Pretty cool place with a cultivated dive bar feel.

Great bar. Amazing little punk venue tucked away with wonderful people attending. The beer is cheap and the bathrooms have some real character. It gets a little warm but what's a good show without some sweat? It feels authentic in a way that you would imagine some tiny club in 1970's New York city would feel.

It's a cool place with a lot of fun local people that come in to play tunes. I love the chill vibe and community feel. It's a little bit grimy but hey, that's not abnormal. Plus they have a gigantic tree stump in the bar which you can't get just anywhere!

Fantastic venue. The stage is set back in a room off of the side and has a real tree stump in it coming from the ground with the stage built around it. They take care of both bands and patrons well with good drink prices and awesome service. Every show gives a good intimate feel with great sound. Open mics nights too with good songwriters, make sure to go check it out.

Great reputation, awful space. Mushrooms we're growing in the floor, water was dripping from the ceiling, no tables were in the room where the music was, and the airless back room smelled like cat piss in a sweaty locker room... but the music was awesome.

The dive-iest of dive bars; hard to find but always worth it. You can’t beat a wildly cheap 24 oz PBR, good music, and an atmosphere that feels more like your buddy’s basement than a bar.

Tree Bar is a very cool hidden away spot. Looking at the outside you might never know there was a bar inside. Parking can be a pain in the area, and it tends to get crowded (it frequently features live music but its a pretty terrible venue for that) it is still worth checking out. A very cool atmosphere abounds inside and there is a pool table for entertainment as well as a nice deck out back.

It is a local bar not touristy. Do not let the outer appearance mask the lively interior. Nice music with live bands. Drinks are cheap. People are friendly. There is a nice patio for summer. Finally there is a pool table available for a dollar. It was a walking distance to the varsity inn and 20 min from osu medical center. Totally recommend it.

This place is pretty great and pretty tough to find! I have seen some of the best local and non-local music here. I've also had nights where the bands were just ungodly drunk and it was disappointing. They always have a beer+shot special. The space is really fun. There's no stage for the band and it makes it one of the most intimate venues where you can see music. There actually is a tree (stump) in there. I recommend going on a nice summer night and spending some time on the patio too.

This is the best dive music venue you could imagine. The place is a good mix of weird, dank, and approachable. The staff are always nice (not the gruff bartenders with attitude you would expect from a place like this), and the atmosphere is inviting and warm. I have had more conversations with strangers here than anywhere else. The shows are usually pretty good, the intimate and casual environment lets bands really cut through the stage persona and get down to being personable and musical. The PA's aren't great, and the drinks can be hit or miss, but that is part of the charm. This bar is one of my standby's for going into blind when I don't know what I am looking for, but want to have a good time.

It's closed and there are a bunch of eviction notices on the doors.

Neat bar. There is a cool tree stump on the stage, and walls are covered in promo stickers of all the performers that have been there over the years. Bar is pretty small and in a very weird location, but i think that adds to its appeal.
