Rustic environment, but upscale food. One of the highest quality meals I've had in Columbus. I chose this place because of their menu; the happy hour snacks and appetizers were very vegetarian friendly and I had many options, most of which were not forms of potatoes! We got there in time to get happy hour snacks and a few beers. I had one of the sours which was delicious. We had the fried cashews and the cheddar biscuits, both of which were well spiced and tasty. For my meal, I got the burrata. This was a very cool dish; the lentils were well cooked, the burrata rich and creamy, and the onion component was delicious! For dessert I ordered the squash- which turned out to be squash donuts! I felt the dish tasted like baklava, my guests thought apple crisp. Regardless, this was a unique dessert that was well saving room for! Highly recommend (especially if you get there for happy hour)!

Rockmill brings everything you love about craft brewpubs into one cozy space. The beer section was excellent and didn't focus so heavily on IPAs like most breweries do. As for the food, the menu was tight but everything on it was a hit. The bread and fat appetizer is beyond incredible and a must try for anyone visiting for the first time. We tried the special (blanket pasta and brazed pork cheek) along with the spicy chicken sandwich and both were bursting with flavor. This is my new favorite restaurant for sure.

Amazing cheese platter with local cheeses and surprisingly dark chocolate! great service, home brew beer and double fried fries! Side of the Brussel Sprouts was amazing. Not the crispy kind but more so thr glazed soft kind. Small and super tasty. The mains were normal, crispy chicken sandwich looked great, I got the burger medium rare.

Been here several times and I've always been impressed! The burger and crispy chicken sandwich are always delicious, and the last time I came the lamb neck blew me away. The beers are also excellent - I really enjoyed the Rugged Expanse. The service was also phenomenal, above and beyond friendly and prompt.

Absolutely fantastic food and great beers. The burger was great, Brussels sprouts were amazing, and the pork special was to die for. Can't recommend it enough, but I would recommend a reservation!

Great ambiance and great food! The flavors were great. They get their ingredients fresh from their garden. I love that they are very accommodating. I don’t eat pork and our server asked the chef if he could modify the recipe. The chef said yes with no fuss. It was tasted so good. The pasta was handmade and is a special where they usually change the type of pasta everyday. Also the Brussels sprouts is a must try. It had a Smokey burnt flavor that was so good. Also, our server was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. He was very passionate about the restaurant.

Great food here and the service is first rate too. I had the chicken cheesey biscuit and my wife had the spicy chicken sandwich. Both were delicious.

Warm tavern environment. Wide selection of craft beer. What really sets Rockmill apart is the food. Excellently crafted dishes. The best brussel sprouts I've ever eaten. This place is worth a visit.

We've been here several times and have always enjoyed the beer selection as well as the food. The Rockmill folks spent a long time looking for a site in Columbus and this former WOB building has worked out well. The staff here have always been attentive and knowledgeable. The menu is limited but every entree is delicious. The desserts are excellent!

"Elevated" pizza places are hit or miss but we got a really nice pie here. The pizzas are quite large and are thus a good value for the money.  We love the one with the crispy Brussels piled on top,  it is really good and tastes intentional...like they spent some time on the flavor profile and didn't just slap a bunch of expensive sounding stuff on a crust like many places seem to do. I didn't eat in but it is a beautiful restaurant,  very cozy and not too loud. Staff was nice as well.

The pizza was so delicious we ordered a second one. The beers were outstanding too, which we always expect from Rockmill - we especially enjoyed the experimental IPA and the white ale. Friendly service and cool atmosphere.. we’ll be back soon. Thank you!

I used to love Rockmill Tavern, we would go multiple times monthly. I want to give Bandit this same love but they make it impossible because they are never open, even during their posted open hours. They don’t answer the phone or update their phone message or hours online to reflect when they are closed. They are already only open a few days a week and this makes multiple times that I’ve gone when they’re supposed to be open only to find out they are closed. I’ve probably got one more wasted trip in me before I completely give up on them. The food is good but good luck trying any of it.

Big fan of Rockmill for the quality and depth they bring to food/drink. Pizza options were unique and absolutely delicious! The wine list was also unique with thoughtful nuanced wines, not just the sugar bombs you find at most places. I'm also a big fan of the beers, but I had wine tonight. My son also loved his pizza. Rockmill does it right. I'm from Cincinnati, I wish Rockmill was here :)

The pizza is fine. For the price it's too small and not enough toppings. Beer is still great though! Rockmill had always been pricey but the food and beer were excellent. Due to the cost I didn't go as often as I would have liked, but I still went plenty of times. With this pizza, I don't think I'll go back. Buy their beer, visit their brewery, get food elsewhere.

Great pizza. I couldn’t stop eating it. I’ve been there twice and both times it was great.
