Its amazing that the kids are "tamed" to sit in once place almost the whole day. my daughter loved it. she borrowed books from the library and has been reading too. the monks are very child friendly, smiles and show the correct path. the organisers do their best to maintain the quality. thank you mahamevaa and the organisers. !

My two kids aged 11 and 5 have been attending this Meditation Program and Poya day program conducted by venerable monks of Mahamewna Buddhist Monastery for nearly a year. These programs are done in English medium and Dhamma and meditation is taught and practice in a way that kids and lay people can understand easily. I can see my children developing an interest towards meditation after attending this program.
