Place is always amazing. Bartender was very attentive and drinks were reasonably priced. The chips and queso with the mild salsa were probably the best I've had anywhere in a while. Great ambiance and it was great weather to sit at the bar with the windows open to the street.

I have found my self at Bakers Field many times. The food is fantastic and the ambiance is very nice. They have daily deals so its always worth it to go. I highly recommend the short rib queso, and the taco selection is very good with lots of options. Below I got the chicken taquitos and they were very good. Would recommend to anybody looking for a nice dinner or a good place to drink.

Buck is a fantastic attentive bartender. Stopped in after work and a long drive from Canton Ohio for taco Tuesday. Short ribs queso braised short ribs pick up white onion Crema radish case of fresco, delicious. Fish crispy fish Tabasco lime sauce citrus cilantro slaw delicious had to order some to go Baja shrimp with chipotle lime Crema guacamole red cabbage pickle Fresno chive it’s OK the short rib taco nothing to write home about. Top with two shots of tequila a little MØ and some IPA but it was all great I think the pricing even on taco Tuesday for two OK

The margarita I had wasn’t very strong and I had to order two doubles of patron to make it taste right... the fish was pretty good but stuffed with too much sauce. The carnitas were dry and crispy. I’m a chef and they overcooked them. The ambience and atmosphere is nice and the service was fare.

Unfortunately a total disappointment Order 3 tacos that the server liked (and sounded good) Short rib (tender and FLAVORLESS) Shrimp (horrible) (the worst) Al Pastor (really good pineapple. That's it.) I'm not sure if it was this bad because it was right before closing or because the recipes lack the proper seasoning. The chips and queso were just fine and the drinks were cool though. I like the atmosphere but the food need work...

Pretty good taco spot for Short North! The guacamole was so yummy, however, the green salsa was too runny and the red was too smoky for my liking. Their tacos were absolutely so good! The chicken Diablo was super spicy but I loved it. Their mahi and shrimp tacos were also probably some of the better ones we tried! Inside atmosphere was kind of dark, but I really liked their patio seating.

Awesome short rib queso! I got chicken taquitos & they were great. Sauce was on point. Highly recommend!

The food was very good, especially the rojo sauce and short rib tacos. The Pollo Rojo taco was also quite good. The Pollo Verde taco was shredded chicken and not as good as the Rojo. Service was pretty slow even though they were not busy. It appears our server was serving all/most of the tables and bartending.

The pineapple margarita was fantastic, chips and guacamole..spot on. Tacos... the flavor of the meats used was great, all well seasoned which combined with the fresh toppings was fantastic. The have 1 taco, Cuitlacoche, pronounced whea LA coach e'.., but whatever. It's a sweet corn fungas, hard to find but friking awesome. Service was great.

We started off with The Trio which came with Chips, Guacamole, Rojo, Verde Salsas. For our main course we had Carnitas Taquitos and Chicken Taquitos. The service was great, the atmosphere was fun and the food was great.

The queso was the highlight of this experience. So flavorful and indulgent. We also enjoyed the tacos and guacamole. We had the fish, portobello, and street corn tacos. Great to find a space that accommodates omnivores and vegetarians alike. Loved that you can make your margarita spicy with jalapenos (pictured here).

My wife and I slipped in for some late night chips and queso dip! Our server Paige gave us amazing service and recommendations! Some of the better margaritas we’ve ordered!

Popped in for dinner while on a travel job in Columbus. Seriously good margarita, and excellent tacos. Didn’t have any expectations going in, but so glad I did! Service was kind and quick.

Certainly worth a visit, judge for yourself... Chips are warm, salsas are good, guac not bad. When they say spicy it’s spicy, unlike a lot of places their “hot” is medium at best. The tacos were pretty good, but like in Mexico with similar sized tortillas they aren’t as busy or full, so while I appreciate the portion it’s a bit over stuffed, also it’s not exactly a sit down restaurant on the offset, it’s as much a bar as a taco joint, so it’s a little grungy I guess. That said the drinks while good seem low on alcohol, I can’t imagine the bartender is pinching the alcohol content but was been trained to do so, I’ve seen other comments about it. That’s that!

First time coming to Bakersfield. Came with my friend it was her birthday if you want to go out. The tacos are amazing! We bought the Al pastor, Baja and carnitas. And I got the pineapple margarita and she got I think the Bakersfield margarita. Oh and the guac and chips are perfect!! Delish will definitely go back and get more guac and chips and pineapple margarita and Baja shrimp tacos so delish.

Hipster taco place reflected by the price- ~$4.50/taco, they were almost bite sized. Great location near the convention centre street, gotta give props that they accommodated a large group(10) with short notice phone reservation on the walk over.

Fun bar and restaurant with great tequila options. The tacos were very good and the loaded cheese dip was very insanely good. Fun spot to have a drink and get some quality food on a work trip. In the Short North area of Columbus.

a laid back atmosphere. The Short Rib Queso dip is a must. My fiance and I really enjoyed our bartender (Grant) and the Kitchen manager (Daniel). The service was excellent. So good we went back the next day. The food is good.

Tacos were good, but our pineapple margaritas had zero alcohol. Just tasted like pineapple juice. Our server also disappeared for an hour.

We had Bakerfield cater our party. The food was very good, but we asked for enough food for 40 people. What they gave up was enough for 80 to 100. 10 big bags of chips?? 165 taco wraps. Don't think it was intentional but they are in the business of catering. They could have given us half of what they gave us and it would have been enough. Feel like I spent twice as much as i should of. If you are going to get catering from them, be very specific on what you need

Portion sizes are on the smaller end. Tacos are more like "street" size tacos and the taquitoes are three small taquitoes. Marg's come in a boot. Food is great however and service was good. We parked in the parking garage a few blocks down by north market and walked.

Came here after attending a conference ad it was the perfect end to the day and easily walkable. Leyla was our waitress and was absolutely the best! Her recommendations were spot on, and she was very attentive. If I'm ever back in Columbus, I will visit again.

The food was fantastic, seriously! The salsa, both green and red were out of bounds. We had three tacos, all of which were tasty. Zoe the manager was sweet and very proud of the restaurant (which is a great sign). The restaurant itself was beautiful. Very cool aesthetic. If I’m in Columbus again, would unquestionably be back. PS J$ raves about the classic Bakersfield margarita.

You want tacos? This place has them, and they are phenomenal. Alongside that, the waitresses and drinks that were served for us were great. We're visiting from Canada and this is definitely a place we're heading and suggesting to people coming to Columbus.

Bakersfield is always a good pick when you’re craving tacos and margaritas. Every time I go the service is always awesome and the food is delicious. I also love that the ambiance is upbeat, very clean, and and good vibes. My favorite tacos are the short rib, Baja shrimp, and fish tacos but you can’t go wrong with any of them. Also, definitely get the queso and guac if you’re craving an appetizer. Both are so good! The spicy margarita is also insanely delicious. It is not very spicy but the flavor is to die for. I’ve came here with friends, family, all different times of the week and no matter who you’re with or what you’re occasion is, this place never disappoints.

Exceptional food and service. I enjoyed the ambiance and the presentation was great. The lighting was too low at first, but made eating alot more enjoyable and felt more private.

Really cool spot with a good whiskey selection. My only issue was the ice cube was non existent. If you’re going to call yourself a whiskey bar you should probably have proper ice cubes. The tacos were pretty tasty, maybe throw the shell on the grill though quick, better when they are warm. Still really Liked the place and would come back.

A fun and lively place. The margaritas were great... and perhaps a bit pricey. The tacos are all sold individually and are slightly smaller than those at Taco Bell so you can taste a lot of different flavors. All we had were great.

Delicious salad and pitcher of margaritas! Had great customer service as well. Make sure to order more tacos than you're hungry for because they are SMALL. Definitely street taco style, so kind of pricey for the size, but delicious!

Located in Downtown Columbus OH. Bakersfield offers the Best Shrimp Tacos, Fish Tacos, Short Rib Tacos & Chicken Blue Corn Taquitos in CBus! They have the Largest selection of Tequilas & Whiskey/Bourbons I've ever seen! Be Aware...The Tacos are Teeny Tiny Street Tacos. I could probably eat 4 or 5. Hubby got 2 Tacos & Taquitos; said it was more filling. That's a Watermelon Margarita w a Salt Rim. Do urself a favor & drink it with the salt! Goes down like a summer drink should. I could prob drink 3 of them. But not. They're Pricey at $10. If Cilantro tastes like Soap to u, like it does me; u can order w/out it. I picked it off. Lol Our Server was in Kat & she's Awesome! I met the GM, Heidi and she's Awesome too! We'll Definitely be going back for more!

Awesome fish and shrimp tacos. Try the roasted cauliflower. Best with salsa Verde. Margaritas looked good. Maybe next time.
