The place is rundown, sketchy, and gross. The rooms are barely cleaned and not maintained at all. The room we stayed in was falling apart. We booked a room specifically for a hot tub only to be told it was broken when we checked in. No apologies or offer of a discount. The place also has a reputation in town for illegal activity. The advertising pictures are inaccurate and old. Stay literally anywhere else.<br/>What the owner replied is a blatant lie. We were NEVER asked if we wanted to cancel or offered a refund. We weren't even told it was just the jets that were broken, we were just told it was broken. Her reply is unethical and incorrect.

I absolutely enjoyed my stay. At first glance it seems a little older but inside was very welcoming. families were gathered playing pool in the lobby. ( Yes they have a pool table. SO COOL) it just gave a home feeling. the girl at the desk Rachel was stellar. she treated me and my wife as family and even remembered our names each time we passed, i was surprised she remembered! and she said hello to others by name. it made me feel acknowledged which is great! . we stayed for almost week and everyday was pleasant. even the house keepers were nice. i will return! And Many thanks for Stephine for letting us come in early. shes a pretty cool lady!

Do not stay here. Rooms are over priced. They had mold in the rooms with the smell to go with it. The lady at the front desk that worked in the early morning was very rude. They never replaced towels or took out the trash. People had their pets in the breakfast area. Very old motel. Floors where not clean. We had to change rooms cause of the mold and smell. Very musty small in both rooms we had. The worst experience i have ever had at a motel ever.

The day-staff were fantastic, but beyond that, it's really not worth, even the cheapest rate. First, the hotel is surrounded by folks smoking marijuana (yes, I know it's legal), and the smell permeates the room, even on the second floor. The parking lot itself felt unsafe, especially at night, when there are numerous people standing, sitting, laying outside the doors. The room was fine, until the next day when we had full trash cans, no towels, and no one ever came in to clean, or replenish. When asking the front desk that night, the night staff was very rude, and claimed they had no idea where towels were kept - and we never got any. The bathroom door was in really bad shape; you actually had to lift the handle (which was broken) to get the door to shut. Otherwise it made a loud scrape across the floor and you really had to muscle it closed. Needless to say, I will not return.

I feel very misled. The photos make this hotel appear to be clean and well kept. This is not the case. The carpeting is very dirty. Our room has dust and dirt everywhere. The pool definitely needs a facelift. There is a smell of pot and pet urine in the hallways. There is NOT a fitness room as the website indicates. The worst example I can give however, is walking down the hall there was dog EXCREMENT on the floor which we almost stepped in. I reported it to the front desk and when I went by some time later the pile had been scraped up but there was still some residue left and had clearly not been sanitized. Who knows what is lingering in the rest of this place! We are frequent Wyndham guests but I have never been to a Wyndham hotel that was so dirty and unkept. It's too bad because it has a lovely view of the mountains and is a quick walk to the quaint downtown area of Old Colorado City. I've also never left a bad review on anything before. This is my first because I felt obligated to make it known how bad our experience has been.

This was an extremely clean and friendly environment. The bed was comfortable. I had apartment issues upon arriving in Colorado and had to stay 10 nights in a hotel. My first hotel choice was a filthy nightmare. I booked 5 nights and was locked in, with no offer of a refund. I was so happy when I checked into this hotel for my remaining 5 nights. The hotel offered a bagged continental breakfast due to COVID. I highly recommend this hotel if you are in the Colorado Springs area. Very affordable and well worth the nightly rate.

This place is a dump. Popcorn ceiling was stapled up in the bathroom. Floor was filthy. Turn on cold water and you could get scalded. Room was not cleaned at 6 pm one night and the next day not at all. Had to ask for towels repeatedly. Air conditioning was set at 60 but barely made the room comfortable. I could go on and on but will stop. Manager was great, except for making excuses. There has got to be a better place to stay. Oh yeah, and then they have the nerve to charge a pet fee each night. Any damage a pet might do would be an improvement.

The hotel was dirty upon arrival. Hairs in tub, dirty carpets, sheet stained of makeup which is unsanitary. All I can say room looked uncleaned, no room service came in. Their excuse we only have one house keeper. It was already 6pm room should have been cleaned in the morning not the night close to bed time. The staff was rude! We understood our money was lost but they could have at least apologized right or showed they cared. The manager just sat there with her additude and hands crossed. Very unpleasant!

Absolutely horrible experience. Dirty hotel all around. Our toilet didn't work since we checked in. We contacted the front desk several times where the general manager Stephanie first handed ME a plunger, then later called some man who lost his teeth probably due to meth use to plunge it. In the morning the toilet was still clogged and the hotel still refused to fix the toilet, change our rooms or refund our room fees so we could stay somewhere else. The pool had a filth ring around it, dead bugs everywhere and the windows were covered in webs. The food area for their free breakfast was a disaster with dried, crusty food on the waffle iron and cereal everywhere. The floors in the halls and rooms were filthy also. They clearly don't vacuum and after taking a shower, my son's feet were black from walking on the room floor. Also, I've never been to a hotel that doesn't put a comforter on their beds? There was also a homeless man with a knife walking around the parking lot at night. DO NOT STAY HERE!

Most disgusting place I’ve ever slept in. When we booked the room, the online pictures were very misleading. While checking in, my room was NOT clean! Built up dirt and crumbs on the floor, greasy finger prints all over the microwave (from last however many guests before) and dresser. The bathroom was the cleanest part of the room and it was still disgusting. Couldn’t even bring ourselves to eat breakfast because of how disgusted we were with the place, and we were there for 6 nights. The only benefit to this unpleasant stay was the cheap prices-obviously they’re cheap for a reason.

I would like to say thank you to the housekeeper that turned my wallet in you saved me a lot of trouble. I would have been up poop creek . the rooms were clean. The people wondering around were to be better desired. Breakfast was nice got to love waffles. The price was great! But this place could be better.

The accommodations were just what I expected for this level of hotel. The hotel was clean and the room was spacious. The pool was clean although small. The breakfast was adequate. The staff was all friendly, but the night attendant was smoking right in front of the building near the sign that said "no smoking at least 20 feet from the building." Overall, we had a good stay and would stay here again if we are in need of inexpensive lodging in this area.
