A great hidden local gem of a pub in old(e?) downtown Worthington. It’s tucked away just off high street, directly behind the hustle and bustle of the more crowded locations. There’s an outdoor patio, a nice front room where the bar is located, and a large private back room that’s open to everyone, but also available to rent for private parties. I recently rented the back area for a surprise party and it worked fantastically!

I went to The Pub Out Back after a walk through the Worthington Art Festival last weekend. What a nice little bar off the beaten path! Really clean place with a tiny patio out front. I'm close to 60 and I don't remember EVER being in a cleaner men's room in a bar anywhere? Seriously guys. My companion for that day's libations concurred regarding the ladies room. Small looking place when you first walk in but there's another room in the back. Several TVs for sports viewing, good selection of drafts, (I'm a beer guy) and a full bar, of course. Dave was behind the bar that Saturday. He was friendly and attentive. If I lived "out front" I'm sure I'd be a regular.

Simply drinks in a homey and chill atmosphere. Very nice staff and customers. Highly recommend. Limited in variety because it's small but it's still great

Attended a lovely birthday celebration held in The Room Out Back. Fantastic time was had by all. Great staff and delightful friends.

We love coming here. It's great getting to kick back with neighbors and others in the community. It's a fun place to watch football, have a few drinks, and unwind. We can even bring our own food in. Drinks are reasonable and David is always great to us.

Am I biased from knowing the owner from way back? Yeah, so what? Great bar. Go Cards.

I agree with Emmy about the TV to Wall Ratio (TWR). Superb. The back room is priceless. Even more priceless is Adam. This is a wonderful bar and should not be missed if you are looking for friendly faces and good brews.

Small but friendly. Bartender was cool and they only had a few beers on tap. Prices were great though! Not a bad little place.

Cool little spot that's tucked away. Never knew it was there until a coworker wanted to go after work. They have a shuffle board which didn't really work, won't fault them for that haha. Friendly bar tender, neat place, will be back.

Awesome pub with plenty of TVs, great service and delicious selection of rotating taps. Always a friendly crowd. Staff is exceptional--esp. Katie, Ashley and Julie. Jim is pretty cool as well.

It’s a wonderful and friendly place where the patrons and bar tenders are happy to welcome you for a drink or a few. Sports events and juke box music compete for your attention in a welcoming atmosphere. If you like neighborhood friendly places and relaxing sporting venues you will love the Pub Out Back.

I live around the corner. The perfect place to walk to & have a drink with friends, watch a game, or play some darts. One of my favorite places to go.
