Stopped in for a couple of beers. We had read about this place and for it to be very nice with great atmosphere. We had already eaten at another place. So, we will be back to try the food. Should have eaten here.

THIS PLACE IS A HIDDEN GEM!!
We came for Valentine’s Day and a few times after, all I can say is 100/10 every time. DELICIOUS food, great drinks, cozy atmosphere, and good prices! So worth checking out, it’s become a staple for us!

Rotating selection of 30 beers on tap, countless cans of craft beer to choose from. Pretty good food to go along with a laid back relaxing atmosphere. Kid and pet friendly in the outdoor seating area.

Love this place. Very casual and laid back with excellent service and food. What more could you ask for? Oh yeah, a very impressive offering of beers, both standard labels and unique boutique breweries.

I really want to like this bar since it’s the only independently owned bar in the northeast area (that I know of). We went here in March and ended up leaving because we sat at the bar for 15 minutes and no one acknowledged us. We decided to give it another go last night. We sat outside and the male server was nice and more attentive, but our food order didn’t get out in for about 45 minutes after we got there. We had a female server halfway through our time there, and she just seem irritated that we were asking for a second round of drinks (it was around 8:30 they close at 10). Around 9:15, my mom ordered another beer- her second, having arrived later than we did. Twenty minutes later, she still hadn’t received her beer, so we decided to leave.
We had to find our server and tell him we still needed to pay, and he was under the impression that we already did. Nope.
We went inside to pay and that took another 10 minutes for them to figure out how to pay for multiple tickets with one card — I was trying to make it easier and only do 2 transactions for the 5 of us, but apparently that was not helpful.
We left, unimpressed and frustrated. We love supporting local establishments but this place left a lot to be desired.
Some suggestions that would be a good fix:
1. Have people order at the bar, give them a number, and have the servers bring food out to tables. Most people hanging out at a place like this expect to order at a bar.
2. Have a smaller second bar outside with just a few of the most popular beers and a ticket system so people can order food and not everyone is crowding around the inside bar.
3. Number the tables and have people order food and pay through a system they can access from a QR code. Servers can bring food to the numbered table.

While the food is good the win here is in sheet variety of beverages! My husband and I have very different tastes when it comes to beer. I like the strongest and blackest of beers and he likes IPAs and that is about as diametrically opposed as one can have and yet random tap always has something to satisfy us both.

1st timer. Found by google reviews. So glad we came. What a great place!!! The staff/owners are terrific. The food is really good. I had the taco sweet potato (vegan) a 5/5, and hubby had the pimento burger w/fries. The burger was a solid 4.5/5. The fries were definitely a 5/5. We will be back for the overall vibe and staff. The beer selection and food were the icing on the cake. Don't hesitate!! Just go see for yourself.

Our number one go-to spot to meet up with friends. The new kitchen is amazing and the beer selections are always fun to try. Caitlyn (not sure how she spells it) is always fantastic and is simply the best service we could ask for!

Random Tap is kid-friendly, dog-friendly, and vegetarian-friendly. The outdoor seating is nice and the staff is wonderful. I love going out to eat and having more than one (vegetarian) option on the menu! The beer selection is extensive. Overall, our favorite place for a night out.

The vast and rotating beer selection is great along with awesome prices. My wife's not a big beer drinker but she really likes that they have several cider selections. Jerry and Caitlin are the best!

My wife and I had a blast there. They have a great selection of beers, delicious food, and the staff (especially John) are super friendly and attentive. We will be making this a regular watering hole from now on. We took 2nd place in our 1st trivia night..$20 dollars..not too shabby...Team DMV!

Great atmosphere and friendly staff. They have a variety of drink options. The wings were delicious - well-seasoned and well-made. I would definitely go back again.

Terrific beer selection in a quaint setting. Admirable food menu for a beer joint, but they were out of some items, like their reportedly delicious tacos & a berry ketchup that's supposed to be paired with the truffle fries.

Service was top notch, if you are going here for the beer and atmosphere it's a very nice little place.
This review is about the food, Not the Beer.
Stuffed Mushrooms : $10 Raw Mushroom caps with a Chip dip inside.
Not what I was expecting, Not Good, Not Worth $.
French Fries w/truffle : $7 Frozen French fries with Garlic drizzle. Had better at Red Robin.
Tap Burger : $16 for a Tiny Meat Patty that was propped up with lettuce and a tomato. Sadly enough 5 Guy's burger is better and had more quality meat.
I went in hoping for the best. Unfortunately this place, like every other restaurant in Columbia was Not Good.

So many beer choices on tap that We do research on the way over. One person drives and the other looks up the beers on the “Untapped” App. The Thursday trivia is great - Mike, Dan, and Jay get creative on categories and questions. Outside seating in the shady yard is the best.
