This shop has a huge selection of wonderful yarns. Lisa is amazingly helpful and fun. She is knowledgeable and has a place for people to come together and craft and help each other. I go every time I am in Oberlin. A hugely welcoming place. The pictures are from an unboxing of an order. It was lovely to be able to see it all before it went on the shelves.

My first time visiting! It's a deceptively small store in an old Victorian house. You enter the front door then walk up a set of stairs, turn left and there it is! It's like walking into a surprise full of color and kind people. I loved it!! The walls are covered and there's am amazing array of yarn selections, needles, tools, pattern books, etc. I look forward to more visits!! She also focuses on carrying women or LGBT owned Indy yarns with a few popular options as well such as Malabrigo and Madeleine Tosh.

Lisa at For Ewe really does have a cozy and inclusive space. She carries a vast selection of delicious yarns, accessories, patterns and fun items that no yarner should be without. He space is located upstairs in the building so if you have mobility issues that could be a problem but has excellent and true to color photos of her products and will bring them curbside for you.

Lovely selection of sock yarn and a very warm and inviting small local yarn shop. Lisa helped me get started on a shawl that had an i-cord cast on and was super patient while I was learning. Highly recommend this LYS!

Lisa is a gem! She has a wonderful array of interesting yarn and offers lots of help if you're not quite sure what to get. I wish I lived closer - I only get to Oberlin a few times each year, but For Ewe is high up on my list for a visit.

Lisa and her husband are so helpful - She really took time to make sure I understood everything I'd asked about. Great yarn selection & really works for many budgets.

Large selection of yarn and amazingly fast response time (seriously, it was 20 min between when I placed the order and when the ‘your order has shipped’ email came in). The only way I could love this shop more is if I lived close enough to go in person. 10 out of 6 stars!
