We had just gotten inside and I already wanted to leave due to the experience that we had with security - very racist. They only patted down non-white members of our group and when asked about it used racist language. We won't be coming back.

Went in on a Sunday afternoon. Bartender was great. Beer was cold and plenty of football TVs

No complaints from us at all, a family of 7 and each of us ordered something different. My 8 year old daughter destroyed bbq wings! Our new favorite place! We can’t wait until next trip.

This was a fairly unremarkable bar with a small menu of decent bar food, typical drinks, and good service. I had the Homestyle Chicken, Nashville Hot and the cheese curds. Both were alright and the prices aren't too bad given the location.

Nice place to go if you want to have a drink or hang out. The drinks are a hit or miss depending upon who is bartending. Not priced to bad for it being downtown Columbus.a shot of bourbon makers mark was $8.

Absolutely delicious food. Fantastic atmosphere and well priced. Bartender was quick to get us drinks, give us a menu when we asked and was very friendly. Highly recommend if you want a drink and good bar food. Their selection wasn't very big but for a bar it worked. Burgers, fries, onion rings were all Fantastic. Even was able to add pickles to a item that didn't have them listed as an option. I only mention that because I have had some smaller style bars or food places deny adding extras if they are not listed in the food description. Fantastic place, a short walk from the Hyatt convention center. Definitely will be eating again from them next time we are on an extended vist up here.

Jonis provided top tier service. He was very attentive and made sure I was taken care of the whole night. Even gave me a fresh ice cold water to have with my tequila. 10/10 hospitality, highly recommend!! Make sure you ask for him if you ever stop by Bernie’s <3

pretty nice place kitchen closed earlier than normal. was a little disappointed but they allowed me to bring food in.

Wings were great. Quesadilla awesome. My issue is they are not open when they say. I drove 20 minutes to stand outside at 530 and wait. Bullshinto

Food is delicious. Was very let down from the blantantly lazy and poor service from the female bartenders. Just...try! The sound for karaoke is in severe need for upgrading.

One of my favorite bars to frequent on a Tuesday. Karaoke, great drinks plus food… and you can’t forget the cool staff and the pool table. There’s always fun to be found at Bernie’s, and it’s not even the weekend!

Spent 10-12 minutes without anyone acknowledging us except for another table who advised we move away from the puke on the floor. No one working seemed to care.

If you haven't been here for awhile, things have changed. There was no server. The menu has been greatly reduced. You have to give your order to the bartender. All that side, my smash burger was one of the best burgers I've had for quite a long time. Oh, the music too loud to even carry on a conversation.

Was in Ohio for a week of work. Found this place my first night. Might've been my favorite part about Ohio Bartending staff super welcoming, very knowledgeable, great atmosphere The main sports events are always on JAMESON TRAVIS!!

This post is long overdue! If you have an opportunity to go to Bernards ask for Lauren. She’s a great server and has so much personality! I personally will go back just to get drinks from her again. Overall great atmosphere, but she just makes it even better.

I LOVE this bar! I stop in to see my favorite bartender in the city, Jonny. He’s quick with the jokes and even quicker pouring you a drink. This place is a blast!! , 🥴😎🍻 Cheers!

Just sad I spent money here. Got like 1/3 of the ingredients that were supposed to be in my salad and theres no way the fries were cooked this week

I love this place. It's always dead when I am there but maybe I am just going at the wrong time, but that is ok, I like it not being crowded. Drinks are good and appetizer dip was good too.

Went for restaurant week. Service was friendly, but food took forever considering place was pretty dead. Food was 4/5 when it was received, serving size was good. I will give another shot someday.

Located in the Columbus Short North strip on High street. This bar is actually larger than you think when you enter and plenty of space. TV screens, a large long bar and people that can come to wait on your table too; as an option. Food can be ordered. Afternoon was hopping...

Bernard’s is definitely my top choice of bar to kick it at. And Jonis is by far THE BEST bartender they have. Very funny and handsome😉!!

Bernard’s is a great bar to watch games shoot pool and play darts. The staff is great friendly and always give timely service and make great relationships with regulars. I am a regular there and bartends like Jonis and Kylie know my order and bring it to me when I walk into the door. It’s types of relationships with staff like the one I have with Jonis and Kylie that keeps me coming back to Bernard’s every week.

Jonis is always so nice & helpful. He recommends the best drinks. I will definitely be back!

Jonis is a great bartender!! Very personable and the pasta is immaculate. Get it. Over all a great place to go if you’re in the downtown area or coming from the convention center
