The worst experience I have ever had. This was all due to the bartender, Terry H. If you want good service you won't find it with Terry H behind the bar. Read further for more detail. We were in town for a family event and decided to go to Hoof Hearted Brewery, have some beers and catch up. We grabbed the first table next to the bar. We walked up to the bar, ordered our beers and carried them to our unclean table. My brother bought the first round, which ended up being our only round of beers. Terry H came to our table and asked my brother if he really meant to put a line through the tip. My brother responded with, yes, I don't tip on a card, I tip with cash when I'm done. Terry H then went behind the bar and started telling other people how we didn't tip him. We decided to leave after finishing our one beer and to take our money elsewhere. Terry H then followed us outside to further press us about the tip or the lack of one at the purchase of the beer. After my experience at Hoof Hearted Brewery I would not recommend going to this establishment.

We called earlier to let them know we are more than 10 people. However, we had to wait ~10 min to the tables to be cleaned! Our waitress wasn’t friendly at all! At some point she threw the pens on the table!! To be fair beers are good and that’s the only I gave a stars. We all had burger week burgers and it was simply awful!!! She didn’t ask how we wanted our burgers and they were all almost-burnt! And she didn’t bring us more ketchup or mustard because kitchen was closed:) I don’t recommend it for anything rather that a beer.

The vibe here is lovely. I love the funky art style, beer names, and music they had going on. They have a lot of IPA's and DIPA's, which I love, so that was perfect for me. All of them were super good although my favorite was definitely Konkey Dong! The food here is a little expensive but SO worth it! The calamari was delicious, my burger was perfectly made and tasted incredible, and my partners salad was also a hit. To top of off the servers here are super cool and friendly.

This one won't be for everyone, but I loved it. Recreated early 90s vibe. Strong selection of hazy IPAs and heavily fruited beers (maybe too exotic for some). Killer happy hour, although appetizers would probably be on the pricey end without the discount. Reservations recommended if you'd like a table.

If you like beer, this place has an excellent and interesting selection of beers on tap to try. The place is pretty open and airy compared to most dark/stuffy bars, which is a nice change of pace.

So Hoof Hearted has always been a favorite of mine. Three reasons they have always had great beer and now offer a nice variety of styles. The food is awesome, fresh and uniquely crafted and although the menu has changed over the years it’s still great. THE ENVIRONMENT will bring out the inner 80s and 90s child of of us all. Few things to note with food is they have a brunch only menu and dinner menu and brunch goes pretty late into the day I know it’s 3:00pm on weekends. There are a few lunch options on the brunch menu but limited to no appetizers and sides. Beer this has always been one of my favorite places to drink at in OhIo and I know I can always find a beer there I like, however my last trip has changed me as I can not go to Hoof Hearted anymore without getting a hard cold brew lemonade!!

Loved this place! Went for Sunday brunch. The BELT was delish! So was the burger. Their beer is great and they make a good cocktail too. I got an old fashioned, it was perfect and only $9. The bartenders were knowledgeable and friendly. Overall a great experience. Loved the atmosphere as well.

Favorite brewery in Columbus thus far. Spectacular service. Young baseball bar back helped me out with some great suggestions. The chef behind the kitchen is very talented. Loved the menu. Wedgies and gemstone greens were perfect. Young woman at the front was extremely knowledgeable about the to go beers.

Awesome beer, terrible burger, not acceptable service! we went there during the burger week. The burger was so terrible, I haven’t tried their burger out of the burger week to see if it was because of the price or it has always the same quality. The beers were really good. I tried several of them and liked all of them. The service was terrible, a rude lady who didn’t have any patient or experience to work with a large group. Definitely won’t go there for food again.

Really enjoyed the sours, especially the Maxx profits, not hoppy at all. Lager, one more again, was also nice. girth Brooks stout was too dark, a bit soy saucy flavor. Had to move to the bar after 15 minutes to get service. Bartender was nice. Chicken and waffle not bad but waffle very dry.

The food was amazing and the beer was good. The bartender however…. He was more in talking and flirting with the blonde than taking care of the rest of the people. Also watched him drink 4 or 5 of the sample glasses in the 45 min I was there. Fortunately, the second bartender was picking up the slack for his coworker.

Very interesting spot indeed. Kind of pricey to be in Columbus, and the decor is super tacky. Oysters were super tiny but I was glad I didn't pay full price id be upset. They ran out of hot sauce. The waitress offered other sauces which apparently were horrible with oysters. They still charged for the sauce. (Yes, you pay for sauce here). I can understand the upscale charge, but this wasn't the case here. They want to be upscale but things hurt them in this department, such as their repulsive pun of a name or horrific art. The burger was good and on sale but I'd never come there and pay ridiculous prices for rude tacky gimmicks and service that treated me like I wasn't fancy enough to be there because they ain't that fancy themselves. My 15 dollar tiny drink was gross too.

I went with my Dad on a Sunday evening. The main interior is splendid and bustling with energy/cackling from the Italian Village young adults and hipsters. I drew a notice of the light blue bench upholstery- it's a bit of an eye sore to see the food stains. Please replace it soon so it can garner better appeal. The dinner selection was the fan favorite -- the Dad Bod Double Cheese burger. This is rather self explanatory and plain delicious. The cheddar on this stood out to me as it had well complimented the 4 ounce patties (done medium). I paired it with a side of robust and wholesome fries. I wish I had the extra stomach to imbibe the recently released 'Ever Stop to Think and Forget to Start Again'. The beast imperial stout is a "Double Mash Stout w/ Meadowfoam Honey, Tahitian & Madagascar Vanilla and Roasted Hazelnuts." Next time.

We were out in Columbus on vacation and wanted to visit a local brewery. This was definitely a good choice. The only negative I have is that there weren't any other beers besides fruit beers or IPAs. The food made up for it. My girlfriend got the tacos which you could pick four total from a list. She said they were good. I got the Cuban sandwich with fries which was good and definitely filling. The queso is something you must get though. It was thick and stayed on the chips. Also, the chips were amazing, we asked for the secret and were told they are just fried tortillas. The beers were different and looked to be the only two on the menu that weren't an IPA. They were good though. Finally, our waitress was awesome too. She was always checking on us to make sure we had what we needed. We would definitely come back again for the food.

69¢ wing night is a steal, especially with $3 pints. Even though they were busy, I got my beer and wings pretty quick. 5 Korean BBQ and 5 Spicy Garlic wings. Both delicious and decently sized.

Had an amazing flight! Their beers on draft are fire (we usually get old cans when they make their way to cali) so it was a treat. The food was also damn good. Service was top notch. Would be a regular if this was my city. Loved it!

Walked in the from door to a hostess that never acknowledged our existence. Finally an irritated waitress sat us at a table. The decor is fun and quirky but modern? We only had beers, which were good but no standouts. After our initial experience with the waitresses she was very nice.

Food menu is a bit limited....but I think they hit all the high points. Food was really good (got the tacos). Legit. Beers were on point (wish there were more taps). Was gonna get some togo cans but decided to hold off (the cans don't really match what's on tap....so you're kinda blind buying). Bar service was a little weak....but nothing bad for sure. I'd go back. 😊

Beer was good. Hostess/Service was excellent. Burger didn’t hit the spot but Cajun fries were good. Love the meat inside my partner’s chimichanga. Mosquitos from the pool bit us alive though :(

Hoof Hearted has been throwing fun little summer skate contests for awhile now. This was the 5th one where my schedule worked out and we loaded the car up with skateboards and got to ride their skate jam session. Great beer. Great food. Great people Great neighborhood . See ya next Summer. Thanks

It twas a thursday evening, two señoritas sought out wing and beer deals then come by this place. It has a very university, hipster, you will see alot of baseball caps and wide rimmed glasses type of crowd. The customer service was ok. Our waiter was friendly and quick. Seeing it was our first time there he explained the beer menu some. Wing night is .69 cents a wing, good deal but if you want a dryer wing, ask for well done. My friend ordered a 10 piece and returned half. The bigger pieces, specifically drums were definitely pink at the bone. My friend politely pointed out that many were under cooked and was told the chicken is au' natural, lol. My friend and I looked at eachother in confusion but through their conversation agreed to bring the price down off bill. Once we received the bill, nothing was adjusted. This irritated my friend soul. I was disappointed for them. We are advit "try-ers" slash semi foodies and enjoy trying new places, this was a disappointment.

Came here for brunch with a large group! I used to serve so I know it can be hard with all separate checks so I just wanted to give a shoutout for Evan taking care of us and getting everyone's orders right as well as working with us to get the checks separated! He did a great job serving our table making it a great experience. Thanks Evan! I had the BELT sandwich and Irish coffee (strong) and both were great!

Really surprised by the high ratings of this spot here and on Untappd. I had a flight and didn't particularly like any of the beers I tried. Their IPAs certainly don't deserve the same high reviews as token breweries on the east coast. It makes me wonder if the local standard is different? I will give them kudos for some inventive styles. One beer, skittley bittley, is a fruity sour with coffee. And it tastes exactly like it sounds. Also the service wasn't great. Seemed like the person serving me didn't really know their beer, and the other bartender was not friendly.

TMNT on one TV, American Gladiators on the other. How can you go wrong? You could make garbage beer and that would hide it. However the beer was very good as well. Loved this place.
