Posada El Capullo is a special place. Not only do they have the most comfortable beds, but they have phenomenal service. I was only in town for a short time and asked Silvana for a tour guide recommendation. She set me up with a local historian tour guide who gave me an informative introduction to Colónia. Later that night I brought a pizza and wine back to my room, and asked the team for a wine opener. The young man who helped me got me a silver tray, a wine opener, and set of napkins in a napkin holder, as if it were room service. Appreciated the special touch. Their breakfast buffet offers a lot of freshly baked goods. Nothing cloyingly sweet, which is wonderful. Loved their brownies and dulce de leche bars. Note that they have a small garage on site, in case you are driving here and need a place to park.

Beautiful, the best in Colonia. Environment match the design and so it allows to experience the old style living. Excelent services and quality. Quiet and good taste in all the details. I definitely recommend it.

Beautiful cosy hotel, makes you feel at home. Very clean, comfortable rooms, nice decor. Wish we would have stayed longer. Highly recommended.

Stayed here on several occasions. I knew the owners then but I know the property has sold since I was there. It was beautifully appointed and smartly functional with plenty of comfort and amenities.

Superior rooms very good, but careful if you are in one of the inner rooms, they seem less comfortable. Very good breakfast, very nice people, great patio.
