Booked site 43 for our first outing hauling our new camper . From the time we arrived and checked in we felt comfortable right away. The pleasant and helpful staff we talked to the whole weekend was just a bonus to how nice the campsites and surrounding areas where . Campsites : All seemed very spacious and far enough from neighboring sites to feel private , all seemed very level and well kept for any type of camping you wanted to do. Hiking trails: We covered three of the trails during our stay, all were very scenic and exciting , Big Foot and Poe trails were causal , Beech trail provided some unexpected challenges due to downed trees and moderately rough terrain , but was still a great time . We had a great and relaxing long weekend and didn’t have to leave the park property to get to trails . Even the furthest trail head from our site was just a few minute drive on nice paved roads to get to. Had such a good experience we booked another stay in a few weeks before we left . Campground store is also very nice and has gifts and just about all of the essentials that you may need . Looking forward to many more good experiences here .

Really good place for a day trip. Lot of trails, family friendly, there is also a physically challenged friendly trail next to the mini golf. Pool is at the entrance of the park. The boat rentals had paddle, electric and pedal boats starting at 30min. That's plenty enough to do a full trip across the lake. The life jackets are cleaned and maintained after every ride. The place is known for their weekend breakfast that's mainly for campsite but open to public. Their campsites are good too. I personally will recommend this place.

If you are a hiker skip this place and save your time. Barely any signs marking trailheads and no marking along the trails to help you along. Not much to look at or take pictures of and nothing else in the area. A waste of a day

Try the moni golf. It looks boring and easy but don't judge a book by its cover. I love dunking my feet in water at the paddle boats. Overall, it's just a relaxing experience and a beautiful day.

I definitely recommend Tomlinson Run State Park. We went camping for a weekend and I didn't want to leave. So relaxing. The campsites are spacious and clean. There are fun activities to do like mini golf, the pool area, hiking trails and paddle boats just to name a few. The staff are friendly and helpful with any questions we had. Go check it out!

Camping sites are spread out nicely. Each has table and fire ring. Don't expect pavement at your site and expect to wiggle your unit into place if larger than 32'. Showers are OKAY at best. Roads are decently paved. Office staff has been outstanding. Hiking is beyond good. Site 16 is best, 17 is huge too. On campsite map the "fountains are these Tiny drinking fountains that don't work so ignore that. Ponds stocked to fish are not too far but everything is REALLY spread apart. Expect to drive to get around. No golf carts or 4 wheelers allowed. Kids need bike helmets. You can bring firewood or buy here.

Rented a row boat for a couple hours. The lake is small but the perfect size for kayaking or rowing. The boat dock also rents out paddle boats. Very reasonable prices. Great service.

It's a small state park. Nothing over the top. But, it's very pretty. Decent fishing. Nice pool. Never stayed in the cabins or campground. Dollar general is the ONLY thing near by. No restaurant near by.

I always visit Tomlinson for a day trip especially around the Fall because the Trees put on a show. Has a field, nice peaceful lake, as well as trails.

We've been coming here for years, since I was a boy, camping, swimming, golfing, fishing, you name it! Every year we rent the biggest cabin on site, and every year we have a blast, but this year they made us tear down our tent that my teenager set up because she wanted some privacy and in the rules it states that you can have up to two small tents per site at the supervisors discretion but the supervisor informed us that there is no tents allowed at the cabin sites even though it does not state that in the rules at all and they made us pay an extra $100 for my daughter to set up a tent beside us and they would not budge at all and it clearly states in the rules that you can have one or two small tents but short of leaving and losing all of my deposit or making my daughter uncomfortable we were forced to pay the extra money so that we could enjoy our vacation as intended and it's sad because they they know that you're going to pay the money just like how it's illegal to collect firewood and you can't even bring your own firewood even though that's not in the rules and the only way to have a fire is to buy their $6 bundles of wood that burn up in 4 minutes it's seriously a shame and unfortunately I don't think we'll ever be back! The people that run the park are great people but whoever makes the rules as they go needs to be let go smh

Large beautiful park with plenty of well traveled trails of various elevation for all to see. Theres a lake with kayak rentals near the dam. Very picturesque and has a few historical sites left over on the dynamite trail

Beautiful campground with lots of wildlife and things to do close by. We had to work at leveling our rig on the gravel pad, but the site is perfect with deer walking through. Enjoyed a walk around the park where we saw the owl. We are looking forward to trying the pool, disc golf course, and taking in a drive-in movie. Worthwhile adventure for sure!

Not very large sites, most are better suited for non-tent camping, unfortunately. I've camped here twice so far, both stays taking place this year(2023). If you're looking for a campground with shaded sites, fire rings, picnic tables at sites, and showers/plumbing, GREAT campground. There's also a few no hook-up sites as well.

Beautiful park with very well maintained hiking trails, easy lake access for kayaking, very clean bathrooms, friendly staff, multiple picnic areas, a playground, and a huge pool.

Tomlinson Run Park is a wonderful park to relax and enjoy the day. They have multiple trails to walk, playgrounds, an outdoor pool, multiple camp sites, a boat dock, and countless other things I didn't mention. We love spending a Saturday or Sunday in nature. It's a great way to decompress from our electronic devices.

Really beautiful park to explore. Has nice amenities such as a pool and mini golf course. The pool is taken care of really well and is clean. There are plenty of picnic areas. Will be returning.

nice campground and park. general store staff are super friendly and willing to assist you if needed. Wood, ice and bottled water is available at reasonable prices. enjoyed the Poe, Big Foot, Half King hiking trails taking you along a quiet lake. the amount of litter along the trails was disappointing. Clean and functioning bathhouses. The camp sites are too close to each other, but that’s pretty common at state parks. There’s not a lot of restaurants and shopping nearby, with the exception of Dollar General (multiple) and a gas station in New Manchester.
