Google map new feature call "For you" bring this restaurant as a suggestion to my feed. since I'm really into any type of East Asian and Asian noodles dishes I couldn't resist. Since PhoVietnam restaurant moves out from this area I always looking for an accessible place to fulfil my Noodle desire :). a few days ago I went there around 5.30 in the evening closed sign raised then I get to know from the chef the actual opening hours are 6:30 in the evening. so I waited btw I'm not the only one that waited till opening. after opening place got slowly packed. the place has the counter opening and high chair seating, so you first place your order and pay the price wait for the chef call out your name... It has a little Tokyo Japanese restaurant vibe to it. I think they are still in the early stage of things trying out, so there are no lot of things on the menu. even restaurant has a Malaysian influence name, the menu loaded with Vietnamese, Thai, Chinese, Singaporean noodle dishes. (only noodle dishes) Since the I messed up with the opening time I already late so order only one dish that listed first in the menu "Curry Laksa Lemak - Beef (Rs.950)" Prices are from Rs.850 to Rs.1100 for main dishes. which is not cheap. a few minutes wait chef call out my name so walk to the counter and pick my dish (Curry Laksa Lemak - Beef). from the first impression, it looks good smell soo good, but portion sizes are reasonable(it's enough to fill you up) for a one person but for the price, I have expected quite a large bowl of noodle than that. The taste was as I expected it's really good. broth incredibly flavourful. Beef was so tender and juicy. It's quite HOT so make sure not put in your mouth as soon get, it'll burn your mouth. I'm really like to add a little bit of light soy sauce and homemade chilly paste to it then give a little mix to it trust me, its make taste elevate after all. So I really like the overall experience in the "Laksa Noodle Bar", even place get little busier and noisier when late in the evening, the live-action cooking station worth to watch preparing your noodle dish. you can see all the ingredients and every single step of the preparing, which is great. this was an obvious and good choice - great food served with care and friendliness. A great place to introduce someone to laksa or any noodle dishes if they haven't had it before! even the chef was so friendly and he asks every each one how the foods were and greets everyone for coming. Little nice Noodle place. if you're really into noodle dishes try it out. Remember they are close at the weekend. They only have one side dish (prawn dumplings Rs.750), which is a bummer. Since I was in search of Raman[Japanese Food] and Curry Laksa [Malaysian Food], I went to Laksa Noodle Bar with my wife You can pay by Credit Card or cash.If you pay by the credit card, you will be charged another additional 3% of top of your total bill. I think they are still at the early stage of business but I am impressed with the service and the ambience of the restaurant.It has a dingy lighting system and bar type stools to set and eat. I love to watch the Live-action station where the noodles are cooked. You would be able to see all the ingredients and every single step of the preparation. My wife ate Vegetable Laksa and I tasted a Chicken Laksa. Chicken was tender, juicy and had nice favor.It was hot and spicy and the taste was authentic.The broth of the Laksa is incredibly delectable. Food is nicely presented and portion sizes are reasonable for dinner. Please note that this restaurant caters to those of you that are looking for a quick meal, without much hassle or not expecting to spend a lot of time in the restaurant. So I really like the overall experience at the "Laksa Noodle Bar" and I make sure, I will try every single menu item of the restaurant in the near future.

I just love this place. There hand made flat rice noodle is just so amazing. One of the only places around colombo that serves this noodle. So delicious.y choice is always the beef Kway teow…. Yummy

I have only had their food through UberEats but all the dishes I have tried have been wonderful. The portion sizes are a little small but their Laksa is one of the best I have had! Highly recommend the Laksa for a cold weather day. It's the perfect comfort food.

We had the Ho Fun & kway teow. It was delicious. Value for money. Dumplings were okay, not the very best.

Wonderful fast and fuss free place that's convenient for nourishing take outs. Typical Asian hawker style but set in a nice ambience so expect to smell of all things fried walking out from this cute eatery. Only had the chance to try their signature and namesake Laksa. Not the original taste but it's oh so tasty and delicious nonetheless. Looking forward to trying out their other noodles from all around Asia on their menu in my next trip! :D

The miso ramen wasn't the best. Quality could be improved. I feel like the egg wasn’t a good soft boil and didn’t meet the expectations of a typical ramen egg, which would be brown on the outside and white on the inside after being marinated in a soy sauce mirin mixture, also the broth wasn’t up to the mark it just tasted like miso soup and not a broth.

The best place to eat Ramen. Currently obsessed with the Curry laksa lemak (Malaysian) soup noodles they offer. 10/10 would recommend ordering from here.

Terrible laksa! The chicken raw and soggy noodles no flavor of an authentic laksa! Really bad.

We tried Chicken Miso Ramen, Chicken Mee Goreng and a serving of Prawn Dumplings. All 3 had the same score Portion size: 4.5/5 Flavours:3.5/5 Authenticity:3/5 Customer service: 5/5 Atmosphere: 5/5 Hygiene: 5/5 Value for money: 4/5 Overall experience: 4/5 The food could be described as a slightly localized version of the authentic counterparts. There is room for improvement in the flavour balance department. We loved the open kitchen (similar to a sushi bar) and the conversation.

I know nothing about Malaysian food, so am not qualified to have an opinion on the authenticity of the noodles. I do know, however, that the noodles I had for an early dinner for one person were filling, reasonably priced, and absolutely delicious. The dining area is cozy and the owners friendly and welcoming.

Delicious!! The food here is so so good! The char kway teow is a real winner! They tend to open at unusual times, would recommend calling before going.
