😠 Went last night to the Emergency Room because I had a serve migraine. The nurse that took me back had an attitude from the start. Told me to pee in a cup and never took the cup. She then asked how do i know its a headache. Took my vitals, my blood pressure was 185 over 99. They never did anything to... People often mention nurse, hospital, Washington,

Went last night to the Emergency Room because I had a serve migraine. The nurse that took me back had an attitude from the start. Told me to pee in a cup and never took the cup. She then asked how do i know its a headache. Took my vitals, my blood pressure was 185 over 99. They never did anything to figure out why it was so high. Minutes later the dr came in to ask questions like usual and asked if my head hurt from sitting at a 90 degree angle on the bed??? Don’t know what that has to do with it. But minutes later a nurse came in and give me something for the pain and she was very sweet and kind. She also asked if i needed an ice pack for the pain. After an hour later they discharged me and forgot to send my prescription to my pharmacy. My experience here was awful! hope no one with more serious problems has to go through this.

I give this place 2 stars because they may keep you alive in a pinch. Their billing is horrific as they have begun outsourcing this function. They are incompetent and don’t truly care if they get it right or not. They bill the wrong people and then claim they didn’t know. Even though I gave them the right info several times. They claim they can’t call out to talk directly to the insurance. What kind of garbage is that? I will drive 60 miles to go to morgantown instead of any Washington health system facility. They simply don’t care about their patience. If they did, they wouldn’t put them through all of this aggravation after having needed medical help. Hire someone competent please.

went today for a swollen throat which i thought was an allergic reaction or strep. the nurse was very mean to me and brushed it off as a sore throat. but yet they gave me a steroid? for what a sore throat? looks like they were trying to cover themselves. they also didn’t give me the paper of any medications i was given. definitely seems like they saw something but just didn’t want to treat me at all. then flat out told me i basically was dumb for coming in and gave me a sheet on how to treat a sore throat. the one part of the sheet said seek medication attention if you have difficulty breathing and cannot swallow saliva. which is exactly what i told both the doctor and the nurse. but didn’t do anything. the hospital is a gimmick and these people aren’t educated i’d rather drive 20 minutes north to an actual hospital than this place.

Have been sitting in the ER for 2 1/2 hours waiting on results of a CT Scan. The reader is obviously taking a nap on duty. Shouldn't take 2 1/2 hours. Worst experience ever. Get a new radiologist!!

Literally the worst experience possible in a hospital. My child was barely taken care of. They barely monitored him. We did not see the nurse as much as we should have considering his pulse ox piece kept falling off. The nurse just left it off and did not make any effort to figure out a way to keep it on my child. The hospital was very dirty. Yellow spots all over the floor that looked like pee. My child was having extreme trouble breathing and it took respiratory 40 minutes to come down and help him. The attending doctor was very rude and disrespectful to us. The nurse we had was rude and very inattentive to my child. We pressed the nurse button to see If someone would actually come check on him and It took her 2 hours (when we were about to leave) to answer the button. My child was screaming because he was so miserable and we were In front of a nurses station and no one ever came Into check on him. The only people who were actually good at their job were the 2 residents. This hospital should not have anything to do with children. They have no idea how to handle them. Someone needs to teach them or not let them accept children anymore. By far the worst experience ever with a hospital or health care system in general. I would never recommend this hospital and will never ever come back. The best thing to happen to this hospital would be to close down! Never again will I go to Washington hospital. Dirtiest place especially during a pandemic.

Took my 15 month old there today to try doing blood work done local an they was very unprofessional, careless at what they were doing. Seems like don't know what they were doing when it comes to doing blood work on a baby. I highly recommend not to take baby's or children to any blood testing to this place.

My wife and I are going through a brief (hopefully) separation of 10 years of marriage and she calls me at 3am saying she's having a hard time breathing and vomiting. That she wants to call 911.....to come now. So I run out the door meet the ambulance at the door of the hospital and they make me check in. The doctors decided they wanna do a covid test in 30 seconds and bar me for the whole visit. When in reality she's having a panic attack because I left and she didn't want that. After trying to speak with the nurses to explain they said to bad and hung up on me. The policy needs changed so your not making matters worse. And the nurses need to learn to be more friendly when people are in a time of crisis. Shame on this whole visit Except the er receptionist....she was polite and helpful

Staff are neglectful and ignorant. Worst hospital in the area by far. If you got a cut on an artery just tape it up yourself your chance of survival will be higher

My experience was horrible! Bandaid station is a flipping compliment…. I only have them a one star because I had to give them something to be able to write this review My son needed a strep test and I had gotten word Med Express was a 2.5-3 hour wait…… jokes on me because I have been sitting in this ER going on 4 hours….. they have cleared out the waiting room twice and here we still sit! I will NEVER come here again…. I typically go to Morgantown for care but thought I would give them the benefit of the doubt This place is a joke…. I wouldn’t take my dog here!

Arrived @ ER door. Had to a speak to the hidden person through a speaker. The nurse came out in a second with a wheelchair. Check in and to an exam room took only a few minutes. Off to xray and the doctor was in with the results. The PA/Nurse Practioner was in to put a splint on. The nurse was in with crutches and out the door we were sent. Quick service. The nurse didn't set the crutches up correctly and we almost fell in the waiting room. We had to walk out of the ER DOWN THE RAMP TO THE CAR. NO WHEELCHAIR WAS OFFERED. We kind of felt like we were a bother to the nurse. The rest of the visit was very expedite.

Do yourself a favor and travel to WVU. I had a leg injury and was barely able to walk into the building from my car. Security and the greeter watched me struggle to the door with no regard that I couldn’t walk. Once I was able to speak to the lady at the front desk I placed in a wheelchair. I was moved to the back to be seen and was treated as if I was making the situation up. I was admitted only to find out that I needed to be admitted to Washington Hospital because Waynesburg wasn’t able to perform surgeries any longer. Here I go again, can’t walk and dropped off outside the doors to struggle to my car. I arrive in Washington and struggle to get into the building again. Then was butchered by someone who seems to have gotten their medical degree as a surprise from a happy meal at McDonalds. I’m still being treated by WVU from the surgery I had in Washington a year and a half later. Don’t go to Washington Health Systems! They are a joke!
