Visited on a Sunday night with a reservation but probably didn’t need one. The wait staff was very kind and the atmosphere was definitely radiant and exciting. This is definitely a place for celebrations or to come out with your friends for a great meal. The food was definitely top notch as the pasta forno stole my family’s heart. We will definitely be visiting again and highly recommend others stop by as well! The pizza also looks to die for and hope to try it soon!

We went here on a Monday night and it was surprisingly busy! Our group had different pizzas and salads. They were all delicious. The prosciutto was definitely a favorite. Service was awesome and the atmosphere was very modern and inviting. I would absolutely go back here.

Great birthday brunch in the private room! I had the chicken and waffles, shrimp and grits and some pizza! The music was great too just wish they had a speaker in the private room. Shoutout to our amazing server!

One of the best brunch spots I have been to in a long time! We kind of accidentally ended up at Forno but I am so glad we did. I had always been hesitant to try Forno because I thought it was only pizza and I was so wrong! They had one of the best chicken and waffles that I have had in recent memory. Great brunch drink special too: your first mimosa or bloody Mary is half off with a brunch entree! I definitely look forward to coming back.

Found this place while walking around downtown Columbus. It was the only place with available patio seating on a beautiful day, so we quickly grabbed it. Great city view with amazing service. The cocktails looked as good as they tasted. The food was all so spectacular and flavorful. The sizes were perfect for the 3 of us. I would definitely come here again when in the area!

Heard about this place plenty of times but never had the time to check it out. It was worth the wait. Probably will never return again but it was a great experience and great service! The pizza and garlic shrimp appetizer was amazing. Our server was the best.

Place is always a great stop for happy hour or just for drinks with friends. We had never had their food before, but they didn't disappoint. The seared jalapeno ahi tuna fried arancini app was so good!

We got a bit of everything for my wife and son. We came at happy hour and it was awesome! The price of everything was phenomenal, had great happy hour drinks. The pizza was on the happy hour and my son's food was great for the price and for him. Service was great and fast. The calamari is really good 👍 FYI

The food was amazing. I ordered the chicken and waffle. The breast was well seasoned and everything was still hot. I also tried the pesto pizza which was really great. I cannot wait to come back and try something else. The decor in the restaurant area is also very beautiful.

I had brunch at Forno today and it is by far the Best meal I’ve had in Columbus. I had the Brunch Brasato and Shrimps + grits, I enjoyed every bite of my meal. Service was great, the vibe was awesome, the host, servers were amazing. I will go back there again and again. I can’t wait to try a new dish at this place

Absolutely delicious for brunch! It is a bit pricey, but excellent for special occasions. The chicken and waffles was nothing short of amazing, and I would definitely drink more mimosas from Forno 😍 We were able to make a patio reservation for 10am which was perfect, and our waiter was very helpful and amicable!

Went here for a friend's birthday around 1 pm on a Sunday. I believe they made reservations ahead of time so we didn't have a wait. The place was slam packed upon arrival. We were seated at a round table in a corner by the windows which was nice so we had a view. Service was slow and unpredictable. We ordered the Mimosa Bottle Service and then our entrées. I had the arugula salad and my husband and I shared a Midwest pizza. 🥗🍕 My husband put in another order for the Mimosa Bottle Service but about 20 minutes passed and the waitress brought out one mimosa. We explained how we wanted another bottle and she apologized and didn't charge us for the one drink. She eventually brought out another bottle but never brought the orange juice. Other than that, the salad was tasty and fresh and our pizza was wonderful. Everyone else seemed pleased with their meals as well. The noise level here is almost deafening. It's impossible to hear other people speaking at your table without them shouting. This was a turn off for me because it's difficult to keep rhe conversation going when you can't hear your friends. Overall, I would not come here again during the weekend or if it's noticeably busy. I'd rather get the food to go.

Espresso Martinis are a must! Service at the bar is always exceptional and a great place to grab a quick bite.

Really hip place for wine, pizza, and upbeat music. Well attended by young and old, and had a bit of a club vibe. The brick pizza oven in the middle of the bar area is a focal point, as is the open air kitchen. I enjoyed happy hour cocktails here, and I would look to trying the food next time.

Had a fun dinner in here with friends.. we celebrated our friends' Bachelorette dinner here and they gave us the most amazing experience in a private dine in room with nice ceilings and our waitress DANIELLE is amazing as well.. food is delicious, especially the calamari and wood fire pizzas. They gave us this starwberry shot for a little fun.. we'll recommend.

Ummmm, this place was quite literally delicious and we had the absolute best service from the bartending staff! Every single food item was delicious from the spiked strawberries, to the crispy rice and pizza! I’m already extremely excited to return!

Great place to meet for brunch

One of the best spots in Columbus! Incredible food, energetic atmosphere, and excellent staff. Hubby and I never get tired of doing date night here. Extra shoutout to one of the managers, Pat, who takes the time to go around and check in with all of the tables. Amazing! Went last night and already looking forward to going back soon.

Pizza; Calamari, pasta and drinks were amazing! I will come back and bring my family! The taste is pretty close to authentic Italian taste and the atmosphere was nice! Great service and experience.

Service was almost to the point of annoying. But the server was pleasant and quick with our orders. The calamari wasn't the best, and I probably wouldn't get it again but everything else was very good! Will definitely return for happy hour!!

I ate here for the first time last night and was incredibly happy with my experience! I had the chicken saltimbocca sandwich & it was AMAZING. Every single member of the staff was nice from the second we walked in til we left at 10. I highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely be back.

Best happy hour in town. Have been coming here ever since my undergrad days and even though I've moved further away, this is still my go to spot. They did well with COVID precautions and are so accommodating for birthdays.

We can’t say enough about Forno! Everytime we come the food is absolutely delicious and extremely consistent. This is without question one of the best restaurants in Columbus. Fun and friendly atmosphere. The generous and warm nature of Chris Corso permeates soundly throughout the restaurant at every corner-a consummate gentleman who is genuinely concerned with and deeply dedicated to an excellent customer experience. His team is friendly and dedicated. The business model is exceptionally well run. The menu, food quality and taste are unique to Columbus, and it provides us great variety from most of the restaurants in town. Make sure to hit the brunch! Make a reservation or you may have a long wait! Cocktails are generous. All of this in an environment that is well controlled for safety given the pandemic we face.

This place has a very attractive atmosphere with a bar, private event space, and good music playing in the background. Pizzas are the heart of the daily menu, but the weekend brunch here is especially phenomenal. They have all of the usual suspects on the menu, but add unique twists to most of them that really elevate the dishes. Service is friendly and typically pretty fast, even without a reservation. I'd highly recommend Forno for the overall experience!

Excellent food, atmosphere and service. The pizza and drinks we ordered were excellent, came out at a decent time, and the women serving us was friendly and helpful. Would recommend coming here, especially during Happy Hour.

Great food, great atmosphere, fantastic service and one of the better happy hours in the city. They also have a good selection of more rare bourbons at decent prices too (I got a 22' William Larue Weller for $35 for a neat 1.5oz pour 100% worth it). If you haven't tried this place I highly recommend it, and if you can check out their happy hour as well.

I recently visited Forno during happy hour on a Monday and was impressed by the lively atmosphere and accommodating service. We decided to try the crispy garlic shrimp and calamari for appetizers, both dishes filled with flavour. The shrimp had a great burst of garlic flavour with a slight crunchy texture from the breadcrumbs. The calamari was perfectly cooked, not gummy and paired well with the two sauces: tomato and lemon aioli. For the main course, we ordered the carne pizza, which was delicious. It was loaded with a variety of meat toppings and the crust was crispy, but not over cooked. For drinks, we ordered a strawberry rose and spicy cucumber margarita. The strawberry rose had a refreshing sweetness with a subtle floral note, while the spicy had a refreshing kick to it. Overall, it's a fantastic spot with delicious food packed with flavour and tasty drinks!

Early Mother's Day brunch with my family. I got the Cajun shrimp and grits. Shrimp was cooked perfectly. I wish it had a little more heat to it since it was cajun. Sercing size was huge. Way more grits than I could eat. My son, who is 7, really enjoyed the cheese pizza. The Fiance got the biscuit and gravy. The biscuit was like a bread pudding concept covered in herbs. The gravy was flavorful he at all of it!! The fried risotto balls were a good start to our brunch. Crispy on the outside and creamy cheesy goodness on the inside. Loved the R&B music playing. We will be back!! I need to try the pizzas!!

The Petite Filet was phenomenal! Ahi tuna tacos and avocado bruschetta appetizers were so fresh and flavorful. Forno is our new favorite! Our server was HILARIOUS and gave unparalleled service! We made sure to stop by the host stand and speak to the FOH manager to commend him on our experience. Lastly, the staff is doing a wonderful job with all COVID related procedures. Masks, gloves, dividers for tables and at the bar. Servers put a fresh pair of gloves on with each food delivery and anytime interacting with our table. Great job!

Although some of the places in the short North are quiet this place was filled to the gill. Always a great time here.

Went for a. brunch with a few friends for my birthday. I had the chicken and waffles and we also got the arancini for the table. Food was fantastic and they even brought me an alcoholic strawberry shot and lit a sparkler on a bottle for my birthday. Was a lovely time and they took steps to distance us for covid guidelines including plastic dividers between tables.

I will always recommend this place to someone! The food is fantastic! The staff is so amazing, the waitress i had was so sweet and she had great energy. It’s so beautiful on the inside. It’s such a romantic place too. A great date night spot.

One of my favorite spots to frequent! I love finding any reason to go and just enjoy the atmosphere. The goal is to become a regular and try their brunch one day, you just can’t beat the happy hour though. Either way, I always enjoy my time and the service I receive when I’m there. I happen to be here at a conference and we went to this restaurant today during our break, after finding out that they have Chicken and Waffles for brunch. We sat at the bar, because it was a 45 minute wait otherwise, but the server was nice enough and there was an additional server/bartender who is a Black lady and she tended to us as well if our server wasn't available. Anyway, this was THEE MOST GENTRIFIED chicken and waffles I've ever had in my life. The chicken was seasoned well enough and it was a boneless chicken breast (which was the only option) but they served it on top of the waffle along with a great deal of arugula... and poured syrup over it. I don't like sweet chicken... but it was far better than the waffle. The waffle was the hard, crunchy Belgium waffles and then the syrup was... smoky. I guess they put seasoning in the syrup or something???? Idk. It wasn't good though and I couldn't eat it. Thankfully, I ordered a side of eggs and they were fine. Maybe other food there is good, but this wasn't it... for me.

Forno easily makes the list for having one of the best happy hours in Columbus. They have such a wide selection of drinks and food choose from for such a great price. Their whole appetizer list, pizzas and house cocktails are half off, which is so nice considering other places usually pick just a few items to include as part of their happy hour. What I had the last time was the garlic shrimp, brasato, arancini and a strawberry rose cocktail to top it off. YUM.

Ordered takeout for brunch this weekend and needed gluten free because my wife has celiac disease. Whoever took my order said if it was marked on the menu it would be gluten free and safe from cross contamination. But something we ordered had gluten because my wife has been sick for two days. Food tasted good and the gluten free bread and breakfast pizza crust seemed too good to be gluten free but now I’m afraid that it wasn’t gluten free. ☹️ Just be very careful if you eat here with food allergies and triple check with the staff before accepting anything.

Our family of eight went to celebrate a birthday. The service was great. The food was good. However, the portions seemed very small. The girl that delivered our food basically slammed each plate on the table in front of us. Not sure why. She seemed to release, one side of the plate, high in the air, thus making a loud sound with each and every plate delivered. To the point where I thought she might crack a couple plates. Our server was very attentive. We spent almost $300, however I left hungry because the portion size seem very small to me. I sent a message to the restaurant a few days later, and have yet to hear back from them. It has been over a week now. They are either not receiving messages or just simply did not care.

The food was amazing. Next time I'll be back with my coworkers. The bill was reasonable.

The food was great, however our waitress had far too many tables. She never checked on us until we were done eating. She brought 1 napkin when two of us were dining. The only reason I give 3 stars is because I've dined there 2 times previously and received great service. If you're Covid cautious I do not recommend dining here. Definitely not adequate social distancing here.

Great atmosphere

The chicken and waffle is a MUST order. The atmosphere is friendly, and the view of High Street is nice. The food is on the pricier side and the portion sizes are small, but I recommend it.

Great food, awesome service. We wandered in at Happy Hour and were so lucky we did! Half price drinks, pizzas and apps. It was a great experience. The mussels were delicious. The pizzas were crispy and cheesy. I had the burger and it was cooked the way I asked for it and tasted amazing. Highly recommend! You can make reservations if you'd like (if you have a large party you might want to) but as a party of 3 we got right in at 4:40 on a Monday.

I witnessed a associate who was cooking on the back sample my Alfredo pasta and take his mask off and chewing . When I asked about it , he denied it and then I was advised they would remove it from my bill as a customer service . I could understand if it was a quality check But no reason was provided, only dirty looks. In addition I know the manager a heavy set man in a blue suit seen my dismay with the matter but never came to apologize , or discuss it . I felt as if he assumed by the way I was dressed at the time or etc that I wasn’t worth speaking to . I actually own my own company and visit frequently to the area and will be making sure not to recommend this establishment .

Wife and I went for late night food after a Saturday night event. The menu was pizza only, but they were good. We split the Prosciutto and Chicken Alfredo pizzas and both were tasty. Still wish there were some other app-style items on the Late Night menu. I'd still go back for the pizza.

We went on a Monday afternoon I believe. This place is beautiful, let’s begin there. The restrooms are clean. We sat close to the wrap around bar. We shared a pizza, the pie was pretty good! The cheese was perfect. I got the salmon& root veggies and my date got the chicken& veggies. We asked that the chicken be cooked a bit longer than usual and made spicy if possible. If was a little undercooked and no spice.Or fries as appealing as they looked were cold. Our waiter was so hospitable and attentive! She made sure we had everything we needed and checked on us but didn’t hover.

Emily was my server tonight and she was wonderful. Amazing recommendations and I could not have been happier with my meal, the pizza was insane with the white balsamic vinegar reduction (specifically recommended by her) and the brussel sprouts were delicious as well. I really enjoyed the atmosphere, food and service. I would highly recommend and come back in a heartbeat. Thank you for a lovely evening!

No complaints! Fun, classy atmosphere and great service. We tried their stone fired pizza for an entrée and the calamari as an appetizer. Serving sizes are pretty big, they don't skimp on food. Cocktails were a highlight, great menu of Forno-specific drinks, really creative and flavor-forward. My only critique is that the seating arrangements are cramped. My husband and I were seated at a two-person table by one of the street-facing windows, and the back of my chair was pressed against the back of the diner's chair behind me! Not the worst, but could be inconvenient to some diners. Overall, great experience. They even brought out a free dessert since we were there celebrating!

All around, Forno was good. Appetizer was good. Entree was good. Service was good. Location and patio was great. I did not get that extra little pizzazz some other places give me that warrants the 5 stars. Started with the Crispy Rice - fried risotto, spicy ahi tuna, sweet soy, jalapeno, pickled ginger with a sprinkle of micro greens. Crispy risotto is close to a tater tot texture and taste - slap a little ahi tuna on it with the soy, ginger, jalapeno, micro greens and spicy mayo type sauce. Not bad. Cajun Shrimp + Grits were good as well. Portion size was legit. And you would think, grits deserves a sh*t ton of butter and cheese, how can it not taste good and be amazing. But grits take time and these did not seem to be cooked to the creamy expectations my heart desires. The shrimp were delicious. Flavor was on point. Definitely want to explore the menu, this is a restaurant worth scoping out.

Came here for brunch with a group (10 guests) and they seated us quickly in such a cute, cozy little spot. Service was quick and friendly. The food and cocktail were both delicious. Definitely a spot I'd try again!
