When you order extra cheese comes out so gooey gooey good. One of the best pizza's I've ever had. Only gripe I have is the onions should be sliced even thinner than they are. Other than that food was great 👍.

My family ordered 2 Cheese steak heros & 1 Super cheese steak hero. All sandwiches were made fresh & very hot! Fries were hot as well. Being that it was a takeout order and having to drive home, all meals were still hot when we arrived. Exactly how it should ALWAYS be! Definitely recommend 💓

Good place, nice atmosphere, friendly staff. We had the tuna sashimi appetizer which is a tuna tataki and it was lovely. The kid's meals are very generously sized, and so are the personal mini pizzas. They have a great taste and satisfying cheese pull. The burger was nothing extordinary but it was tasty and the price was cheap. The only thing that disappointed was the fettuccine alfredo which had a strangely sweet sauce, someone else might like it but it wasn't for me. The clam chowder was tasty though!

I am not one to ever do this, if I have a bad experience, I usually just chalk it up, give it a try another time and/or just don’t go back, but this one, oh boy, this one needs to be shed to light. Over a month ago my sister and I reserved Colonial Italian Restaurant & Pizza’s back banquet room for my sister’s bridal shower. I normally would just have it at my house, but with two kids now, I didn’t want the hassle of trying to get everything done in between 3 nap times and trying to prepare food for 30 people, so I thought it would be a great idea to have it there and while supporting a small business, however, today was the most stressful day I’ve had in a while. I arrive at CIR at 1:15 as we were told THIS MORNING we could get there at 1:15 that would be no problem to set up for her shower that started at 2:00pm. I get there and the entire parking lot was full. Front, side, rainbow christian next door, and the back besides 3 parking spots in the verrrrry back lot. So I had a feeling it was going to be packed. I get inside and I can see the banquet room filled with people. I immediately start to panic. I walk to the back to take a peek in there and there was not a single table open in there. I am now fuming. I ask to speak to the owner and I see him across the restaurant. He tells the hostess that we have to wait until those tables get up before we can get in there. Doesn’t come over, completely avoids the confrontation and the hostess says that he is taking orders for tables and we would need to wait to speak to him. It is now almost 1:30. Before I flipped out, I walked out and immediately had to think of a Plan B, because those tables didn’t even have their food yet, one table was getting their order taken and the others were getting drinks put down. I called Dante’s and asked if they had their banquet room open & by the Grace of God they did and were absolutely amazing. I had to have a guest that was already there early to help stay at CIR to redirect my sister’s guests to Dante’s up the road (we had guests come from VAB, etc…). Not only was this a MAJOR inconvenience, but also embarrassing and completely unprofessional. I understand times are tough and they probably didn’t want to turn those tables away, but they had a prior engagement with us. We booked that over a month in advance and was told we would have the entire banquet room. To say I am very disappointed in the management and the extremely POOR customer service that was given today, would be an understatement. HUGE thank you to Dante's Pizzeria and their amazing staff that welcomed us with open arms and had amazing customer service, you don’t know how much I appreciate it.

My husband and I had a relaxing meal at CIR. The food was timely and reasonably priced. However, the bread was not fresh (reheated and rubbery) and was burnt. Also, the cheesecake was awful. Otherwise, they would have gotten a 5 for the food. I highly recommend the Chicken Alfredo, which is so delicious! Keep up the great service, Jade!

Several things impressed me at CIR. First the waiter was polite and prompt also offering crackers for our 15 month old child. We appreciate this as it kept him happy until the food came. Steak sub was fantastic along with the pasta trio. Chicken tortilla soup was good but reminded me of the Mexican style MRE. Food came out quickly and was delicious. I’d highly recommend this restaurant and will be returning.

Our waitress was busy but great. The food was okay. My husband was disappointed with the lasagna. My chicken parm was good but too much salt. Our bread was burned. My baked potato was lukewarm. The salad was sad. We were so excited to come here for dinner and I don't know if we will be back.

Grill CIR was a bit difficult to find when not from the area. However, our server and even the front end lady were extremely helpful and kind during our 4 person visit. They were quite friendly and truly cared about our evening meal. They assisted with special accommodations with no fuss and a smile! The food was fantastic with a Butter White Wine sauce Shrimp Scampi and a wonderful Clam Chowder on the side (accommodated mozzarella cheese to top with)! Highly recommend and I would return to try some of their other dishes!

My favorite restaurant for nearly 25 years! The best pizza I've found since moving from NJ, where we know pizza. I've had several parties at CIR. The food has always een good and the staff are friendly.

Birthday celebration, seated on time, Server was friendly and efficient. Made us feel welcome and got everything right the first time. Crystal was her name. Highly recommend, although I wouldn't be surprised if her associates were also top notch. Whoever's running the place obviously knows their business. We had a wide array of food, starting with some excellent wings, tomatoes & cheese, and nachos. All very good. Also had a bourbon and ginger ale that was perfectly blended. Good interval between appetizers and entrees. Food was well prepared and presented with zero mistakes. Crystal continued her great service throughout, never seeming rushed, flustered or losing energy. A great experience.

Food was decent. My drink was not. It was mainly mixer. Service was good.

Staff was attentive, considerate, kind and personable. We had "the special" pizza and mozzarella sticks for an appetizer. The food was delicious and I would definately return. The only thing that could improve slightly is the pasta dishes.

The waitress was attentive to our drinks being empty. But we ordered an appetizer and our food came out before the appetizer, and when we said something they went to check on it and it came out cold. It wasn't enjoyed at all.

The food was ok. The waitress was very nice, but it took a while to get a refill once you asked for it. They have an outside area to smoke away from the entrance door. The parking is very tight, but there's more parking space in the back where you can also enter the restaurant

Our waitress seemed really condescending and just nasty, not really sure why or If she was having an off day. It wasn’t busy. The food was okay. Our pastas were nasty, they had so much oil and were spicy, but not a good spicy. Not unreasonable in price. Giving two stars because they didn’t make us pay for the pastas and the margarita was perfect. The service was lack luster

I had the bourbon salmon and it was different from the usual bourbon fish I've had before. I couldn't really taste any bourbon. The fish was also overcooked on one and a bit under on the other. It was still ok flavor-wise and I will probably give this place another go. The service was amazing.

3 stars because they have real clams. Only dish I get from here is the clams in white sauce. This place is definitely overpriced. Piña colada is disgusting and weak. You may as well just get shots. Service isn’t bad when dinning in depending on the waitress you get. They always make the clam linguini wrong on Tuesdays so some days it could be a hit or miss. You can take your drinks to go since Covid but covered and sealed. Salad some days is fresh and some others it isn’t. Their bread sucks , no garlic, no olive oil. Just plain and hard. Take out lady in the bar during week is rude and arrogant.

We went to CIR tonight for the first time and we were very impressed. The atmosphere was great, and the lighting and music were perfect. Our waiter Cameron was very attentive and accommodating. I asked him questions about their gluten free options and he went back to the kitchen to confirm. It’s hard finding a good restaurant that accommodates food allergies. We ordered the wings, highly recommend the parm garlic sauce. My kids ordered the mini pizzas and they could have shared one. They loved the pizza and we had plenty to take home. I ordered the gluten free penne in the vodka sauce and it was AMAZING. The vodka sauce is probably one of the best sauces I have ever had. My husband ordered the meat tortellini and he said he would definitely order it again. He also ordered a mojito and he really enjoyed that as well. He said it was a nice balance and it did not have too much mint. My daughter loves dessert so we ordered the chocolate lava cake with vanilla ice cream. Everyone had some and my husband was a huge fan of the vanilla bean ice cream. The best part about the meal was the price!!! On date night we easily spend over $100 just the two of us. Our bill was less than $100, and I ordered a drink as well. All four of us have leftovers and we couldn’t be more satisfied with our overall experience. 12/10 recommend this restaurant. The customer service was phenomenal as well. Shout out to Cameron for being awesome!!!

Received sub. Full of mold. Called and complained. Whoever I spoke with apologized and kept saying "we don't make the bread". I don't care if you make the bread or not, it's your responsibility to ensure you are serving safe food!

For an appetizer we loved the nachos. They use ground sausage.

    1) there was a long wait to be seated when the restaurant was NOT that busy. Not a huge deal but it was definitely strange… 2) While my crab cake sandwich tasted good, there was more bread/bun than crab. This might be a good place for drinks, but our first time dining there left a lot to be desired. It was kind of like there was no pride in the quality of what was being put out. 🤷‍♀️

First visit was very exceptional! It was empty, so service was quick. We went during the lunch time frame and the menu was from 11a-3pm all items on that menu are $10.50 and includes a soft drink. The food came in a timely manner and was hot. My party had no complaints! I am definitely looking forward to revisiting real soon! Maybe I can catch happy hour!

What can I say? This restaurant really ticks every box for me. I have gone on lunch at work, weekend lunch with friends, and business lunches. The atmosphere is super laid back, and the food is great! Give them a try, you won’t be disappointed.

What an amazing and pleasant surprise stopping in here was last Friday. Had a few apps and two entrees with my partner. Cool atmosphere and a wonderful server made the weekend for us. Everything is made fresh with care. We got a new spot to frequent when looking to avoid drama and have quality food! Very well done indeed.

First time visiting. Food was pretty good. I ordered chicken marsala with brocolli as my side. It was a pretty decent amount of chicken. Love the feel of the restaurant and service was pretty good too.

Colonial Italian was great. The food was fabulous and the staff was very attentive. We’ve gotten take out from here many times but this was the first time we’ve eaten in and we’ll definitely be back.

The service was okay, no complaints unlike previous reviews. The mixed drink ...it was okay. Food got to the table surprisingly fast. I ordered the meat tortellini with meat sauce, side soup; other patron with me got soup and stuffed shells. Both soups tasted bland and microwaved. The pasta dishes tasted like water and noodles with a slap of microwaved, melted cheese on top. The pasta was swimming in watery tomatoe sauce. I've never left a place so underwhelmed and disappointed.

Vincenzo's was closed so we came here. Love the environment. Nice bar. The service was okay. We didn't get our garlic knots before the meal tho. No the knots are not as good as Vincenzo's. No the lasagna is not as good either. Overall it was okay
