7/25... Another great lunch. I will always highly recommend this place. You cannot beat the feesh buffet for $12.50 at lunch. 9/27.. As always fresh hot delicious food and friendly service. Cant beat it. 12.50 tax and drink included for lunch buffet. Great local spot for some southern cooking. Friendly service. Plenty of food options and it stays nice and fresh.

Delicious! I drove an hour here just to get some to go plates! The hash was so so. Other than that, everything else was great! FYI, they DO NOT accept Cash app or Venmo cards.

The Southern comfort food at this place is really good. They offer buffet or a la carte menu. We decided to get food of the buffet. Everything is delicious, especially the fried chicken and the pork skins. The amount we pay was woth our money. I love ice tea and the one they have was perfect.

I love this place and my brothers do also. It's just a great casual Buffet of southern food which is done right. I always go for lunch and every day they have a different special main dish. I love Tuesdays for the lizards and gizzards. Wednesday was meatloaf and today was fried pork chops which were outstanding. When you're hungry for good southern food and want a very casual atmosphere then you need to try this place. My only downgrade is the desserts which are not worth eating so I just fill up on more of that delicious barbecue or chicken or those great vegetables. Enjoy

We usually have the dinner buffet 2-3 times a year. My husband enjoys the food much more than me. He likes the fried chicken, BQ, macaroni'n cheese and banana pudding best. I like the fried catfish, BQ, sweet potato souffle and banana pudding. The food is good but I wish they'd have a few new surprise sides. The menu hasn't changed much in many years. They are consistent in quality, cleanliness and service.

Food is good, a Southern comfort food menu in a cafeteria style venue. The service is good and the staff is friendly. It's buffet style or you can order something and they bring it to your table using the number on a stand they give you. Serve yourself for drinks. The facility could definitely use a sprucing up but they were definitely very busy when I went around 11:15 AM. They also let you put tables together if you have a large group as we usually do on Thursdays with the Grand Strand Amateur Radio Club.

Best food I've had in years! BBQ and baked beans were my favorite although everything was great.

We drove 30 mins here from our stay in Myrtle Beach. I love trying (usually rural) off the beaten path barbecue places in The South. This place was the REAL DEAL! Can't beat the price. $16 per person. They do take out which seemed to be pretty popular. The dirty rice was my favorite part! Not to take away from the ribs or chicken; it's not often I get to eat dirty rice here in Pittsburgh (Summerville native). Ribs and chicken were tender. There were hot and mild options. I didn't feel like the hot was very hot and I'm pretty sensitive to spicy food (moms bf gave me a habanero when I was 4). The sweet potatoes were delicious, but very much on the sweet side. There were pecans (fyi pi-kahns are nuts, pee-cans are toilets) in the sweet pots which was nice to taste and see. They're not cheap. Several different sauces. Collards were awesome! Pulled pork had mustard and vinegar sauce options. Desserts...there was banana pudding and chocolate pudding. I also had the sweet potatoes as dessert. They even had a nice candied crust on top. Right before we left we were greeted by a gentleman with a Big Ds shirt on. He just sat down I'm guessing after a long day. Was very nice and inviting. Wondered if he was Big D himself. Every one was super nice!

BBQ was good. Biscuits are good and a few other sides BUT the Macaroni and cheese is absolutely gross. Tasteless! Season less noodles with some cheese melted on top. The first bit I tried was gross went up again and saw a brand new pan and gave it another try. Nope nasty. Not southern Mac at all. Kraft tastes better.

This place is amazing! County cooking like your grandma used to make. Their fried chicken, fried pork chops, BBQ and other items on their menu can’t be beat. Stop by if you’re in the area and I promise, you won’t be disappointed!
