This was our first experience here, but it certainly will not be our last! Everything was outstanding. Highly, did I say highly, recommend this establishment. We had the shepherd's pie and bangers and mash.....and would get them again!!!

Comfortable neighborhood joint with great pub food and very friendly service. It has become one of my semi regular spots. Can't say enough good about the food generous portions fresh and yummy. Some of my favorites include the onion rings, Italian sub, the hamburger, fish sandwich, and others too large to mention. Even the customers are fis alarm with a great staff

Best Bangers and Mash in town. In fact, it's the best I have had in any town!

Almost the closest to a 'Cheers' style pub in the city of Columbus. The folks like Rick do a good job of having fun with the bar goers here, especially on the livelier weekend days. Had a Cuban sandwich for $12. Absolutely 100% savory and spot on with the classic soft pork and ham, pickles, and crispy pressed bread.

I have been to a lot of Irish Pubs, a lot. This is not an Irish Pub. There is some Irish decor, as well as Guinness, Harp, and Smithwick's on tap. The menu is strangely devoid of many Irish Pub staples, and there is a strange fascination with green chili peppers...uhm...not Irish. Well, there is Guinness Stew (bad, tasted like canned), Shepherd's Pie, as well as fish and chips. Plus, the service was slow. I have paid less money for better food. We thought we'd try this place due to our familiarity with Bua Irish whiskey (my wife and I are both Irish). Needless to say, we won't be back.

Great place to grab a pint with your friends and play us and take darts. Perfect little hidden Irish pub gem. Definitely a must stop.

This place is so darn fun! We always have a good time and it's easy to get together with a large group of friends! The food is amazing! I've had salads, sandwiches and pizza. All delish! Patio nice too!

I come here consistently on Fridays after work with a friend. Great place to sit and catch up.

Just recently discovered this little gem. Not only is it next door to Grandad's Pizza (great pizza!), but they have their own menu of amazing Irish food. I can't stop getting the Shepherd's Pie, though I have also tried the green chili mac and cheese and pretzel bites. Everything was 5 stars. Plus they have darts, super nice bartenders and the best patrons!

I didn't realize they served food? I didn't notice any one eating? Just drinking. Expensive cover charge at the door when they have live entertainment. Inflated prices on alcohol like most clubs.

New to the area and I've been looking for a pub with great fish and chips— I've finally found it! It came with crispy fries, hush puppies and slaw. All so delicious and came out promptly. Very reasonably priced. Attentive, friendly staff. Love the atmosphere, it's the type of bar I've been looking for.

We love the mozzarella sticks, the beers, the darts, and don’t even get me started on RICK! Just go here for a night cap, you won’t regret it.

Great people, great food, and they definitely know how to pour a great pint of Guinness.

I went midday so I can't attest much to the evening atmosphere but the Philly Fries and Tres Amigos were fantastic. The salsa Verde is delicious and a little hot, the guacamole is great and the hummus is even better. The mushrooms in the Philly Fries were extremely flavorful compared to what I usually find at restaurants. The bartender may not know the difference between a Trulys and a high noon... but who the heck cares when the food is this delicious 😉

Decided to check out Byrne's Pub after hearing good things. Tried to come by before and they were really busy and we couldn't find any parking. Tried this last time and there was plenty of parking and thought the pub would be slow. Came in the building and nobody greeted us, so we just sat ourselves in the nearest booth. sat at our booth for over 15 minutes with no greeting or explanation that someone would be right with us or that we had to order at bar because they were short staffed, decided to go elsewhere

Good ole' pub. Their food is solid. And next door is granddads pizza which is absolute fire. Fair priced. Solid atmosphere. They played rugby matches during the weekends that they were live.

This place is legit af! I love dive bars and this one didn't disappoint. They've got food, and it's legit. Got the French Dip with the chiles as recommended by one of the waitresses. Wet. I'm here for a week I'll be back

Love this place - this plus Grandads Pizza makes this a perfect pub to just chill. Play darts. Or listen to lice music. Also they crush St. Pattys!!

As far as stopping in from outta town for something different it's alright, I think it's more a locals scene for going out for a good with friends. & I must be getting old because it was little loud in there for me. The food was better then ok👍

$20 cover on st pattys is steep but I’m sure the event cost is expensive. Any other weekend, it’s a cool chill spot.

This was our first time at Byrne's Pub. The food is great and it's such a friendly place. They have a good selection of draft beers. We started out with an order of sauerkraut balls and they're up there with the best I've had. You get 4 good sized balls and they come with a dipping sauce that has sort of a Colman mustard flavor and spice. We also had a Classic Reuben sandwich and a Patty's Melt. The melt came with peppers and was a bit spicy but we took a few off and toned it down. The Reuben was super. Personally I would have liked a bit more "thousand island dressing" but that's my preference. The service was great. Very friendly and fun. We'll definitely go back.

Perfect Pub for beer league hockey players. Great service, cold drinks, and, if your game is over soon enough, great food 🍕🍕🍕🍕🍕

Great vibe, can order AMAZING pizza, and there's a small outdoor area!

  • 5/5 Alex S. 2 years ago on Google
I've been here twice now. The pizza both times was really good, and the wing sauces are great! Their waffle fries are battered and seasoned, and are the best parts of Chick fil a and Arby's fries in one

Great beer, good people, nice staff. Lots of bands pass though. Watch out for the after bryne wing sauce!

This is our second time here. The food selection is big along with the portion sizes, the staff is friendly and attentive to our needs. This is definitely a place I would recommend to friends and family, relaxed atmosphere

They have great service and selection at the bar. Great place for live music. Bathrooms are clean. They do a good job of serving people even though they get very busy. They have a decent sized parking lot and there is street parking near by. I highly recommend overall.

Had a great time - enjoyed Tempest show. The food was wonderful; prices incredibly reasonable; and staff was attentive too. Will definitely visit again!

The food is actually pretty good! The staff is pretty efficient but not necessarily friendly but maybe it's just because I only go on trivia night and they have a large group of very consistent regulars that get the majority of their attention. Side note trivia here is not for the novice as the competition is tough! The groups that come here come to win!

The place definitely needs some updates. Good friendly staff, good beer selection and drinks. Food is your average bar experience. Grandpa's pizza next door is excellent and you can get it served in Byrne's.

These were the Fish wasn't good but the chip's were great and the service the bomb. They get 4 for service but 1 for fish.

  • 5/5 Nikolaus S. 11 months ago on Google
This is a super relaxed and genuinely good time. Drinks are reasonably priced and the food is underpriced honestly. Service is fast and the staff is knowledgeable! 10/10 would do again. The green chili queso is good but, has some good kick! The worst though 🤤

Byrne's is a wonderful little pub if only the wait staff wasn't entirely incompetent—The food is amazing, but IF they bring it to you, it will likely be an hour and a half after you've ordered it. Don't waste your time. We've had a terrible experience nearly every time we've come. We want to love it, but have only encountered endless disappointment. Plus, they've discontinued their veggie burgers, which was their only vegetarian option (and they were genuinely the BEST vegetarian burgers) and I can personally no longer eat anything on the menu (which I found out 45 minutes after I put my order in with the waiter). We will never be coming back, which we're pretty bummed about. If you're only getting a beer, and are not hungry, you're probably fine.

Love hitting this place for a beer and a cuban sandwich after playing Disc Golf at OSU. Lively atmosphere, great prices, awesome bartenders and waitresses. Wish I lived closer so I could visit more!

We continue to love this place. The food is sooooo good, you won't believe it's from a local pub. We're so glad they survived the covid shut down period. They wisely took advantage of that time to do a little remodeled and make really nice improvements. Generous drink pours as well. Wait staff is really great too. Always friendly, thorough, and fun to be around. 😀
