This is one of the most horrible places to stay I have ever seen. The room was filthy beyond imagining. The manager was rude and his staff was as bad. The sheets had brown stains as well as the towels.when I showed him the stains he asked if I put them there, I had just checked in! Only one towel per person and demanded exchange for each towel. I finally just said I want to cancel and I would find another hotel. He told me there was no refund and I had to pay a whole week. I was literally scared to argue further so I walked out and got another hotel. I will call the company about my experience. Please beware and asked to see the room before handing them your credit card info.

When me and my significant other arrived we were impressed, even though the nice lady told us they were remodeling the hotel. I really liked the hotel and for it to be an inexpensive hotel the King Bedroom I got was very nice. The bath tub had a brown spot in it but it looked as though someone put a dent in it and it had started to rust. I was very understanding about that. The situation I had was with the microwave. The part that is supposed to rotate in the microwave, did not rotate which caused our food to not heat up completely. We call the front desk at least 10 times. I asked for a new plate, they gave us that. But then I realize that it was spinning at all. So basically we didn't have a microwave, but I was understandable about that as well.

Safety and health violations everywhere. The elevator doesnโ€™t have a current safety inspection posted, and even the manager would not or could not show us the current one when we asked. There is no soap in the lobby bathroom, so everyone (including the staff) who uses that bathroom does not wash with soap. The rooms are falling apart, we had a hole in the wall, exposed nails where the closet bar was missing, cracks in the sink, black mold in the bathrooms. I wish I had taken then reviews seriously. All the reviews youโ€™ll read are NOT over exaggerations. Itโ€™s so much worse in person. The ONLY enjoyable part of this hotel is the pool.

Somehow I missed the reviews when I booked this hotel. I have never seen such deplorable conditions. I never would have booked it. The first room they gave us was loaded with cockroaches. The second room not so many but still had them. We had no choice but to stay as everything else was sold out. No refunds offered. Barely an apology. I saw several notes on the desk at checkout complaining about the roaches and conditions. Expedia should really consider removing this hotel from the site. I travel for business on a daily basis and have never encountered a hotel this bad in the 10 years of traveling.

Wanted to stay but didn't. I was put on hold half an hour while the receptionist looked to see if any rooms were available. You should already know what you have, then I was hung up on. I'm a truck driver and don't have the time to twiddle my fingers waiting on a bed. They already lost my business and I've never stayed there.

My wife and I were traveling from Florida to Michigan and just needed a room to get some sleep. When I went in to inquire about availability, the guy at the front desk was knocked out asleep. The room wasn't filthy, but it was pretty beat up and in need of attention. The bed was rock hard and the bedding was old and stained. The shower either didn't have hot water or the faucet was junk, so a hot shower between long drives was out of the question. I gave 2 stars because it did have a nice hot breakfast. Overall, I wouldn't stay here again and I don't recommend it either.

I have never been in a hotel that was so nasty. I urge anyone that comes here to think twice. My family and I booked a room here for three nights but only could tolerate one night. Upon going to our room we noticed a roach riding on the elevator with us. The hallway was dark and dreary and had a unfamiliar smell. The room was half way clean. We had to clean the refrigerator and the sink had hair in it. We told the person at the front desk and he said housekeepers already left and he would send them tomorrow. Tomorrow really!!! At the time we really had no choice because everything was booked up due to hurricane Florence. We sucked it up and decide to continue to stay. We took the bed spreads off the beds and slept on top of our blankets. The next morning my son saw a bed bug crawling on the wall. That was the last straw for us. I reported it to the manager and he was very nice about the whole thing. All I wanted was my money back at this point. He apologize and assured me that I wouldn't be charged for that night or the next two nights. That was a lie my credit card was charged and I'm disputing it now. I have been trying to reach out to the manager and I just keep getting the run around. I do not recommend this hotel anyone. They get no stars from me. DHEC really need to shut this place down.

Read the reviews before making reservations here. We booked a three-night stay for my son's graduation from basic training. Upon entering the place we were immediately turned off by the dinginess but went on to check in. After dealing with the rude front desk help we got on an elevator that reminds one of American Horror Story. The smell smacks you in the face and the grime filled hallway was just the beginning. Room filthy dirty and our room already had occupants...Roaches!!! We quickly went back downstairs and started calling other hotels in the area and checked out. The other very rude female was such a dream to work with...not. There are many other places to stay. I don't understand how this filthy place is allowed to stay open.

This place is filthy!!! I had roaches in my room and the bed mattress was terrible. The bathroom was dirty and filthy, which is where I killed roaches and I took it down to the front desk clerk which they didn't offer any type of an apology or a percent off of my stay. This place needs to be shut down, and the elevators are not safe to ride in and I seen somebody sleeping on the floor; he probably have been a homeless person, because a fire exit door have been breached and no one from the hotel checked it out. The company that has this hotel should be ashamed of themselves and the business that they have.

The amenities we're terrible!! EVERY morning I had to ask the cook for eggs, sausage or milk, she didn't clean up and she took her time. The pool was indoors but had 2 Hugh screen doors on both sides allowing the cold air to flow threw. The rooms were clean but not keep up meaning the paint needed to be repainted and the doors locks was missing, the smoke detector had apparently come down they put it back up and in a different spot to where I saw the hole and missing paint. They did not have stoppers for the tub.so for me that's a deal breaker, it was not good for me for 5 days. Because it's close to Fort Jackson they get business but I would not recommend it! Also on top of this the phone in my room did NOT work.

This is the most disappointing stay at a hotel I've ever had. When you walk in the hotel it smells like mildew. When we check in my husband and I went to our first room on the 4th floor(406) Ended up going back down stairs to get another room, because the first room the ac was broke. So we moved to room 413. Ac was amazing. Everything else in that room discussing. Bathtub dirty, paint peeling, Roaches , bed was very uncomfortable, the pool is very nasty also. When I went down stairs to bring it to the man behind the counter that their we roaches in the room he acted like he didn't care at all. I would not recommend this hotel to no one.

Very Easy check in, room was clean, breakfast was good. The pool however is very dirty and unkept. This is part of Wyndhams Value hotel lines so donโ€™t expect a lot of money to be added here for upgrades etc. We didnโ€™t have any issues with our room or the hotel staff. There were a few places where Mary Jane floated around but nothing overwhelming and no odors in our room. Other than the pool no major complaints. Overall we probably would not stay here again as an indoor pool was the main reason for booking and once our kids seen it they were not even interested and they are water babies. The photos online show an outdoor pool as well however there is not an outdoor pool. Breakfast was your typical basic items with waffles, oatmeal, eggs, cereal etc and was good.
