👍👍 Amazing and expansive wine selection. Knowledgeable, patient, and friendly staff. Every dish we ordered was delicious, from the cheese platter, to the flatbread, to four different entrees. Even the salad was flavorful. The ambiance is beautiful. Small and intimate setting. Highly recommend. Hosted a baby shower for my daughter at Wine Bistro. Food, service and atmosphere perfect. The staff members were helpful and welcoming and everyone enjoyed the afternoon. I would highly recommend.

Met my daughter here on my birthday and our server must’ve been too busy to provide service for us. It took her about 15 minutes to come to our table after we had been seated. When she came we told her we had never dined at the restaurant before. We had to ask her questions about the menu and she was quit short with her explanations. She told us she’ll come back and to look over the menu. She came back about 13 minutes later and at this point I’m not understanding the extensive wait with her coming back. I had another question about flights and she told us again she’ll be back. We sat unattended to for ten minutes. I told my daughter that it’s my Birthday, my day has been perfect, this experience will not ruin it my day, and we left. As we left there were no signs of the server. No one tending to the door. Nobody asking us is there something they can help us with. Hopefully management will provide better training and guidance because this was unacceptable.

Was wanting a nice dinner, and reserved ahead of time. The site and reviews made me think it was of good quality. When we arrived, the prices made me think "huh, MUST be great quality!" but we were utterly disappointed with the complete lack of seasoning on both the beef short ribs (which... had no rib?) and the chicken saltimbocca. The "ribs"--just one circle of meat which was flavourless and dry, even after dunking it in anything around it that I could. The chicken has no seasoning, I guess they assumed the prosciutto would provide that? It was also a gummy texture. There wasn't even salt anywhere to be seen in either dish. The chop chop side salad was good, but the ceasar salad was dry, the croutons too hard and again.... no seasoning? Parm doesn't cover it all my dudes. For our starter, we picked the braised veal meatball. It's a shame for meat so delicate to be used in such an underwhelming way. I could tell that each of these dishes were prepepared and microwaved, if not from frozen. Nothing tasted fresh, and everything came out in a suspiciously short amount of time. I appreciate when servers are quick, but a plate of meat that costs $30+ should take more than 5 minutes to prepare. I have also never seen a restaurant with servers crowded around the front table chatting away while another is sitting alone on the side with airpods in not interacting with anyone at all. The two servers doing any work seemed like they were aimlessly walking around until someone caught their attention. While our server wasn't necessarily bad, there was almost no communication throughout our time. I have never wanted to leave from a restaurant so soon, especially not one I have paid over 100 dollars to be at. While the presention was... well... they tried..., the taste and service was bland.

The Wine Bistro was simply delicious. Rightly priced for the food we received, and we tried everything! The Baked Brie started just melted you away, the Prosciutto Wrapped Chicken was doused in this amazing sauce, and the Bourbon Bread Pudding was to die for. The overall atmosphere was quite surprising, very beautiful inside and pleasant outside on the porch. The servers provided great service, I will come back wanting more!

This was a terrible experience. The atmosphere was nice and our waiter was great. The food was absolutely terrible. Way too over cooked. The chicken was so dry I needed to cut with steak knife. The steak was supposed to be cooked mid-rare and come out well done and charred. Not to mention this is called Wine Bistro and their wines are awful!! Thank goodness for the Christmas Cheer we had and our lovely waiter Julia who was so kind!! Need a new chef.

OH NO! WHAT HAPPENED??? There is nothing I loathe more then spending good money for bad food. We have been here twice before with good experiences but its been several years. Cheese board was good and the french onion soup was delicious. Entrees were inedible, my husband had the short rib...bland..rissotto clumpy and cold, i had the oven fried penne...chicken was chewy and dry, the "italian sausage was precooked prepackaged ..cold links that you'd buy at kroger or something cut up in little pieces. There was little to zero sauce.. i thought it was supposed to be red sauce but there wasnt any, there was supposed to be sundried tomatoes...nope.. . ZERO salt an pepper was used in preparing our meals. BLAND as you could get as well as poorly execxuted. Im SHOCKED at how bad it was. Got a lot a nerve asking OVER $20 bucks a plate(total bill $134.00) with food that was obviously preprepared..badly..then microwaved??(thats what it tasted like). My husband saw someone in the kitchen sampling the whip cream directly from the canister into his mouth😳..we didn't order dessert🤣.Service was mediocre.. But they were pretty busy so I was all right with that. Typically I get a little more personal attention asking me if id like a bottle of wine I might want and What would pair with our food well but maybe they know their food is s*** so they don't bother with the expensive wine??? My hudband came home and ate a bologna sanwhich, guess ill just starve. There are waaay to many good resturants in columbus to waste your money here...GO ELSEWHERE(like anywhere else) YIKES.

Decided to try The Wine Bistro for a birthday meal, and we had an amazing experience! We tried a flight of reds and whites and loved them all! We split a braised veal meatball based on another Google review, and it was delicious as advertised! I had the spaghetti pesto with chicken and literally could not stop eating until my plate was clean! The shrimp and risotto met the same fate as both entrees were scrumptious! We split the key lime pie for dessert which was absolutely delectable and a refreshing finish to the meal! Travis was our server and was attentive to our every need. Can’t wait to go back and try more items from their menu!

We visited back in December and had a good time, so we reserved a table for the Friday before Valentine's Day. Unfortunately, that ended up being a poor dining experience. They were obviously understaffed for the amount of reservations they had, and the entire service suffered as a result. Drinks were forgotten, the server didn't return to take our appetizer order, so we ended up sitting there for a long time without any food or drinks. We both ordered the Valentine's Day special, the seared scallops with fingerling potatoes and vegetable medley. It. Was. Awful. The potatoes were not fingerling, I think they were russet and were brought out breakfast hashbrown style with no seasoning. The vegetable medley was completely raw, and again no seasoning. The scallops were the worst part: There were only four tiny little scallops, barely larger than a quarter. And they were not "seared" at all. Whoever cooked them must have had the temperature so low that it boiled the scallops, and they became so rubbery that we could barely get through them with a knife. I had to spit out most of it into a napkin because it was so chewy and rubbery. I'm still giving two stars because the first experience there was fine, and the fondue appetizer is good. I think a normal night there is fine, but I would never return for a special occasion, and would definitely never order a limited time menu item since they don't seem to provide the kitchen staff with any training on special event foods. It was so, so gross.

We doordashed an order for our business lunch today, and frankly didn't have super high expectations. We were blown away, every single entree was perfect, all parties very happy. I got the chicken and don't remember the last time I had a piece of chicken breast so perfectly not-overcooked, juicy, could cut it with my fork. Get the baked brie to share. Whoever the chef was today knows their business.

First of all, our server Lily was excellent. She gave good advice about wines and menu options. The food was delicious; we had two different flatbreads. The bottle of wine (Palermo) was superb, and it was served at the perfect temperature. I’ll note that the table was awful, although we had made reservations in advance and indicated it was a special occasion. Where we sat, it was freezing cold. We kept our coats on. My view was through a door into the kitchen. Although a curtain is hung over the door entrance, it was tied back the entire time. The bright kitchen view was less than pleasant. Next, there was a terribly cold draft across our table. The flatware was icy cold, and our food became cold so fast that we asked our server to have it reheated in the kitchen, which was done, although then it was extremely dried out and charred. It wasn’t an extraordinarily cold night for January, not below 30°, so I have no doubt the staff and management know that this table is always terrible in winter.

The last Wine Bistro standing in Columbus. We haven't had the pleasure since prior to the pandemic, but it was well worth the wait. We chose to have small plates with our wine. The truffled mushroom bruschetta is to die for, and the fried baked brie was rich and out of this world! The service was great and checked in with us appropriately. The decor was tasteful, and the seating was very comfortable. Perfect place for a casual lunch or a romantic dinner.

Had a reservation here and asked if we could sit outside. I noticed several tables open on the way in and the hostess said that they were all reserved without a second thought or attempt to accommodate the request. She sat us inside and brought out plates and water. One plate had visible debris and a small dead fly. I should have taken a photo as it was as clear as day and there was no excuse this was brought out, especially since it was the top plate. We told the hostess about the plate with the fly and she took it away without even an apology or offer to make up for it. After she left we noticed how dirty the other plates were. The other plates had greasy finger marks and one with some crusty stuff. Not one plate looked like it had been properly cleaned. I am not a picky person but it made me loose my appetite. At this point the experience was soured and we got up and told the hostess the plates were all dirty and that we were leaving and expressed that we were also not pleased she had not sat us outside when we requested it despite several open tables (this was a Tuesday, not a weekend). She just kept repeating that the tables were reserved and essentially saying bye in a rude manner and did not at all apologize. We went down the street and ate at Local Cantina and had a good experience and got the open air experience without a wait or rude staff. On our way back to our car about an hour later (we have a five year old so we don’t linger) we walked by Wine Bistro and two outside tables remained open (one was the same open table as before). We used to have high regard for this place but won’t be back due to this bad experience on multiple fronts. I usually praise places rather than write negative reviews, but this was so bad I felt it was appropriate. Maybe it will prompt them to evaluate and train their staff better.

I came here with my girlfriend the first time poking fun at the "hipster" atmosphere but now I'm hooked. We drive here to eat from Springfield as often as we can. The best short ribs I've ever had, and I love the fun of trying new red wines with the flights. I'm sorry I made fun of you, Wine Bistro. I love you.

Came for a quick mid afternoon bite. The restaurant is lovely, they had pretty good selection of wines on the wine wall. I had a delightful chilled sweet wine with a delicious shrimp bisque. I will definitely come back again.

What an amazing first experience! Our amazing hostess was more than. She was very helpful and knowledgeable with helping me choose the perfect wine to try. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and everyone was nice and considerate. I will definitely be back.

We dined as a large group, 10 +, the staff was friendly and accommodating with our request. Being able to pick you wine from the shelf when buying bottles is unique, as is the minimum mark up over retail for the wine as apposed to some restaurants 200% or more mark up. Whether you have a small or large group, give them a try for your night out.

Ordered my birthday meal via Door Dash. The crab cakes were over priced for what I got and just meh. The flatbread was burnt and inedible. Pot au feu was terrible.

Nice, cozy little bistro offering a very nice happy hour menu. I enjoyed the flatbread and the gourmet popcorn (and I'm not really a popcorn fan). Try it out, you will not be disappointed.

Great lunch. We had the bacon cheeseburger, Italian baguette sandwich, crab cakes, and chop salad with pear prosciutto and asiago flatbread. Everyone was very pleased. I tried the flatbread, and the crab cakes and ate the Italian baguette sandwich. The crab cakes were, by far, the best. Server was friendly and engaging. We then had the blonde brownie with bacon, oh yeah...bacon! Perfect. We'll be back! Update... we came back and enjoyed the rustic anti pasto platter and the crab cake sandwich. Can't go wrong here!

I got the steak frites, the potatoes were over salted and my medium-rare ended up being more than medium :( Flatbread was a little too flat

A little pricey, the menu a bit limited. Flatbread not recommended. Wine flights are fun! Was very busy but we were accommodated and would return.
