*Update - It’s been two years and I can still feel raw chicken in my mouth. * I ordered a chicken breast sandwich. It was completely raw. Truly completely uncooked. I had already bitten into it, and the feeling of the lukewarm raw chicken stayed in my mouth for a long time. While the staff was apologetic, I cannot recommend to anyone. If that is what is visible to the guests, I am concerned for what goes on out of sight.

Two big thumbs up! The chili nut mix, meatballs, and seasonal Ravioli were incredibly flavorful and really delicious. I certainly plan on returning when next I make it to Columbus

We came here during happy hour and was I was excited to finally visit. Parking is the usual paid street parking. The restaurant is beautiful, the bar is so classy, and I would describe the atmosphere as cool retro jazz. It was a Tuesday evening, very calm and quiet, except for the kitchen noises. Their menu changed slightly, I think they had their pizzas for happy hour previously, but it wasn't this time. However, the OH pizza was delicious, crispy, sweet, spicy, fantastic. I would recommend this pizza, it's very good. We also got the meatballs, bruschetta, and truffle popcorn. I was not expecting the meatballs to be two massive balls, it was good and delicious, just a bit too salty. The popcorn was a bit soggy, but truffle flavor was good. The bruschetta also came on just two slices of bread and covered in tomato and balsamic vinaigrette goodness. The appetizers we got during happy hour ranges from $3-$4. We also got the mini Cosmo and Lemon Drop, and chardonnay to sip and those were good to pair with everything. I preferred the Lemon Drop a bit more, it gave a good sour and sweet balance. Overall, with mini drinks, appetizers, and pizza, the cost was about $53 before tip. It's not too bad when we shared with 3 people. I would come back for their pizza and a couple apps! I really like the atmosphere of the bar and staff was very nice and patient with us. Staff was nice to accommodate us and allowed us to choose somewhere else to sit. I would recommend this place for a casual date, a drink, and a delicious pizza. I enjoyed the atmosphere and the decor of the restaurant. I feel like outside of happy hour, it may be a bit expensive including parking, but it was pretty good during happy hour.

Today was the first time I had the happy hour here at Rossi. Have to say the food was very delicious and was well worth the price. The quality and quantity was at the right price point and the service is very good the waitress really kept checking in to be sure we had enough food and water. I highly recommend the food.

I went to The Rossi full of expectations and, unfortunately, I was a little disappointed. We went there for the “Restaurants Week” in Columbus and got their menu with a couple of different choice. I was very happy with the appetizers: both the Ricotta and the meatballs were amazing. Unfortunately, the main plates were not so great: Carbonara was very runny and with almost no pancetta… the other dish was also plain and with not a lot of flavor (mainly spice). Desserts also were very average. Service was great and the waiter (it was his first day) was very nice and thoughtful. I will for sure give it another chance… hopefully, it will change my mind!

Phenomenal Italian restaurant. Everything about it is what you want from a classy restaurant. Great food, amazing service, great ambiance. The only complaint I have is the chocolate sauce on the tiramisu overwhelms the rest of it. Everything else I had is some of the best food I've ever eaten.

Came for brunch, made a reservation fairly easily via Google. Decent amount of options for both food and drink. Unfortunately, many items that were on the menu (see photos for QR code) were actually unavailable. Had to have a back up plan on what else to order. Beautiful venue inside with nice large windows facing high street. Perfect for people watching/free entertainment. Food was good and drinks were pretty good as well!

Really cozy environment! Good for dates! Menu was not huge but all the options are so appealing! I had the truffle gnocchi and my friend had the margarita pizza! We were both really happy with our food!

Food and servers were great - manager was rude. A friend and I went early on a Wednesday and the manager asked if we had a reservation (we did not). She emphasized that there was only ONE non-reservation table left. It came across passive aggressive and as if we were lucky to be getting seated without a reservation. I ordered the mussels off the happy hour menu. When the dish arrived it included pork sausage, which I cannot eat. After checking the happy hour menu to confirm sausage was not a listed ingredient, I asked a server about it. She confirmed it was pork sausage, apologized, and asked if I wanted the dish remade. Since it had taken some time to receive, I declined. Oversights happen and that's fine, I just didn't want to wait. The manager then came over and said she heard the dish wasn't to my liking. I said it included an ingredient not listed on the menu which I could not eat. She asked "Didn't you see sausage listed?" which came across as condescending. Apparently sausage is listed on the regular menu. I replied that I had checked and it's not on the happy hour menu. She then said they would remove the dish from our bill "as a courtesy" which she again emphasized as if I was lucky. No apology. It's important for the menu to reflect the ingredients served, especially with something like meat in a seafood dish. While the other food was great, I wouldn't go back based on my treatment.

We were aiming for The Rossi, but you know, running in the door out of a torrential rain just gave us a quick jolt of making it into someplace special. And it is. Has a great low key vibe with subtle lighting and music that’s there, but not THERE, if you get me. The sunset on amalfi cocktail was perfect, mussels were so tasty with just the right spicy kick, meatballs were full flavored, and truffle fries? We just kept dipping into the lemon aioli! So worth the rainy dash!

Looked up best burgers in Columbus. The list needs updated because this super dry, overcooked pile of garbage doesn’t belong anywhere near that list. Great service thoug, my server was very friendly.

We stopped in for a nightcap. Great cocktails and a nice whiskey selection. High quality ingredients and good technique. Helpful and friendly bar staff, too. A pity the kitchen was closed, but hope to try the food next time.

Appetizers were great, drinks were great! There were good options fun to sip and nibble and share in a casual environment with the busy high street silently strolling by all in perfect view. It has a good ambience and the staff were more than friendly and helpful. The burrata board and Brussels sprouts were delicious. The pork chop and cheddar grits and collard greens were really rich, balanced flavors and well cooked I definitely recommend. Although admittedly the temperature of the pork was not likely up to snuff and we ended up with slightly undercooked chop (some establishments will cook pork to medium anymore based on the fresh clean source and raising of pork). The veggie risotto didn’t quite work, the stringy green veggies and then the much larger boxy squash sort of contrast poorly. The flavors of the squash and risotto itself are about all you’ll get. The greens just kind of were there and in the way, it could have been creamier. It felt like they tried to create a veg dish for veg persons and took a cheap shot. It ought not be an entree for any reason. If someone was to try this dish and it be there first impression of risotto it would surely be there last. I’ve been before and I’ll come back some day. It really is a lovely Columbus gem, and even with a few small mistakes has lots of potential.

FANTASTIC place in Short North. Such a bustling area - you have to check it out. The food and service at Rossi were outstanding. The menu had so many great options, but I was drawn to happy hour muscles (delicious and fresh) and the burger. The meat is sourced from a local chop house, so that made it an easy choice. 10/10 would dine here again. With so many choices in the area, don't over look this one!

What happens when you blend the atmosphere of a classy 60’s Italian joint with the playlist of all the 00’s high school prom playlist (second hand serenade and fallout boy)… The Rossi. Food was fantastic service was a little off (we had to ask for several common items including dessert) but the manager was attentive.

Originally we were going to go to another restaurant but thankfully they closed their kitchen early. The food here was absolutely amazing! I got the pasta Rossi and he got the salmon. We also got bruschetta as an appetizer and it was all absolutely delicious!! I can't say enough good things about this restaurant. Thank goodness the other place was closed. I would definitely recommend going here and will be going back in the future when I'm in town!

The only thing this restaurant has going for it is the location. I think I just ate a lean cuisine. We had brussels sprouts, pasta, and steak all of which was mediocre. I have been to Rossi a handful of times over the years and it’s never impressed me. It’s just not good. I hope another restaurant takes its place!

This is one of my favorite restaurants in the Shorth North! Their burgers are absolutely amazing and one of the best that I've ever had. I love the vibe inside too. It's very laid back and cozy. Good spot for a date night or to meet up with friends. I highly recommend checking this place out!

I left a tip for the cooks and cooks are not part of the tip pool. Even If you like the food here, do not support this business. I watched as the manager took the tip I put on the expo counter specifically for the cooks. She then informed me that the cooks do not participate In the tip pool. Don't worry I handsomely tipped my server too. Do not eat at the Rossi if you value service industry workers. Cooks deserve tips. Fight me if you disagree. She snatched their tip away from them.

Great pasta. Fun cocktails. We were here really early in the evening. The vibe of the place is 60/70 Italian but the music was odd-- rap, emo. Decor is fun.

This is a great restaurant. The bar and drinks are really good. The service is excellent and it is obvious the management/ leadership trains the staff or they hire experienced servers. Food is terrific. For consideration is there is no parking. As with many urban dining destinations, you have to figure out the parking yourself. Make sure you download and have the Columbus parking app to pay for street parking. Also - this is a great place but you will pay top dollar for this experience. If you want a great dining experience and are willing to pay - Rossi is tops. I will go back and so should you.

Went there before going to a Concert on Campus. Service was really good and food was even better. Thought we would go for drinks and was very surprised how good the food was. Great atmosphere for an early dinner. Have been to many places in the Short North and our first visit to The Rossi was memorable. I recommend this place for couples and small groups.

The food was phenomenal! I had the Carbonara and from the first bite to the last, it was tasty, just the right temperature, well plated and delectable! I had to have someone take my plate so that I didn't lick it clean! Paired with the bread service, I was able to take that fluffy, homemade bread and dip it right into that rich, creamy Alfredo carbonara! Yum! Highly recommended!! Add a glass of riesling for a coup detat of the taste buds! Thank you!!

Hands down, The Rossi is one of my top two favorite restaurants. I’ve been a loyal customer for years and years, and they never disappoint. I’ve had just about everything on the menu and it’s all delicious. I’m excited they have the lamb lollipops back on the appetizer menu with the option to get 3 or 5 (get 5!). The bread service is the best bread I’ve ever had. Seriously. And you can never go wrong with the Caesar salad, the Rossi burger, or a pizza. The drinks are always spot on too.

My wife and I recently had the pleasure of dining at Rossi Kitchen and Bar in Columbus, and we were thoroughly impressed with our experience. This charming establishment quickly won us over with its inviting atmosphere and delicious food. As a lover of pizza, I couldn't resist trying their offerings in this department. And let me tell you, I was not disappointed. The pizza at Rossi Kitchen and Bar is simply outstanding. The crust was perfectly thin and crispy, while the toppings were fresh and flavorful. Each bite was a delightful explosion of taste, and I found myself savoring every slice. On the other hand, my wife is a pasta aficionado, and she was equally thrilled with her choice. The pasta dishes at Rossi Kitchen and Bar are a true testament to their culinary expertise. The noodles were cooked to perfection, and the sauces were rich and well-balanced. The flavors were authentic and comforting, making each bite a true delight for my wife. The service at Rossi Kitchen and Bar was exceptional. The staff was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu. They were more than happy to provide recommendations and answer any questions we had. We felt well taken care of throughout our meal, which added to the overall enjoyment of our dining experience. The ambiance of the restaurant was cozy and inviting. The dim lighting, rustic decor, and comfortable seating created a warm and intimate atmosphere. It was the perfect setting for a romantic dinner with my wife, allowing us to relax and enjoy each other's company. In addition to the fantastic food and service, Rossi Kitchen and Bar also offers a great selection of drinks. Their cocktail menu is creative and well-crafted, with options to suit every taste. We indulged in a couple of their signature cocktails, and they were expertly mixed and absolutely delicious. Their bartenders are actual mixologist as well. They understand the chemistry of alcohol as well! Overall, our experience at Rossi Kitchen and Bar was exceptional. The quality of the food, the attentive service, and the inviting atmosphere all contributed to a memorable evening. Whether you're a pizza lover like me or a pasta enthusiast like my wife, this restaurant is sure to satisfy your cravings. We highly recommend Rossi Kitchen and Bar to anyone looking for a fantastic dining experience in Columbus.

Great service and one of the best Happy Hours in Columbus. We had Mussels and a pizza for under 1 $15. Of course we didn't stop there, we also tried the fondue (perfection in melted cheese form), mini martinis, and house made tiramisu. Everything was top notch, we'll definitely be coming back.

Used to be one of my favorite pizzas in columbus, large , hand tossed, huge triangle slices. Something has drastically changed for the worse :( Ordered 2 pizzas for carryout. I literally thought there was a mistake and i got handed 2 empty boxes. The large pizzas are a measly 6 slices, and tiny tiny, stingy slices. I counted 8 pepperonis on a large, pepperoni only pizza. There's just nothing to it. It tasted very very sweet too, not savory. The calamari was pretty awful as well.

I would say I liked this place. It does not get very busy so it’s good for a chill Friday evening. There are not many options on the happy hour menu. I always compare similar places to Marcella’s and that one would be my go-to, to be honest. I may go back here sometimes. The service was pretty good. The martinis were tiny, and the prices were a bit high. And I did not like the food that I had that much. The cauliflower gratin was alright and the margherita pizza was not good at all.
