My family has been members of the Marysville YMCA for about 6 years. The lack of progress and seemingly indifference of management to member satisfaction is astounding. I finally felt the need to write a review. The staff members fluctuate between being rude and indifferent. The building is very outdated. It just looks old, like nothing much has changed since the 90’s. The pools are decent enough but very limited schedule for “family swim” in the warm pool. No hot tub, sauna only in men’s room and usually out of service. The cardio/weight areas aren’t terrible, but improvements are very infrequent. Parking lot has potholes everywhere and has been in need of resurfacing for years. I really wish Marysville had more options. The fact it doesn’t is probably why the YMCA is comfortable with its members having a below average experience. I doubt this review will make any difference at all, as the google reviews go back several years and the same criticisms keep getting posted. If someone out there is considering opening a Planet Fitness, pull the trigger!! You’ll have people racing to your door!

Worst gym, Y, business, pick one. Customer service is horrible. Facility is abysmal and outdated. No wonder they’re bankrupt! They e tried to put profits ahead of customer service and lost. Parking lot is one big pothole, they take away services that are actually used and valued and replace them with services no one cares about. Horribly mismanaged. If there was another gym with racquetball within 20 minutes of my house I’d leave this Y ASAP.

I find it a pleasant and comfortable place for me as a senior silver sneakers user. Facility is aging but new stuff means higher cost. Newer than Hilltop y where i also go. I don't use the pools but they look to be pretty decent. Not la fitness but not so crowded and more family oriented. Suits me fine.

Probably the worst gym I've ever been in. Not one good barbell in free weight room. I've seen high school weight rooms have better equipment. The staff needs a very hard lesson in customer service and stop hiring high school and college kids that don't want to do their jobs.

"Frustrated" is an understatement. I used to be an employee at this facility at the age of 15, and I understand the work environment can get frustrating. HOWEVER, I had to quit due to a busy school schedule and became a member to have access to the gym while I finished out my high school years. Continued to go as a stay-at-home freshman in college, and eventually didn't have time to go and moved out of Marysville. Tried to cancel my membership and shortly after had to change my debit cards because of fraud. I will admit, I didn't get the email address incorrect to cancel the membership and it did not happen. I was contacted about a missing payment, and I was willing to pay as long as my membership was to be terminated. Two weeks pass, and I get an email saying I now owed DOUBLE what I previously owed. Distraught, I pointed out the lack of quick communication to, as it seemed, pass another payment cycle to charge double what I owed. I was only willing to pay the original amount that was stated to me multiple times. The excuse of the staff was "being on a 12 day vacation" and that I did in fact owe the original amount stated. I was also told that my membership was and to remain terminated, just how I asked. Ridiculous with the lack of communication, but I'll make it work. I visited the facility to make the payment on July, and figured it was over. A month or two pass and I'm being charged again. I sent a frustrated email about how I clarified the termination of my membership and made the payment in July. My only response, on August 1st, was that the situation was sent to finance management and that I would hear from them "in a few days". It is now November 30th, and another past due bill was sent to my parents' home with a note written by the finance manager. "A few days" turned into four months, and I'm still being charged. I have not step foot in the facility since about March-April, not counting the July visit to make a payment. The lack of communication between customers and staff is ridiculous. I should not still be dealing with this situation after being very clear about making the payment and having my membership terminated. I do not live in Marysville anymore, and haven't since April. This should NOT be happening, let alone STILL be happening. I wish I could do 0/5 stars, because the service was not worth this unbelievable situation in the slightest.

Worst YMCA ever, been a member going on 7 months. The therapeutic Pool has never been usable the sauna has never been usable now the workout equipment is closed from the 3rd to the 17th and yet they charged me for this month. Falsely advertising as a Y what a shame.

Love this YMCA. Their swimming pool is pretty big and hot tub is the best. I love their yoga sessions. They have got plenty of classes every day from boxing to karate. Their gym does not have a lot of equipment but other than that its great to get involved in all the different activities.

Swim teams/classes in the evening for four hours is very inconsiderate, inconvenient and ill considered.
