Overall, I definitely recommend this place! It was in a nice side of town, rooms were clean, it was quite at night, beautiful mountain view and was conveniently near the freeway so easy access. I don't eat the food at hotels but if anyone does and it was part of there bad review, common sense this is a 3 star hotel not a luxury resort so just drive to Denver and eat some good food or drive 1 min to the Einstein bagel place literally down the street. I love that the staff did not come to our room because we had all our stuff out. This made me feel more comfortable since we were not in our hotel room the majority of the time. If you need something just pick up the phone and request it. They will gladly bring it to you (its not that hard). Con: I (Hispanic woman) went to see if we could check in early as it was 1:50 pm(check in was at 3 pm) and I was not greeted kindly and was told no I have to wait till 3 pm because they did not have some kind of list yet. The girl then turned back to the other female employee and began chatting again. The attitude of the employee could be better on how to speak to guest. About 2:20 pm, my husband (white male) went in to go check in and they gave him a room right away with no issues. I think the proper way to speak to a guest is maybe saying "Sorry I do not have the list of clean rooms yet, but you may check back in about 20-30 minutes if you would like". You shouldn't judge a book by its cover (I have tattoo sleeves on both arms). I am actually a nurse who knows how people should communicate and the girl I interacted with needed a few training courses. I have bad days to but I do not talk to my patients like they are annoying me or bothering me the way I felt when speaking to this employee. However, this would not stop me from staying here again but I will just make sure to send my husband in from the start. I never saw the employee afterwards so that made my 6 year anniversary getaway that much better! This place really is a good place to stay besides my interaction with the employee and I would def recommend this place to others.

One star? Stayed 3 nights. On third night discovered you didn't need the key card to enter our room! Darn thing was broken. Elevator, ice machine, office printer, external door card reader, all broken! The good? Great breakfast, location with a mountain view, heated pool and hot tub. Clean. Not so quiet as the construction is wood. You hear the people above you thumping as they walk on their floor. Poor sound damping. You won't get smart staying at this HI Express!

Room was never cleaned, had to ask for clean towels when I ran out. Poor customer service, and the entire hotel smelled musty. Breakfast looked like it had sat out and rewarmed several times. I do NOT recommend this hotel. Only good things were the pillows were comfy, and the A/C worked. Don’t get me started on the barking dogs or the revolting smell in the elevators…

I accidentally left a small clear plastic box next to the coffee pot in room 114 on the side table June 2nd when checking out. The coffee pot wouldn’t work on top of the microwave so I moved it, the plug in was bad. I had to stay at the hotel because I was moving to a new apartment, I got divorced in October last year and have had to rent a room with roomates so that I could pay off bills from our marriage. The plastic box was a gift from my daughter containing my favorite pearl jewelry from my dad who passed away two years ago May 15, a bracelet made by my daughter when she was four and the earrings she gave me every year since for Mother’s Day. Some silver and gold necklaces, earrings and rings from my mom when I turned 50 and a gold cross my daughter bought for me with her first paycheck working as a courtesy clerk. So sad that who ever cleaned or went into the room thought that they could take it. I called the hotel and it was not in the room or in the lost and found. What happened to good honest people? My mom and I stayed there for two nights when my daughter graduated I even gave the front reception lady flowers from the store. I’m so disappointed. Please give me back my precious jewelry.

It's a hotel. Nothing particularly special about it but nothing terrible either. Front desk people were helpful in finding nearby dispensaries. Great breakfast. Free orange flavored water as you come in.

We try to always stay at these, this one was great, clean, crisp white bed linens, all the little xtras. Only problem was Daeden the only staff seemingly there this morning was running from the breakfast area and front desk to take care of. He was a champ, but it made our service slow in both areas, not his fault.

I'm giving this 4 stars bc this place was very nice, rooms were clean and what staff there was were very friendly. However the lost star is bc they were severely understaffed. When we checked in more than 2 hours after check in time, the front desk had to go check to see if a room was ready for us. There were 3 other guests waiting to check in. The next morning there was only one person putting out food (which was out of nearly everything) and checking out guests. A man was waiting for over 30mins just to check out. I feel bad for these employees bc being understaffed and overworked is not their fault.

We stay here when we are in the area. We like their breakfast (cinnamon rolls😍) and we love going to Virgilios down the road for pasta filed with pear and cheese. The hotel and rooms were clean. We had everything we needed. I would say the bed we slept I'm could've been better. There was a dip in the bed so it kinda was awkward.

The room and hotel were great and clean. The location was good, up again a hillside. However, it was a pain to get in and out of the crowded parking lot, especially if you have a large vehicle or trailer. The guy at the front desk was very nice, and the lady next to him kept trying to add charges to people who checked in, whether or not they had already paid for the say. Other than that nice place.

We stayed here for one night, we checked in late and the front desk had everything ready for us. The room was very nice and clean! Our bed was super comfy. Breakfast was great as well! Would definitely stay here again.

We had some check in issues, but the front desk was wonderful in addressing. We were assigned room 317. Despite the hotel being non-smoking, this room had the obvious cancerous stench of cigarette smoke. Either it was not cleaned properly or the housekeeping crew simply ignored the smell. Regardless, the front desk was pleasantly able to get us a different room. We were excited to get back around 9pm with the pool open another two hours. We were only disappointed that the hot tub was luke warm at best.

Beautiful views and convenient location. Room was clean and beds were VERY comfortable. Pool was a little musty but not a huge deal. 2 of the 3 ice machines were not working, so that was not fun the first night. But after that we just used the 1st floor ice machine. Front desk and housekeeping staff were very friendly and helpful.

I usually stay at this location when in the Denver area for business. I had traveled from L.A. to this location a few weeks ago and upon arrival, I was beat. I left L.A. at approximately 2:00 am and arrived here sometime in the later evening. Upon checking-in, the front desk guy was a little off; slightly rude. After driving approximately fifteen hours with very little to no sleep before leaving, I was too drained and tired to confront the front desk guy. Thankfully, there were no other issues. The remaining time was good. Still our primary spot when in the region for business.
