Beautiful place. There are indoor and outdoor seating available. Food is very tasty. We had like 5 different dishes and all are perfect. Also beverages and deserts also really tasty. Staff is friendly and helpful.

We had our registration at the Escape few days ago. The management and front office staff were so helpful and accommodating way beyond our expectations, even though we were just a couple of walk-in clients. Our guests were really comfortable and happy with the service, and of course, loved the ambience of the location as well. Huge compliments to the kitchen staff too, as the food was simply exceptional (I'm still hearing from our family and friends how great it was). Personally for me, the food topped most of the buffet menus at the "top" hotels in Colombo.

Serene ambience adjoining the Royal Colombo Golf Course. The cafe was so calm & the service by the staff was very good. Found the place very homely & soothing to enjoy a very good dinner. The food was quite okay, but the ambience is a total winner! Visited the cafe with a friend, but I'd imagine this to be a great spot for an intimate date with no distractions & guest view particularly in the evening Very conveniently located down Lake Drive. Highly recommended

Nice place to sit outside in Colombo area , with a beautiful view at the golf course. Very quiet and relaxing. And a surprising guest ,a hungry turtle, I ordered white cabbage ,it was enjoying it at once.

We took a cream of mushroom soup, which was too salty. Then ordered chicken Nasi goreng, with buttered cuttlefish. They served us a sea food Nasi goreng, at the end they asked if we want to change as we didn't have lot of time we kept it. As you can see in the photos they was 2 crab claw, which was almost empty inside, and no other seefood in the nasi. Buttered cuttlefish was probably fried several time, it was too crunchy like a papadam, so not good at all. And the 2 prawn crackers with nasi wasn't crispy at all 😑 Staff is really helpful that's why 2 🌟. We went here following others review but definitely we don't plan to go back. Food need to be improved a lot. Specially regarding the price, more than 1000lkr for the nasi you expect much better.

An amazing restaurant. The ambiance of the place is incomparable to any other restaurant in Colombo. The food too is quite good and priced fairly. The staff is very courteous and is quite knowledgeable about the menu and the restaurant’s offerings as well. There’s no dedicated parking for the restaurant but the road in front usually has ample spots to park and the restaurant had it’s own security personnel at the time of my visit. Overall a very satisfactory experience.

Great Food and satisfactory ambience. Went for dinner and the food was really good. Service was excellent. Serves wine. Parking is a little bit of a hassle as you have to use the public road for such purpose. Still nothing to complain about. Prices are also reasonable.

Lovely outdoor place to do celebrations and parties. There is a nice view of the golf ground at the back of cafe. Food is very tasty, you can order any food you want.

Superb tasty food, good service from the staff. Small tip, don’t ever call the person answer the phone I think doesn’t like to have business. She will tell kitchen is busy or full booked when the place is free. But should say food is great.

An amazing place with a good ambiance. But the food taste is not that good when compared it with the price. The dishing and the look is marvelous. But the taste is not great. It took so long to prepare food.

Escape this place! Although I would give 5/5 stars for the ambience of this place the food was terrible. We ordered chicken nasi goreng, chicken kottu, and lobster thermidor. Just bland stuff without flavor . The kottu was presented in a very unappetizing way hence no picture Of that.

I am extremely disappointed with my recent order of grilled chicken from your restaurant via Uber. The portion size was ridiculously small for the price of Rs 3700, leaving me unsatisfied. The taste was underwhelming and the food was poorly packed, with smashed beetroot scattered all over the box. This is nothing short of daytime robbery and incredibly unfair to the customer. I expected better value for the money I paid.

Came here to celebrate an anniversary. The place is absolutely gorgeous. Whether to come as a single diner or as a group, the Escape Café caters to all. The food was a bit too oily but nevertheless very tasty and the portions are generous. Not sure if the staff that served us was new but he seemed nervous about speaking in English (we switched to Sinhala, btw, but he kept responding to us in English even though he spoke to his colleagues in Sinhala) and had to keep going back to check on information about the food. Those 2 things aside the staff were very professional and ensured that I had a great time. I do recommend dining here.

A very calm environment. Their Thai food is delicious. Good place for a quiet dinner. Unless otherwise their bar area is booked for an event.

Superb experience ! The food is amazing and well priced. Portions are generous too. The service was great as well, the waiters were very attentive, remembered us from an event we attended a few months ago. A great place for people who love quality food and a quiet place to unwind. The garden with view on the golf course is definitely a plus ! I can't wait to come back !

One of the most beautiful restaurants I have been to. Their service was amazing as well. Good spot for a date night. Watch out for the small ants if you are seated in the garden tables. Will definitely visit again!

Food was perfect. I got double chocolate milkshake. Better to put more dark chocolate to it 😊. Service and the location also very good. It’s running as one man show to night and that man seems so tired by doing so many tasks. So better to have even one more person to give more attention to the customers. That’s the only complaint.
