    Do not bank here if you are african american. Offering your money and getting handcuffed in the process doesn’t sit right with me! We deserve a public apology immediately and your management fired. This will not be swept under the rug! We will make sure this gets highlighted in the main news

    DO NOT BANK WITH THIS BRANCH. They are extremely unprofessional. Especially the bank manager John Askwith. I cannot tell you enough. This guy is point blank racist. Will judge you without any regards. Do not use this branch as the customer service is very poor. Do not work here as it is understaffed and there seems to be racists working here.

    Racist banking company with a manager who is equally racist. Wish this bank would close its doors forever so at least these racist practices could come to an end at this location. But based on US Banks statement on this the entire company engages in racial profiling practices.

    The bank teller had white powder around his nose and told me I handed him 20 dollars less than what I gave him. Then he got angry and threatened me. When I asked to see manager they both went into the bathroom and come out sniffling and apologized and recount the money right.

    Be careful if you are black. This place will call the cops on you because "you people always coming in there with fake checks" according to the banks manager. Just avoid this place, they don't deserve anyones money

    I just saw the video of the young man Joe Morrow trying to cash his hard-earned paycheck. It saddens me and it is absolutely disgusting the way they handled that. I agree that being a white man I could have probably cashed a fake check and they would never thought twice about it. But they racially profiled an innocent person. That bank manager should be terminated and not be allowed to practice in banking anymore unless he's playing Monopoly. If they were having issues commonly for fake checks then the bank manager should have simply called and verified the guys employment because of multiple previous issues with checks from that company logo. But instead he chose to embarrass degrade a fellow human being because he's a rich white man in America. Completely pathetic unprofessional inhumane and racist.

    Utube - banking while black. The manager lied more than one. Then US bank corporate released a statement disputing the facts…until the police body cam showed what type of organization they are. Then they settled-made the kid signed an NDA so he can’t discuss the settlement. What a lack of transparency…move your money from this bank, cancel any credit cards with them. If they came out and said we made a big mistake, you can except that…none of us are perfect. US bank showed us who they are and how act…disgusting!

    Im co-chair of the local Chamber of Commerce and demand the manager be fired immediately and his investment license revoked for unethical practices, namely racial bias. I have recommended all my stakeholders to divest their investment in this branch, if any, and have circulated a petition among our members to formally rebuke US Bank's business practices and the Sgt. who responded to the incident with a wholly unjustified accusatory demeanor and egregiously unprofessional conduct. You have profoundly scarred a young man's life with this traumatic experience and you ought to be ashamed of yourselves.

    The manager should be charged for false report. I saw the video and the body cam where his story contradicts. You're a POS. Receive my message while having a smug on your face. Welcome to 2023. Most likely in the future, your daughters and granddaughters will marry men of color and will have biracial children. That's your Karma since you're entitled protected man.

    US Bank is a very racist institution and especially this location. They perform racial profiling, they lie to the police. It's a really shame for the entire company. I can't believe you can work there and look at yourself in the mirror.

    Awful bank, awful customer service, and they literally robbed my account of money I was entitled to. Hope they're ready to talk to my lawyers. Also manager John is the rudest person I've ever dealt with.

    UPDATE: resolved. Please see other reviews from spring - 2023 for more pressing matters. OP: staff was fine, but the coin sorter (which I see as a basic service) has been broken for months and quite literally stole my money. We’ll see if anyone reimburses me but save yourself the trouble and go to another location.

    Saturday morning. My somewhat negative experience began when I tried calling and repeatedly and got no answer. Two different branch locations. That’s not cool, USBank. At the bank itself, I waited over an hour to get my 1-minute issue addressed. That’s ok, times are challenging. The staff I associated with were all friendly and appeared to be hard working. I can handle slow service (waiting); but I think no service (ignoring your phones altogether) is unacceptable. That said, I won’t be in a rush to change banks over this, but it will weigh on my mind when the time comes to reconsider my banking options. The slow service: 3 stars The friendly service: 5 stars The unanswered calls: 1 star

    Wow. Second time I tried to deposit cash in this ATM. It would not even accept one crispy bill. Wow. Consider upgrading/servicing your machines. Never had this problem at WF. Very inconvenient. 👎

    This is probably the worst run bank I have ever been too. every time I go to this location is nothing but problems worst customer service and always waiting to be helped. If it wasn't for my work banking with US bank I wouldn't go here.

    One star is too generous! How do they stay in business with such terrible customer service and communication? Closing all my accounts after 13 years of being a customer because of my experience here, their business bankers are the worst .

    Wow, there seems to be a lot of negative reviews about US bank Columbia Heights. My experience today was COMPLETELY different. I needed a large amount of cash on short notice to purchase a vehicle and these folks went above and beyond to meet my needs. Thank you for the outstanding (and friendly) customer service! I'm going to shift more of my business to US Bank.

    Seriously 1 drive through open. Can't use the inside... This branch always uses just 1 teller. UNACCEPTABLE. Maybe instead of investing in the stadium they could have invested in better customer service.

    Needs MAJOR improvement on customer service! I called, it rang for a minute, someone picked up the phone and hung up right away. Called back again, line rang for a little over a minute, no answer at all.

    Poor customer service. I applied an auto refinance application online and waited couple until the agent on the phone told me to walk into columbia heights office. When i entered the building, it appeared none cared why a customer was in the couch. After 10 mins , someone marched forward and told me to wait another 10 mins. Boom...30 mins gone and people were busy with their work , Seriously ? I called them back after a day and an agent was working with me. After a week it was rejected for unknown reason, however, my credit score is about 750. The loan officer didn't bother to update me the status and I had to wait another week for the rejection letter to be mailed. I'm never going back !

    This is the slowest most disorganized bank. Management needs to FIRED! Why is there one personal banker on a Saturday? And on top of it the ONE personal banker has been helping the same customer for 35 minutes while 4 people have piled up!

    Horrible!!!! How they stay in business is a mystery to me. They don't return phone calls or emails and when you escalate your frustration to management they don't follow up either. I made the mistake of getting a loan there and have been trying to resolve a tax issue on a vehicle for over a year now. It is al.ost like a nightmare or an episode of candid camera!!! The last straw was when they requested a copy of a title for my vehicle and then didn't return calls or e.ails for over a month and then finally called me and said they never received it!!!! My DMV said another copy would cost $90.00. I am absolutely not paying that. Be careful if you plan on dealing with the Columbia Heights, Minnesota branch. Totally FUBAR!!

    Inside the bank is great, the drive thru sucks. It's slow and you send your transaction tube and nobody says anything every time. No hello or anything so your left hanging wondering if they are processing it or did it make it in? Frustrating yes but not as bad as robbinsdale where they never stop talking

    I usually never post a reviews, however, I feel like this calls for one. Based on the rating, it looks like many other people had the same feeling. I went into the bank about a week or two ago whike I was on a buisness trip and was helped by Julie/Janice/Janett, it was awhike ago so name is fuzzy, one with a J and glasses. Anyways I was offered incomplete service, uneducated answers, and a rude almost insulting demeanor. I was put off by this interaction and made me reevaluate the institution as a whole. I have another account with a competitor and have never felt undervalued and a burden when I go to their bankers and get help or do a transaction. I feel like the customer service within the bank has diminished and I was especially displeased with this location. I am thinking about taking my account somewhere else where I feel appreciated as a customer. Also it makes me think how accurate and safe my money is when they have such underqualified people in the brick and mortar bank positions.

    This has over the months I have been going there turned into my favorite branch, every teller there is polite, and the branch manager is always helpful as well. Also the tellers are the reason I come to this bank even when I am closer to others. I have to say the positive interaction and them getting you out of the bank in a timely matter is the reason I keep coming back. One of my favorite tellers left to be a Minneapolis Police Officer, but the other ladies are wonderful also.

    Very rude management and employees. I got my I.D stolen but still knew my Social. She declined me in a vary rude way. And the wait time is ridiculous. Wouldn’t recommend this U.S Bank.
