Green Holiday provided us one of the most exquisite and enjoyable trip of our lifetime, of beautiful Sri Lanka; to our large group of senior couples. Our tailored package was a leisurely tour of 9 days, 8 nights, from Colombo International airport and back. It covered 4 and 5 star stays at Colombo, Sigiriya, Kandy, Nuwara Eliya, Galle and back to Colombo. The entire road travel was in spacious ac bus and all the associated services were covered. We were ably led and assisted by an english speaking knowledgeable guide Mr. Srikumara; who helped us at every step; walked us through detailed knowledge of each sight and tour spot, that included history, geography; right eating places, shopping places, price negotiations, communications with locals and guiding for the most convenient stops, all the while anticipating and making arrangements with flexibility. We have cherished memories of the tour, nice people of SL and its clean, scenic environs, flora and fauna. This trip was also the best value for our money. Mr. Jey, The Director, facilitated, communicated instantly and helped to assure overall administration, our comforts and conveniences. We are delighted and thankful.

Just completed 7 day tour with green holiday. I was in contact with a person from Adelaide Australia and discussed few travel options, however he suddenly stopped communicating and handed over to Sri Lanka team. Due to my urgent travel requirements, I had to agree their proposed hotel allocation. Feel like not worth the money we paid. Travellers, beware of this travel company, please do your own research before committing to this company.

We completed a tour of Sri Lanka with Green Holidays. We had a great experience with Jey. Right from planning, answering our numerous queries immediately, giving great suggestions to troubleshooting little hiccups along the way. Sometimes even before we realised it. In the end we left Sri Lanka impressed with the friendly resilient people, their hospitality, cleanliness, love for their history. We landed on Srilanka on 27 Dec 2 AM. These guys told the pickups will be done only after 5 am in Srilanka and we have to wait. But all other passengers are leaving with their tour operator and when we checked we are asked to wait till 5 Am as driver will come only at that time. Later at 5 Am they told Driver is not responding and made us wait till 7 am to get alternate driver. I had to wait for almost 5 hours in airport with my small kid in worse mental state as driver is not there and trip is in risk. The drivers don’t speak English and overall in 7 days trip I have 3 drivers changed. The hotels selected are too far from the locations and we spent hours and hours travelling only. We asked for all 4 star hotels and booked and we could not use any facilities because we reached the hotels only to sleep and again we have to rush next day as travelling is more. Especially Last day BENTOTA and COLUMBO is the worse as the hotel is almost 1.5 hours journey and we are asked to start at 4 Am to cover the items in itinerary. WORST EVER PLANNING and anyone willing to have a peaceful holiday SHOULD NOT BOOK GREEN HOLIDAYS.

We used this company's services for travelling around Sri Lanka. No complaints whatsoever. Everything was perfectly arranged. Our guide Upul was simply the best. Very knowladgable, knows about history, nature, customs and a great driver (and driving on the island is really difficult). I definitely recommend this company and especially Upul as a guide. We enjoyed his smile all the time 🙂, he just makes your day!

We were a group of seven, we travelled during the first week of May 2023. The people at Green Holiday Centre have been highly professional and helped us plan our trip as per our requirements. We had hired a Van for the trip and the hotel bookings had been done by them. We were satisfied with the stay booked for us. A special mention about must be made about our chauffeur Mr. Manoj who was friendly and cooperative during the entire trip, in fact he doubled as a Tour Guide for us during the trip. We would highly recommend their services if someone is looking to travel to Srilanka.

I had visited Sri Lanka from 15.10. 2018 to 23.10.2018 along with my family which accompanied 2 small daughters. The tour Agency of Green Holiday Centre was not good. There was a lot of harassment due to ill-planned tour programmes. For example, the distance from Colombo to Nuwara Eliya by road is of 4-5 hours uphill station and half way is another important Hill town of Candy, so instead of planning for Nuwara Eliya on the first day they could have planned Candy the first day itself,stay the night there and travel further up to Nuwara Elita the second day so that there is no travel exertion and ample time is available to cover the city. Again, from the hill station of Nuwara Eliya there is a beautiful train route through the tea plantation which is a great attraction but the same was not planned. Galey is again a beautiful place close to Colombo which was not planned instead 2 days were planned for Colombo where one day was more than sufficient. Arrangements of all Hotels were good except at Colombo, Grand Oriental, which was very bad with water logging in bathroom, food was not good, unprofessional waiters and many others. Only one advise to all thise visiting Sri Lanka is please plan your holidays yourself and also plan your Hotels, have a discussion with the tour operator. Let them know of your requirements, which in my case was not done in spite of sending a mail in advance. Otherwise, Sri Lanka is a beautiful country with very nice people. Tourist friendly. Lot of places to see and enjoy. Money can be exchanged easily.

We have just completed our month long tour of Sri Lanka, and I can’t speak more highly of Dilan. He has been far more than a driver and a guide, he has been the most special companion for us over the last 4 weeks. From the moment we walked through the arrival gate, we were greeted with the most warm and open smile, and we have learnt so much more about the people, the culture, Buddhism, the customs, the religion, the history and the diversity of this “Pearl of the Indian Ocean”, than we ever would have travelling on our own. Dilan’s knowledge is vast, and he expresses himself with such clarity. His driving skills are impeccable, which made us feel completely safe, and he is one of the most gentle, authentic, generous and happiest people we have ever met. We also really appreciated his employer, Charithya calling us twice to check in with how our trip was going. Green Holiday are extremely professional, and we felt so completely taken care of every step of the way. We visited Sri Lanka on the end of 2018 and spent a wonderful time here. Our trip was planned for 2 people .The trip was organized by the Lithuanian tourism agency together with Green holiday. I must say that thanks to your tourist agency we saw and knew the true Sri Lanka, its culture and its wonderful people. Sri Lanka has always been a country that I was interested in visiting and the trip didn't really disappoint. Of course we are extremely grateful to our driver Janaka, who was very caring, attentive and patient throughout the trip, bearing in mind that my husband was traveling after leg surgery and perhaps not as fast as he wanted to see as much as possible. Hi we visited Srilanka in a family trip from India. Our first day was in kandy... There we visited kandyan culture center n temple of tooth. We went hotel Topaz really awesome stay and pleasant stay... Food was too good... Second day we went to Nuwara Eliya, we experienced a chill climate, the hotel lynden groove simply superb hotel we got the food for our wish... Third day we travelled to Bentato beach resort ... chill cool n superb property I seen till now in my travel... Our anniversary day they surprised us by anniversary cake we didn't expect.... Fourth day we were in colombo raddison hotel known for its brand and rooftop swimming pool kids enjoyed.... Another big suprise was they gave us a gift voucher.... The green holidays travels are really awesome n gave the sense of Homelyness... We r travelling for the first time out of my country but we didn't feel loneliness only because of ur travels.
