A great mall in which to spend a day and get all your shopping done, including groceries. Pleasant atmosphere. Movie theater, food, court with several restaurants and novelty shops. For the unwary traveller, please remember that it is pronounced "Coh-loh-kneeh." A local ordinance stipulates that upon mispronunciation you can be summarily executed!

Beautiful and spacious mall with a ton of offerings. There is a Barnes & Noble and a large Regal Cinemas attaches to this mall. Nicely decorated with a good mixture of big box and small businesses placed within. There is also a food court with various offerings as well. Plenty of comfortable chairs to sit, right next to a fireplace.

Good shopping center, lots of shops big and small, plenty of restaurants and things to do. Always usually pretty clean any time I've been in there. There are quite a few empty stores also, but nothing out of the normal for a typical mall. Parking can sometimes be a hassle, seems like an overly small parking area for such a big mall. Parking spaces are pretty close together and can sometimes be hard to find.

This is a great mall. I went on a Saturday in December, and they had a craft fair going on. It was great to see local businesses side by side with the mall based chains, all with a good customer base.

Beautiful, family friendly and enjoyable space. This mall offers so much! Toys for kids in the lobby, they have many local vendor days and it’s a beautiful lay out of display tables and local businesses. This mall brings the community together and it’s such an awesome place to shop.

I love the area and was very happy visiting different stores. It was a long time since I've gone there. It was such a great experience and I met a couple of really nice people. I will hopefully be able to return soon.

I really like this mall. I love Boscov's for one. And I feel it's big enough to have a varied experience but not so big that you end up wandering too much. And being next to Wolf Rd with all the places to eat is nice.

It's been a minute since I have been to Colonie Center and ended up inside after the Cheesecake Factory. Place looks great! Seemed busy and full of vendors. Bright clean and the food court was yum!

Horrible place. Too expensive. Food and clothing stores. Most stores are closing and it's all the fault of management. Charge to much to rent a space in there. Causing stores and food court to raise their prices. Plus they turn a blind eye to filthy food store conditions. Customers should know the conditions in the back of some food stores. Mice and roaches behind the Asian food stores in the food court. Will never eat at those establishments. Plus freeze leftover food to mix in with tomorrow's fresh food. Yuck.

I have not been to Colonie Center in some time. I went today to return a Christmas gift. The first thing I saw on one of the entrance doors was a sign stating that Colonie Center is pretty friendly. That made me very happy because I love to take my dog with me anywhere I go. When I walked in my first impression of the mall was one of cleanliness and a quiet atmosphere. I really enjoyed walking along and window shopping until I reached my destination. Overall a very enjoyable experience.

No breakfast or active steam tables. Almost no vegan (dairy free) fresh baked goods items except for a few day-old items. Many shelves were empty. This is true of other Whole Foods as well. Even though I was the first customer in the morning, the store was not clean and the toilets were messy. My love for Whole Foods has been falling weekly.

I love coming to this mall! The movie theater is one of my favorite places to go! I have also frequented the eatery on my way there! I just went to the Bath and Body Works to stock up on my wallflower air fresheners with a sale going on and it was perfect timing!

I love Colonie center. I like all of the stores. I think it’s a kinder and friendlier atmosphere than most shopping malls provide. It also is safer for children. It is much different than Crossgates. It’s more easy to navigate and get around in Colonie Center and the food court is blessed with an excellent layout

Nice, spacious mall, still full of stores and plenty of shoppers, miss that in our local malls farther north.

I went to the Cheesecake Factory here sadly I was too full from the amazing Chicken fettuccine Alfredo to have cheesecake. The food and service is amazing. The place is beautiful and I loved the option to eat outside.

Hey Capitol District,I just have to say,I've become a regular shopper at Whole Foods in Colonie Ctr. Mall. During my first couple of shopping trips, the customer service was, and remains to be very welcoming. The selections of cooked food and grocery choices are very diverse. So,there is something for everyone. The physical plant is clean, and there are gloves for the handling of products. I have to give kudo's and honorable mention to the meat dept. staff. They give their best in product selection, interactive conversation, and product knowledge. All I can is,shop there once, and you will be hooked. Without a doubt, definitely a 5 star rating.

Colonie Center is the best mall in Albany! Excellent stores. My favorite is the Christmas Tree Shop! You must have a high standard for hiring employees at the mall because everyone is so friendly who work for the mall, especially at the Customer Service Desk by Five Guys. They help you with the wheelchairs. It's always spotless in the mall. My son and I loved it at Christmas when the school bands and choruses would play and sing. We would sing right along with them! Wonderful place to shop. Highly recommended.

Not really the mall type so I'm biased but yeah... It's a mall. I'm usually here for books, movies and goodies from whole foods so I'm very easily pleased in this regard. Otherwise, get your mall fix at this local fixture

So many places, felt mostly like clothing stores. We went to Fossil and the lady there was honestly the best. Floral tattoos on her arms, very short hair. She was very helpful and had an amazing personality.

Love this mall....nice variety of stores. Recently tried the new Ramen place in the food court. Food was good, employees were friendly and patient with me since it was my first time ordering there. I wasn't impressed with the fresh tea though. Kinda have a weird after taste. I'll definitely go back for the beef ramen though.

I really like this mall. It’s right around the corner from where I work, easy to run in and run out. I only had about 40 minutes to find what I needed with success! Thanks for being close and convenient!

I love going to this mall over any other mall (namely, crossgates) While it's a tad bit smaller, it has all of the stores that I like and it's never overly crowded. The food court and rest rooms are kept clean, as well as the rest of the mall. And the movie theater here is the absolute best. It's newer than most theaters and the chairs recline slightly making the experience much more comfortable. And again, even in the theater, it's never overly crowded. There's also a wonderful variety of restaurants located right inside the mall. You just can't go wrong

I've worked in this mall for a Long time and this is the first time in a while it's actually getting better, no nonsense, or issues just peaceful people walking around and shopping enjoying small stores.

Very easy to access mall. Wish there were more stores. We like the Barnes and Noble books store and Cheesecake Factory.

Great pit stop for families! Right off the highway, has a WholeFoods where you can stock up on road trip snacks - and the mall has a HUGE family are with changing tables, a play lounge for kids with a tv, family friendly bathrooms and private pumping spaces.

Lavish lounge hair studio The overall experience was ok. I asked for a specific color. I was told they would have to lift my color. A few ppl came in and got services and I was left while they did others hair. At the end when my hair was finally finished. I was charged 325 for a berry color. Yes I said that right 325 dollars. Needless to say I will not he going back. If your going to charge so much for a basic service let the customer know. I'm very upset with the pricing and the result was not the right color. So if you decide to choose this place. Ask price first because you will be not pleased if you don't.

Rated 4 stars because it's always clean and never packed in my experience. If you want a selection of stores, this definitely isn't it. This is the smallest mall that I've ever been to

I really enjoyed my shopping at whole foods the other day they have so many things to choose from the prices are reasonable. Staff in each department was very helpful even the people stocking they were terrific. Probably go back again. I love colony center as it is my favorite place to go shopping so many different shops including whole foods is there how nice that is

First time at this mall anf it has a lot of stores, including Boxlunch, which is really an uncommon store to find.

The last 2 times I shopped here it was super hot inside. I mentioned it to a cashier and she said that the mall is refusing to turn on the AC. It’s in the 80’s and 90’s and extremely humid, so I find this a really scummy thing for the mall to do. Youd think that malls, being a dying breed, would do what they could to attract shoppers and tenants. No wonder there are so many empty stores here now and such high turnover. If I can’t shop here without being physically uncomfortable and sweating, I’m just not going to shop here.

Went to Colonie Center to pickup an online order I'd made at Macy's. I went right around 6PM on a week night, parked on the far side of the parking lot that's adjacent Macy's it was not crowded. I got a good spot and went in the store that was not busy, I went up the escalator to customer service online pickup. There was one person in line in front of me. It was great! I was in and out in not even 10 minutes 😊. This was not the first occasion this happened this way. Which is why I've been placing more Macy's online orders to the Colonie Center store and picking them up during the week.

Not a bad mall, except the parking is terrible. There's never any reasonably close spots, ever. If you're handicap, don't bother trying. If you do go, it's not bad inside. Nice selection of stores and restaurants. There's even a post office. Also, they have a Whole Paycheck, uhh, I mean Whole Foods. I love Whole Foods, but they are pricey. At least the parking down by them is ok. The Barnes and Noble is pretty nice as well, but what bookstore isn't?

It had been about 5 yrs since I was there. Several closed stores. Easy parking, easy access to get in, went to Christmas tree shoppe and walked to boscovs, clean enough all around. No activities such as escape rooms, mirror maze or such that I saw. Do have movies.

While this mall is ALWAYS packed and has a great selection of stores.. I feel like the roaming herds of teenagers could and should be better monitored. Some malls strictly enforce rules about large groups roaming the mall because of fights and rude behaviors and I have repeatedly experienced unruly, entitled kids in large groups who make me leery. I'm no wilting lily who thinks every kid is bad, these groups are tyrannical in their pushing, shoving, smart mouths and rudeness to other shoppers. While I havent encountered said groups at every visit, I always park within view of cameras and take stock of my surroundings.

One of the best stops for shopping! Many excellent choices & some really good food can be found here. Almost everything you need can be found here. This was the first shopping mall to be built in the Capital District and has been one of the best places to shop since opening. Highly Recommended

Love this Mall! It speaks for itself all the wonderful places inside the Mall, even a Bookstore. I love the Movie Theatre here the Seats are comfortable. Lots of nice Stores to choose from and good food too. Nothing is better than this Mall ☺️

My biggest issue with Colonie Center is the very limited amount of handicap parking near the main entrances. I have taken my elderly mother many times and have not once been able to get a handicap parking spot. We always have to park far away and walk which is not a problem for me but is for her. I now try to take her shopping at others places because of this problem.

Great mall! It wasn't very crowded on a Saturday during the middle of the day. The variety of stores is perfect and makes it easy to spend a lot of time at the mall. I do wish there were more exits as it was hard to find a way out when we were ready to go. It was also frustrating that there was no mall entrance to Whole Foods. The mall was very clean and well air conditioned. Definitely a great way to spend a day!
