Excellent food, service and atmosphere! The decor, lighting and games make this a really good place to go. The menu is awesome and filled with wonderful drinks like the Pineapple Smash (pictured) which was delightful. The food was excellent! I made my own custom Melt of: cheddar and pepper jack cheese, letter, tomatoes, spinach, sautéed onions, pulled beef and ham. Accompanied with tasty mashed garlic potatoes (you have to request this on the side) and a great salad. I will be coming back with friends as I didn't have much time and the time due to having to go back to the Arnold Classic at 7, but it was worth it! Thank you Melt.

The good: The server was nice, the atmosphere was good, my beer was cold. The bad: I understand they wanted the menu to be cute and fun, but I found it very confusing. The server really had to explain it, and I still didn't think it was straight forward. OK, it's sandwiches. I got a whole fish sandwich with fries ($17.50), which took a while to come out of the kitchen. The fries were lukewarm at best, and I only ate half of what I would say was not very good. My wife only ate half of her mushroom sandwich as well. I found nothing special about the place in general, it's overpriced and I will not return.

Huuuge portions of food, even when you order half a sandwich. I tried a Leviathan drink and although it looked murky and gross, it was delicious! Not my favorite grilled cheese place, but their menu is impressive and there is something for everyone. Very spacious and well decorated.

If you're looking for some really amazing food for a great price on the short north, this is the place to go! They have some absolutely incredible sandwiches and melts. The Mac and cheese was also amazing, they're pretty large portions too. There's definitely something for everyone here. There's so many items I wanted to try and I cannot wait to come back!

Jennifer was great! The food was delicious. This was our first time here and we all loved it. We ordered so much food this are not in these photos. My husband has them on his phone of all 10 of our plates. We will be back for sure.

Went at 5, unfortunately didn't get seated until 530 with very few people in the place. Had to make a call and let my server know I would have to step away from the table to make the call due to a loud child at a table near me (no fault of the child just needed to make a business call and the little one in the back wouldn't work). Came back to my table completely cleared, only to wait another 40 minutes for my food to come. In all it was 1.5 hours to eat a single meal and not a single refill on my drink. I understand busy but it wasn't, and the service was beyond disappointing . Usually great food but honestly wont be going back.

Super fun place! Their sandwiches were a hit and the Mac and cheese was quality. We got the Monte Cristo sandwich and it was a little disappointing... a glorified hot ham and cheese. But everything else was very good! They have some old games you can play if you have quarters which was fun too. A fun family night if you check out Rocket Fizz after dinner!

This is a fun place with big sandwiches and large orders of fries. The deep fried wedge you see is their mac & cheese "bites." My friends and I ordered the Wakin Bacon, Eggplant Parm and Mushroom Melt. The mushroom melt was the hands down winner. Cheesy and delicious, but not at all heavy. The fresh spinach gave the sandwich texture and freshness. Pinball games are fun. I cannot remember the name of the cocktail I had, but it had Bullet Rye and strawberry. It was great!

I got the Monte Cristo. It was good, but my wife's bbq pork one was way better. The waiter (or cook staff) was a bit slower with service, but the manager made up for this. Everyone was friendly. I would definitely go back.

Great first time experience, didn't get a chance to play the pinball machines but I would have. The food was excellent! Most difficult part was choosing from an extensive menu which is never a bad thing. Food pics are of the fried pickle appetizer, peanut butter and bacon burger, and BBQ burger.

Loved it. The Hangover Fries are amazing. Get them. Also their drink/cocktail selection was really cool and all the ones we had were delicious. They also have a lot of Vegan options and offered us a Vegan menu alongside the regular menu. If you are in a wheelchair, be a little careful with getting into the building as the front door has a small lip. My wife had some trouble getting over it.

Everytime I find myself in Columbus, I make sure to find my way to Melt. This place just hits it out of the park. The ambience is second to none - it's fun, inviting, lively... it's certainly chaotic but well thought out and clever with plenty of attention to detail everywhere. The food is almost as creative as the environment, everything I've had thus far has exceeded expectations, and if you leave hungry you have only yourself to blame. If you're passing through and only have time for one stop, look no further - this is where you want to be!

Ordered a vegan cheddar cheese melt with avocado. Never got my mac and cheese I ordered with it, despite the upcharge being $3.

An amazing atmosphere, but definitely go there prepared to eat a large portion. Even the halves are huge. The apps are delicious! Pictured: Winner Winner Chicken Dinner (Half)

My first time to melt tonight. I had a cactus mule. We couldn't figure out what sandwich we wanted and we ordered a bunch of appetizers we decided to just stick with the appetizers. They filled us up fast. There are SO many choices to choose from, it was a bit overwhelming. 😂

Best dinner in a while, wife and I shared the Cuban War Pig and fries which was absolutely amazing (wife agrees). Kids had 2 half Kindergartens w/ cheddar and fries which they really liked. Also got an order of jumbo wings w/ spicy thai chili lime sauce (can I say delicious?). We will be back! If in Columbus, goooo!

I just had their Chicken Parm sandwich and hooooooot damn was it good. The bread was seasoned well, the chicken was crispy and juicy, and the first bite was fantastic only to be beaten by the second. Fantastic sandwich.

Awesome somewhat local chain restaurant that meat eaters and vegans can both enjoy! Tons of options, a cool vibe, and friendly staff....I'll def be back to try more of the menu!

This place was magical and so delicious. Got the chicken parmesan grilled cheese and my friend got the same with vegan chicken and we were both impressed with how great it tasted. Vegan hangover fries are amazing and their mac n cheese is bomb. We ate in the restaurant once and ordered it via Door Dash again to our hotel while we were in town because it was so good. Will recommend to anyone traveling in the Columbus area.

The service was great! We had a group of about 25 people and they were able to get us right in. The waitresses we're amazing at keeping the orders straight. No complaints from my end. I would highly recommend this place to anyone contemplating going.

Yes this place is pricey and can be noisy inside but its well worth it. From the gentleman that answered my call about how busy they were and replying "Look forward to seeing you", to our server Carter who was very patient with us, Melt is a fun and tasty place to visit. They have lots of gluten free and veggie/vegan options which are great for our family. This is full on comfort food. I went for a sandwich and fries. My food was served very hot and pretty fast, (under 20 min). Carter checked on us regularly and took care of to-go boxes and the check when we were done. Might not be the best place for little kids, (its in the short north and can be busy, with lots of tv's and loud music) and parking is terrible, (it will take some circling to find a spot). All that aside, I still recommend this restaurant. You will be full when you leave!

Excellent take if you're in the area. Solid casual lunch with the most unique menu. From starters to drinks to entrees they offer a ton. It's a bit trendy for the day to day crowd. But comfortable enough to serve an older crowd or family easily. They have a fairly stocked bar with an obnoxious offering of local craft beers. Service was attentive and food was excellent. Minus 1 star due to price and geography. There is no convenient parking unless you plan to walk a bit. Nice weather day walking about? Perfect. 4/5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I'll return definitely on a warmer day.

Normally I love going here and it’s one of my favorites, but since COVID I haven’t been in a while. I got take out and I was really disappointed. They handed me a bag that looked too small so I checked and they forgot a salad. Once I got home I saw there were no fries with either of my sandwiches, but it was too late. Really would have expected better than forgetting the sides that you pay for with the sandwich.

I've only been here a few times but it's never been a disappointment! Their food is amazing! And the service is great! If you're in the city stop by for a meal you won't regret.

Came here on a Friday night to celebrate a new job for someone. The dining room has appropriate distanced tables, staff is taking the mask and cleaning requirements of Columbus seriously. The wait staff was really on top of it and the food is in huge portions. We started with some fried pickles and then orders a mixture of sandwiches, each of us getting something different. For myself, it was the Kindergarten with tomato basil soup and some fries. The sandwich came out with cheese oozing and hot, the soup vas very thick, and the fires were OK. Everyone enjoyed their food and the service was spot on. Our waitress (Carly) was great working the table - knowledgeable about the food and the beer selection. Even had a good suggestion for one of the beers they were out of. We will look forward to coming back.

Very neat place. Cool little gaming area as you walk in. Service was great! Get the sampler combo, you won’t regret! Could even do it as a meal. Everything was very yummy and came out hot.

This place is definitely not cheap, but the food is flipping amazing and totally worth every penny. We're considering making the 4 hour trip to Columbus specifically for a meal in the Spring. Let's get this franchise into Central Kentucky ASAP!!
