Old school spot with a few different spots including a great patio and bar area to hang out. Our bartender was very friendly, helpful and welcoming.

Cool older bar with character. Friendly diverse crowd. Bartenders were very attentive. Again it’s an older place so the layout is a bit funky. Some areas are small, some narrow. Not a big deal though. Adds to the feel in a way.

Had a good time there aside from someone whom stole nearly 100.00 off the bar as I was talking to whom sat beside me. Kinda funny nobody was to my left other than the bartender when this happened guess it my fault for leaving my cash on the bar with my drink,phone.

It would be a 1 star but the bartender was so smoking hot its a 10, 10 I said!

Really wanted to enjoy this place, but first impressions are everything. The bartender acted like she couldn't be bothered, and then the drinks were weak and bland. I'm not a fan of the cash only payments either. The only redeeming things were the billiard tables and the outdoor seating area with the firepit, which is located just outside the entrance - so you can make a quick escape from the obnoxiously drunk patrons. Can't say we'll be back anytime soon.

Some people would call this a dive bar, but the atmosphere is better than that. You can sit by the fireplace and sip wine, or go to the back and shoot pool, as well as join the crowd at the bar. They have a great patio for warmer months. The downside is they only take cash, so be prepared to bring that if you visit here.

Love hanging out here; wish I was able to more often. Drinks are reasonably priced and everyone I've encountered have been friendly. Laid back environment.

A little hole in the wall that you can have a ton of fun at. Pool tables, dart boards, a primo fire place and equally relaxing indoor and outdoor patios.

The best heated smoking patio in Columbus. Well cocktails are crazy cheap. Bucket deals that come with 6 bottles. Great food truck they have partnered with. 2 great pool tables with wood racks. Good cues and chalk. Fireplace with lots of leather chairs and tables. Free darts, beer pong, and ring toss (ring on a string). Touch Tunes and an ATM. Cash bar. One of the best bars in Columbus.

Drinks are great but DONT EAT THERE! The kitchen is separate. I asked and paid in advance for a Pizza. I got it late. And it was a burnt pizza. When mentioned, i was told that is how it is. The cheese was so hot it scalded my palate. So much so that I'm unable to eat normally after 48 hours! So enjoy your drinks, but think again about buying food there! 😢😢😢

Just an absolutely fantastic bar, with great atmosphere, fun games, awesome bartenders, and a really fun, energetic, and outgoing crowd. The fire place is an awesome touch, and I'll absolutely be returning on my next visit to Columbus.

Very laid back atmosphere, but it was small, so a little crowded. There was games to entertain you and a fire pit outside to lounge by.

A local watering hole that has been around for decades. There's passable bar food available from a food truck. Bartender takes good care of you on drinks. It has a 50s - 70s kind of old school ambiance. It was fun to stop back in for a visit.

Seemed like a good dive bar, then the bartender tried to rip me off, not once but twice. Second time let her get away with taking 5 bucks. Left through the side door, some guy with 2 girls followed me out . Yeah, they were trying to roll me. Sketchy place at best.

The Ruck is a staple of the community. Great service, good prices, cozy atmosphere. It's a nice quiet spot that is great to grab some drinks and catch up with friends.

Not for everyone but if it’s for you then you’re probably already going there. Great drink prices and just enough dirt to make you feel at home.

We went for karaoke and had a great time! Loved the pizza and the bartenders were amazing! If you like stepping through a wormhole into the 70's, this is the place for you!

They're cash only, so be prepared unless you want to pay ATM fees for their on-site machine. Otherwise, drinks are always good and the atmosphere is fun. Friday night karaoke is extremely loud, so if you're planning on having a conversation with anybody, you'll have to do so outside.

Awesome staff, love the patio areas and fireplaces make it so cozy and inviting. We make this our go to every time we get out.

Staff is really nice, nice selection of alcohol, really nice exterior and interior design, furniture, everything. Definitely a place to grab a few drinks, and hangout, will definitely return

I’ve always been curious and finally stopped in to check it out. This old bar is unrefined, cash only, and was a great place to grab a beer and hang out. Their fire pit was on and comfortable as we met new friends and had a great time. Good prices on top of it all.

Great crowd and prices. It's not an upscale place by any means, but I have always enjoyed my visits. You have to play the ring game!

Initially I love the atmosphere. Great bartenders till about 8:00 went up to another beer stood in line behind patron that was ordering a drink at the end of the bar. The bartender finished with the patron. Look at me and walked away to do some dishwashing. One of the gentleman I was shooting pool with came up behind me with a Ziploc bag. I made a joke about his bag. We both laughed our laughter. Caught her attention on her approach back to the end of the bar where we both stood. Went to address the patron that came up after me. So I jumped in and said I would like to another beer since every bar I have ever been to has always been first come first serve. So anyway, I'm waiting for my drink to come back. She actually brought this gentlemen's bag of ice first so at that point I was done with the bar. Well at least that bartender a teammate called the manager. Let them know. Not sure the outcome. No one ever questioned me but I will have to say this is a nice establishment. You cannot control every employee and every employee does not have the intentions. The bar might be trying to convey. Please don't let my review discourage you from checking out the Ruckmoor Lounge, please be your own judge.
