Authentic and delicious. Will definitely be back more often! Such a genuine person that, along with her mother, actually surprised me with the quality of food and drinks that made for us.

Highly recommend you visit if you're looking for a great atmosphere with great authentic cuban food. Oh, I can't leave out that Maggie and Mom were very hospitable.

Maggie's is a small authentic eatery specializing in Latin home style Cuban cooking. We were greatest with a warm smile and helpful hints about the menu. The smells are enticing, and the display of desserts memorizing. We ordered (no hablar), roasted pork with plantains, black beans, and rice. We served hearty portions of succulent pork with amazing flavor. The plantains, black beans, and rice were a great side. You can't rush perfection. It took about fifteen minutes to get our food; it was definitely worth the wait. I won't try to describe the sweets; they are a sweet lovers delight.

Visiting an ole friend in Lake City , Florida took me to this little place for lunch. Mind me but this ain’t big at all but the food makes up for it ! We had to wait a bit for the food. After you get your 1st bite you’ll forget about the wait. Very friendly staff, very clean. I enjoy little places like this so can return Enjoy

Great food, great service.. I got the beef stew with white rice, plantains, and black beans. Black beans aren't pictured they were in a different container wlbut were seasoned wonderfully. Everything was amazing 🤩😋🤤

While its hard to find great food and service . But its not a problem at Maggie's. When i walked in I was greated by Maggie with a big happy smile . once i ordered she handed the order to her mom who is the head cook there. So to say its as authentic and good as you will find anywhere is an understatement.!!!! If you haven't tried her little place you need to. Definitely one of my favorite places to eat

Legit Cuban food and techniques. Their cilantro garlic condiment is a must have. The owner personally sources key ingredients direct from Tampa. Nice Touch!

Omg. The food was so GOOOOOD!!! 😩😩😩 I had the chicken, yellow rice, black beans and sweet plantains w/a side of the potatoes w/garlic and oil on them- AMAZING. For drink I mixed the pineapple and passion fruit together - PERFECTION 🤌🏽. I took one bite & just kept eating & I didn't take a picture, but TRUST you will Not be disappointed!!! Large portion and full of flavor at a great price! I highly recommend!!

Wow... Maggie's is amazing. Beef empanadas, rice and beans were terrific, and the owner (?) lady even gave us sweet plantains. Of course, I got a mamey shake, which was terrific as well. Price for 2 meals and the shake was a little less than $20. Pro's: super friendly and quick service, amazing food, great value. Bathroom was bright and clean. Just so you know, seating is outside under a large covered open porch. Approximately 4-5 tables that can seat 4 people each. Not a big deal for us as we don't mind eating in the vehicle. The food was so hot and they pack it in Styrofoam, so it should travel well if you live in LC. My only suggestion would be adding prices to the menu and maybe laminating 10 copies for people to grab when they walk in the door. It is easier to point to something in your hand than on the chalkboard, and I think it might make it easier for people who are new customers. Oh, yes, and please make more ropa vieja so there will be some left for us next time!

Maggie’s place is amazing!!! Maggie herself is a gem sweet, kind, and so welcoming. As I walked in the smell alone took me away amazing food, friendly staff I definitely recommend this restaurant. The best place to eat between Live oak, and lake city.

I love this restaurant! The food is fantastic and there is such a warm atmosphere from staff and patrons. One lovely person even bought my mom and me flan (don't pass it up!). I can't wait to go back next time I'm in town visiting family.
