I've been to this location twice, both times Paige was very, very rude. We were seated at a dirty table and was told someone would come clean the table. We waited almost 20 min. It was TERRIBLE!!!!!!!! When the manager Bo spoke with her, she was rude to him too. We were gong to leave but didn't want to miss the Cavs game. I'm definitely going to contact the general manager about our experience. Below is a picture of the table we were seated and Paige never came to clean the table. As I read the previous reviews she was probably their waitress too.

Came here for a footlong chili dog. I can understand that they were out of hot dog buns so it was on a sub bun but this is the saddest driest hot dog I've ever seen in my life it tasted like burnt leather.

We called multiple places around the area looking for a place to hold a celebration of life for a friend we lost, Joe's was the only place that 1) wasn't going to charge us a arm and leg, as a matter of fact they didn't charge us extra at all and 2) had availability. We had at least 50 people at one time and the service we received was absolutely great, food was amazing. The staff were all great and had wonderful attitudes, me and the wife have already discussed going back and we can't wait. Thank you guys so much

I’ve ordered from this place a few times through dd and I order the same exact thing every time it’s only been one time it was made correctly and had all my sauces that I was charged for. Today was my last straw I ordered sauces that they charge for they weren’t there just like all the other time but I was charged I called into the store they said they put the sauces in the bag but some how they never make it to my home and they didn’t offer anything to make it right not even an apology. The sliders have cheese one day the next there’s none I guess whoever is cooking that day decides what they want you to have and sends it instead of what I ordered I won’t be ordering from here again absolutely ridiculous. Update the night manger told me I need to contact DD which I did but it’s not a DD problem it’s a restaurant problem I’m pretty certain DD isn’t taking sauces out the bag and leaving the food you all don’t ever get the order correct accountability and an apology wouldn’t been amazing.won’t be getting money from me ever again

Before the new owner took over this was an excellent place to go, however now the bar has become a true free-for-all. There is no Hostess to seat you they never have enough waitresses staff has become rude self-absorbed and the bartenders are constantly drinking behind the bar. They are so lazy that they will not even pick up the phone to take a carry-out order. They literally picked the phone up and left it off the hook so that they didn't have to deal with me. If I could give this place - Stars I would! They are the rudest most unfriendly and I need to add unclean place you could possibly go the last two times I visited my table was sticky! I would recommend you go to the Sheetz gas station and get food before you visit this horrible horrible place!

Tried to get a beer after work with the crew. Sat there for 20 minutes as the staff passed by trying to not make eye contact. Wasn't even busy but whatever. Place seemed mediocre and plastic. Find a better bar.

This bar has a shooting every month. They have replaced their front glass three times this year already from bullet holes. The bartenders aren't very friendly here either, find another place to swallow your sorrows

Worse customer service I have ever seen in my life. Mind you I’m a dasher and trying to get the customer some hot food for this cold night. I’m taking my time out to share how dirty this place is a long with how poorly they treat carry out orders and customers. Told me the order would be ready in 5 min and 40 min later it still wasn’t ready and in between time they walk past me and say absolutely nothing. As I watch nobody sanitize tables etc… only place it’s good for is COVID.

This was my second time at Joes this week. The first time, Monday, I went with a friend, not one employee, including our waitress smiled one time and service was very slow to the point we left after we ate and went to another bar. Tonight I called in 12 boneless wings and went to pick them up, stood at the bar for 10 mins before the bartended even looked at me, didn't say a word, and then walked away. Two people came in and sat down beside me. The bartender, again, walked right past me, still with no acknowledgement, and served the people that came in 10 mins after me. I said "excuse me" and was ignored. So I walked around the bar, to the male that was working and chatting with a customer and said "Excuse me, I’ve been here for 10 mins without even an acknowledgement, can I just pick up my wings?" I gave him my name, he went to the back for 5 mins, came back out to the bar area, and proceeded to talk to the same customer he was talking to before I approached him, without even saying a word to me, so I left. Horrible customer service to say the least. Definitely won’t be back.

I was being discriminated for being a deaf person, the lady server refused to come to my table for 15 minutes just because she did not want to write back and forth with me, then the manager took over to serve us but he did not make it right. He kept saying he knows I was being discriminated but kept coming up with excuses for the lady server. The manager even allowed that lady server to down a few beers and a few shots on the duty.

Super friendly staff and very attentive! My drink stayed full and the food was delicious. They hit every mark as far as making sure we got what we needed. I always have a great time here.

I recently visited Joe's Pub & Grille, also known as Average Joe's, in New Albany, Ohio. From the outside, it seemed like a typical sports bar and grill. However, my experience left much to be desired. Firstly, the ambiance was confusing, to say the least. The loud, obscure hip hop music playing made it difficult to grasp that I was in a sports bar (i.e., That Mexican OT, Doja Cat, etc.). It seemed like they were trying to cater to a different crowd, which didn't align with the local demographic. Maybe why they had six customers on a Thursday night. On top of that, the lack of craft beer options was disappointing for a place that bills itself as a pub. The beer selection was limited to domestic and generic options. I ordered the Southwestern Chicken Salad, which came smothered in sauce and had an excessive amount of sauce on the side. The portion was enormous, enough for two or three people, which was not what I expected from a salad. Overall, if Joe's Pub & Grille wants to succeed as a sports bar and grille in New Albany, they need to rethink their approach. It feels like they are trying to appeal to a different crowd with their music and lack of craft beer. It was a disappointing experience, and I hope they consider making some changes to better align with the local demographic. Perhaps Robert Irvine and the Restaurant Impossible team can help them find themselves.

The food was average nothing spectacular and the drinks were standard. I felt like the service was extremely slow but not to the fault of the server who was the only one working on the entire floor because his coworker had called out and he was trying to run the entire show. I felt that it should have been the responsibility of the manager to step in and help or pull one of the bartenders or maybe another staff member who was busy just loitering behind the bar because there were two bartenders and one other person just standing there. There were several tables that were not bust and quite a few receipts with tips still laying on the tables when we left. I realized that finding employees responsible enough to show up for work is not easy these days but I feel the situation was not of good management

I have been here about 3xs nice atmosphere okay bar food and drinks are good. The last time I was there though it was a different bartender not very pleasant. Was chatty with I am assuming the regs but not very attentive to me at least. So I wont being going back because of that reason as I wouldnt want to deal with her. Other than that though this is a pretty okay place to get a drink.

I've been here several times now. Good food and good atmosphere as well as some pull tabs if you're feeling it with touch tunes where you can request your own songs. I usually go for the wings or the Buffalo chicken pizza. This time, the service was a little slower, but they were behind the bar the whole time, so harder for them to get to the tables, which I could understand.

This place has gone seriously down hill over the past few years. Staff is rude and doesn’t want to do their job unless you’re a “regular”. Just left; ordered apps and soft drinks, wanted to order food & drinks... Waited 40mins for someone to come back and take our order. At that point it was time to go somewhere else because it wasn’t that busy, but the bartender & waitress kept running to the bathroom to be on their phones. Moral of the review, go somewhere else, your time is worth more than being ignored!!!

If the question is: "Is there a better bar and grill in the Westerville area than Joe's?". The answer, in my humble opinion, is name another. If you enjoy being ignored at the bar, over priced drinks and food so over cooked and dry that it is impossible to choke down without the beers that are not forthcoming. It is very obvious that the bar keeps are part of the regular click. Hey if you are already part of that group you are not reading this. If you are not a regular you should pass. The wait staff is so busy making time with their friends you will not get noticed, served in a timely manner or a smile or a kind word. Your presence will be an inturpution of the staffs social time!!!

Really good service. Wings Sunday deal 10/$10. Good size wings. The sauce I got was ok nothing special. Audio on the game was pretty loud so hard to talk to people.

I had a great time when I visited. We sat outside and enjoyed the musician who sang and chatted with us while we were there. Our waitress was great. She mentioned that it was her first day and she was the only server. In spite of all that she was dealing with, her service and warmth were AMAZING.. she was kind and attentive and made our evening enjoyable.

Pretty decent bar. They play the music a little loud, which works for some, but not everyone. The wings were tasty, and the bartender was very friendly.
