Very very nice place to chill with your woman

If you are a person of ANY color PLEASE come & support this ABSOLUTELY AMAZING well ran beautiful establishment!!!! I Enjoy my self EVERYTIME!!! I have vigorously invited MOST of my friends/family & they just tell their family & friends as well about this wonderful & supportive environment! Ppl of color read this clearly---you have to experience The Pelican Room at Least 1x! It's a place of open mic night from well experienced artist & very open & welcoming to new poets as well! If you are someone who just wants to come & observe PLEASE do! And if you are someone who wants to try your hand at just getting up fearlessly in front of a very intimate sized crowd of black supporting beautiful & successful ppl from all over Ohio & even from out of state-THIS is Thee place to do it. One artist who spoke a very moving piece also displayed his phenomenal art wrk as well. ASTOUNDING!!!!! Please please come chk it out & see for yourself! I've been more than a handful of times & its always always a beautiful time. SO MUCH fun & excitement from single & married ppl. In this environment you are welcomed by the host to interact with someone you dont know yet, to net work & just open up to someone new to meet & socialize with! Men & woman are very respectful & pleasant to be around! A wonderfully safe & clean environment. They have a bar as well in the corner & you can order food up stairs. The only negative is of course parking downtown but even that isnt really bad. There are pleanty of good & safe places to park. And its ONLY $5.00 at the door MOST of the time UNLESS they have a special guest speaker or event which is only then just $10 unless of course you want to reserve a VIP table or something (not sure what the prices are for that) but its adults only(no kids under 18 I believe & yea)...just come out! :)

I enjoyed my time. Food upstaira is amazing. They really need to come up with a way to get food to guest downstairs. There are a ton of stairs n to rock those with drinks n foos is a lot.

Loved the seating that was available, entertainment and a DJ, great music on Saturday. My only complaint is that our drinks were only filled half way in small plastic cups and they said there was no ice but saw many other people with ice in their drinks. Not sure why they don't serve ice with Gin and OJ or Jack and cokes...warm and pricey drinks for what we got.

Great atmosphere, drinks and entertainment. Management works hard to keep updated, diverse and popular venues. The type of place you can be comfortable bringing friends and family from out of town and you're assured it'll leave a positive impression of Columbus.

Nice atmosphere. Good crowd. We had a hard time finding it. They may want to have a sign outside directing people to the room which is downstairs from a restaurant.

I like the vibe at the pelican room. It is pretty tight in there, as in small lol. Different nights seemed to have different types of people there. I'm not sure, maybe that's just my experience. My uncle didnt really like it. But I know a lot of people who go there.

I went here for a party a few months ago Very nice vibe. It's cool that they have 3 levels. They had live music going downstairs and a DJ at the top level, I think VIP in the middle. It got really crowded upstairs however and extremely hot. With nowhere to run really to escape it but a few vents or to step outside. It was upscale though, drinks were a little pricey and service was not that great, but it was a packed Saturday and I kinda expected that. Didnt know they served food so it's on my list, but if the atmosphere is a precursor I'm looking forward to it!

The atmosphere was nice, the service was great and the owner made it a point to walk around and speak to his guest, very personable! I thought that was great. Great location! It's a quaint place. The acoustics were a bit loud for the small area, which is the only reason I did not give a 5 star. My partner made mention to hiw loud the music was as well. We will visit again! No photos this time

Cute spot. Staff was nice and friendly. Friday's is ladies night so some drinks 5.00.

Tonight was my first time ever at The Pelican Room , the atmosphere was phenomenal. The crowd was age appropriate which I loved. I meet one of the owners Steve he was amazing. I recommend everyone to stop by and experience an awesome time at The Pelican Room! !!!
