hot milk. In the UK, this will contain one or two shots of coffee, and about a litre of hot water. An Americano is sometimes confused with a Flat White. However the Pumpkin Cafe franchise on British Rail, tell me the difference is that a Flat White is made with milk and not water, and is correspondingly more expensive. Yet when I order an Americano at Costa Coffee (a very large chain) the order-taker shouts out 'Flat White' to the coffee-maker. I do not like Lattes! However I remember fondly the 'cafe au laits' we used to have as we raised across France in our Morris Oxford (big brother of the Morris Minor) on family camping holidays. (My father had built a tray underneath the bonnet where we kept tins of London Grill, so we would not starve in France). I could go on. This cafe brought back happy memories of "Allo Allo". On Burn's night there are many toasts, including a toast to the lassies!

Lovely place on Queens road. Best croissants in Colombo and they have other bakery products like Brioche bread. The coffee was good & the sandwich too was yummy. Price is good for the food they give, croissants are cheaper compared to other cafes. Nice cozy environment, it gets quite loud on the weekends. The space is a bit small. Parking available too. Would come again to try almond croissant.

Love the food here, the mini chocolate croissant is the best in Colombo and priced perfectly. The cafe is clean and well maintained. Keep up the good work and I am hoping to visit soon

I got a muffin, an almond croissant, chicken croissant and lime juice through uber. I absolutely loved the almond croissant and the muffin. The croissant was flaky and tasted so buttery had nice. I didn't quite like the chicken. There was something amiss there that I can't place my finger on.

The building itself resembles simple architectural atmosphere with calm and pleasant environment. Really impressive to stay for dine in. The bread and Macaroni really tastes good. Moreover they have number of choices with French and western touch. Seen variety of Lollypop ice creams in different fruit flavors which I didn’t see anywhere in Colombo.Staffs are friendly and helpful.

The sourdough bread and the pastries are very nice. They also sell popsicles and related stuff and they are pretty good as well (understand they get it from somewhere). We have now become a regular for their bread and baked snacks. However we didn't adore the sandwiches because it was a tad too bland for our palate. Understand as the joint enjoys significant western clientele, it's more suited to their taste - for us Indians we love our spice a bit more! I have found the service guys to be professional & polite - though yet to go for dine in.

I visited this cafe a few times. I really liked the latte. It is just a perfect temperature when it comes out and not too strong. Really good smooth taste. The desserts are really good too!

BEST croissants in Sri Lanka 🙌🏽 I love the staff as well as the lady who runs the cafe who are very friendly. Also love their baguettes and coffee. Unfortunately haven’t taken pics of their croissants in the recent past because they are a regular thing in the household

What a place! Newly opened outlet. Fresh bread, the real coffee, the service, the interior. So this is your cozy little cafe. I did not want to leave until closing time. They should keep it open 24 hrs. Friendly folks at the helm, and so friendly that a senior customer was trying to talk international politics 😃. Overheard that the cafe opened just last Saturday. Goat cheese, meat delicacies, ice cream, and all that bread 😍.

I have been a frequent customer of Baguette cafe through Uber. Although they are known for their delicious breads and croissants, their macarons, cakes, tarts and cookies are all very delicious with the right amount of sweetness without being too sweet. t’s nice to see they have opened their own cafe in Colombo as we missed their old cafe in Havelock Road. The quaint little cafe in Queen’s road has a good selection of baked goods, breads, and cakes. There is limited seating, but it’s clean, bright, modern, and convenient. They offer a wide selection of sandwiches and crepes , coffee and drinks. As someone who has tried almost all their items I can guarantee that no one will be disappointed. The service is friendly and efficient.

👍 A very aesthetically pleasing interior. With a great shisha lounge in the back garden area.
