My boyfriend and I just moved around the corner and we thought "main bar" could be our new bar! We walked in on a Saturday night with our friends, and I thought we were being treated different. We ignored the first initial impression and was having a great time! Then the bar tender DAVID cut us off because we were playing pop music and singing along having a good time. It came out of no where, and he told us he would rather us never come back then piss off his straight friends. This bar is the worst, never go there. If I could give it a negative rating I would.

In my opinion, the best dive bar in Columbus. This is an experience that anyone should have. the drinks are cheap, and the atmosphere is always distinct. There is a Tunes music station (FYI) and that is what usually turns up the crowd.

This place has so much potential. The structure from the outside has much character and charm. It is a very quaint and small bar. The theme is very whatever goes. The restrooms were dirty and had an oversized trash can making it difficult to move around. The music was loud. They have touchtunes so there was a mix of rap and old reggae music. The clientele seemed interesting but little opportunity for interaction due to the music being so loud.

The best dive in downtown. Stiff, cheap drinks and an always eclectic group. Nice homey patio seating in the back on picnic tables. Great, friendly bartenders who will quickly remember you.

Great hole in the wall spot. If you want a place to grab a beer and be around friendly people. This is it. Make sure to get a free Lyft ride when you use promo 20COLUMBUS

I would like to give 0 stars. Everything started off fine.. except they happened to be out of everything.... sugar free red bull, sugar free anything, pineapple juice, WINE GLASSES ( they had just broke the last two.???). Anyway, the bartender was on some weird power trip where customer service came second to his ego. He kicked a lady out for "acting helpless and getting people to buy her drinks". A beer was purchased for her, he was upset about it, told her to leave or else he was calling the police and then dumped it out. THEN, a group of 5 of us, all respectable young professionals began singing along to a Beyonce song. David, the bartender, yelled at us to be quiet because he couldn't hear the order of some patrons that had walked in. Scolded, we stopped singing. A few minutes later, we admittedly were all singing again (it's.a BAR for goodness sake!!) and a girl in our group attempted to order another beer and David refused to serve her...because of our singing. He then REFUSED to give my friend a receipt for his tab...claiming it was a flat amount. Our other friend tried to tip him to which he responded that he didn't need her money. Unless you want to be sushed, made to order something different than what you want bc "they just ran out" OR would enjoy the experience of being kicked out of a bar for the first time in your life, then I would avoid this dump :) I've never been treated so poorly it's prompted me to write a bad review, until tonight. Seriously, stay away from this place.

Such a unique Columbus treasure! My husband and I used to live close enough to walk, and it was often our pit stop along the way to sporting events and concerts. Love the staff, love the crowd. Our favorite dive.

Fun, local, great beer. Seriously, what more do you want in a place? Tucked back in a neighborhood that gives it a laid back and easy atmosphere. Owners are friendly and staff is knowledgeable. If you haven't been here, why not?

Sadly, it has been sold. Bought by a big city development company and will be razed and turned into condo's.

Great ambiance & decor. It has a nice feel to it. They have so many good reviews for a reason.

Just moved in the building next door, I went in with a couple of friends to discover the city, and I had the most disappointing and homophobic experience. I thought I was walking into a friendly neighborhood bar, but my friends and I were told to leave for singing a Beyoncé song out loud, Drunk In Love to be exact. One of my friends, a Female tried ordering a drink, and the bartender David aggressively told her no. Why you might ask? Because of our behavior. Mind you, we had two drinks, And In are early 30's and were not disruptive. David kept conversating with a couple guys, avoiding us, and when my female friend tried to order another drink, he aggressively told her no. My other friend, who is gay was treated with such disrespect, when the bartender david refused to serve him, or supply him with a receipt. He told us to leave, and we will never be back.
