Nice, big, spacious bar with high tables, low tables, complimented with alike seating. Delicious signature drinks accompanied with cool music and a great crowd. Delicious food and excellent service. Thank you to Johnny and Alex. Celebrated two birthdays at The Olde Oak and it was the perfect setting. Parking lot across the street as well and meter free parking on the same street. One pool table available and the interior decor is a work of art. I have been visiting The Old Oak at least once a week and the experience is always memorable. The crowd and staff makes this bar welcoming and it’s always a blast.

Organization was having an afterparty, from the event we had. I usually visit another place nearby, but Olde Oak usually looks busy. Drink prices are comparable to other nearby bars. I didn't order any food, but service was appropriate.

Nice spot for dinner, the garage doors were open and there was a nice breeze with the ambiance. It had your average bar menu items, tacos were cheap and the wings were pretty delicious. The waiter was excellent, he answered all our questions as well as letting us get a flight of beer, had a great time and would love to come back.

We went here before a concert at The Bluestone. We each got two beers on draft and got an order of fries. The fries were delicious and the service was good. The place and neighborhood seemed to be hopping. We will definitely return to this area.

Food is pretty good but you'll spend at least half an hour before you're able to order and another half hour after that before the food comes out. This place has so much potential but of the three times I have gone the service is horribly slow. I don't even blame the servers, there was two of them for an entire restaurant.

We are in Columbus Ohio for a softball tournament and rented a house a couple hundred yards from this restaurant. We were thinking just something close. Must say we were surprised. The food is excellent here. I ended up getting a bacon cheese burger and fries because I wasn't real hungry. The burger is probably one of the best ones I've had anywhere. If you like your bacon crisp, you'd better ask for it to be crisp, because they cook it medium. Which was fine with me. The fries were also the best. I'm not a fry guy, but I ate every one of them. Seasoned great. I also ate a couple of the bbq wings my daughter had. I'm kinda snobby about my wings, but these were really good. Had like a hint of Bourbon flavor. Also the Buffalo Mac and cheese is a great flavourful dish. A little spicy but just right. And there was an appetizer that was like a Buffalo chicken dip that looked like hummus that was perfect and I could have ate a gallon of it. They didn't have sweet tea, sobi had a coke. But it was coke that had enough acid it felt like it could eat your face off. So that's a perfect coke. ‐------------------------------ But the most stand out thing was this. We went in the 2nd day in a row because we had been at the ball field all day. We walked in and our server from the night before walked up and had all of our drinks ready. He remembered us from the night before. He also remembered what we ordered the night before and asked us if we wanted the same thing. Dude has a great memory. This is a must stop in Columbus. We will definitely be back, since we go to Columbus every year.

Service was really lacking, super loud, good food. We went for the wing night special $.75 wings. They came out super fresh and hot, the steak was rolling off of them. I got the fries with the homemade aioli, which also came out hot and fresh. Really loved the food! Service could've been better but I feel for them as only 2 people were running around covering all the tables.

Walked in to live music, fun atmosphere, and several empty tables. My friend and I sat and watched as the servers were busy bussing tables and serving drinks. After 10 minutes of not getting greeted then watching a couple walk in and immediately get greeted and served, I made the choice to go elsewhere. I was so excited to try something new but not if the staff isn’t observant enough to see a couple sitting at a table in the middle of the room.

Tried to get dinner before a show…and spent over an hour and a half waiting for our food with no contact from any of the staff who walked by our table quite a few times. Totally understand an understaffed or slow kitchen situation, but literally any communication would have been nice. Had to eventually leave for our show without eating, but hey, got to enjoy one layer of their good beer selection. 🤷‍♂️

We went to the tavern and found it maybe half full. We waited to be seated for 5 to 10 minutes, and were never greeted. We proceeded to the bar to ask about seating and was told to wait for a table to come available (?) We offered to sit at one of the (many) empty tables that was not bussed yet. The bartender agreed, and said they would get it cleared "right away." We sat for 15 minutes (I clocked it) without anyone cleaning the table, greeting us, offering beverages or menus. Then we left. If they were to put forth the effort to invite me back, I would consider it, but I'm fairly sure that I've been there for the last time.

Went on Thursday. Wasn't ready for Bingo night. But had a blast, the food was legit! And drink choices were perfect. Definitely go, Cami runs a fun bingo.

This place has an open wall concept that was inviting to me. You seat yourself. Met a friend for lunch. Was not offered a soda selection. When the food came and I opened my silverware, it had a lot of food on it. My friend offered me hers and it was as equally gross. The food was nothing special, was bland and without flavor. I had the battered cauliflower and fries. I didn't eat most of it. Needless to say, I will not be returning.

So I wanted a hamburger and wanted to try a different spot. I was driving downtown and stopped at stop light on the corner of Parsons and Oak. I see this spot open and pull them up online, come to find out it's $5 Hamburger Monday. This $5 hamburger was the truth. Seasoned, well done, and juicy as df. Mother said her BBQ chicken wings were pretty good

I loved this place! I was visiting from out of town and met up with a friend who I hadn't seen in 30 years. The Olde Oak was a perfect place to meet! The food was excellent! I had a Mediterranean wrap and my friend had the Buffalo Chicken wrap. We were both impressed at how delicious our meals were! Also the music was not too loud. We didn't play pool, but there was a billiards table there. I recommend this place to people from 20-80 years old!

I disagree with being able to vape inside customers or staff neither should be able to do so ,, smoking and vaping are the same ,,just my opinion, otherwise the food and staff was pretty good

I was very disappointed. My food was half done. Service was ok. It can definitely be better. My bacon was burnt and my eggs were very runny. Do not recommend. I was hungover. Never visit again too high for bad food

Classic neighborhood bar. The menu has a variety of dietary offerings. The drink list is plentiful and the bartenders are skilled at making drinks. The food comes out pretty quickly and is portioned well.

rarely write reviews, however YOU have to go! It’s the coolest little spot in Old town east with amazing food. The buffalo Mac N’ Cheese is to die for. IT’S FIRE!! The service is Wonderful, I drop in all the time and the staff have become like family to me. Happy hour all weeks with great food specials. You’ll always feel welcomed and appreciated.

I love the food here. I’ve been eating here for years. I do want to point out you guys put sales tax on to go orders. Which is not a thing in Ohio. This should be corrected.

Really great food (much higher than average bar food) and really great service! Love burger Mondays and their constant rotating tap list. The servers are always really chill. Music isn't too loud, vibe is family friendly but also a place to get drinks after work.

Food was mediocre and so was the drinks. They weren’t bas but they weren’t good either. Waiter never came back and asked if we needed anything. Almost like they forgot us. Had to go up to the bar just to ask for checks then bring back up to pay. Customer service wasn’t bad but wasn’t good. Not very engaged with customers it seems. The place is beautiful though. Not sure if I’d go back.

Food was great service sucked. I guess there a shift change because our original server after not coming back to the table for a while we looked up and he's playing pool having drinks no explanation no nothing. We had a total of 3 different servers and it seemed no one was sure what was happening and the wait times for the check was extensive.

Nice place. I questioned going in at first due to the building and parking. But Its in an up and coming area on parson and broad. A diverse group of a people. And a welcoming chef named C J that made me feel at home and gave me a wondefful sample of homemade salsa that should be on the menu. The bartender poured a pefect mix of vodka and pineapple and for me a mock tale. I will definitely be back to try more items and you should should visit too. A rare find!!!!

1st time there. Unusual food combinations. Nothing on menu was appetizing so had to settle with a suggestion - a dish with eggs, sweet pot, bacon, spinach, some sauce. Wasnt bad, but wasnt good either. Server was polite and engaging - great sense of humor, which is a plus.

This place absolutely has great food but WORST service unless you know the owner. I was told on lunch menu what was ready to order . I asked about fish and chips and waitress told me not available. Then customer next to me ordered it no problem. Maybe don’t do that to a guest sitting right next to each other ? Very rude.

The good; they had tables available when the wait at Hangovereasy was 1 hour! The bad; the acoustics are terrible to have a conversation at this place . Our food was good but nothing spectacular. Beer was good and the overworked servers were very nice!

We love this place! Since discovering it four years ago, we’ve returned time and time again for tasty breakfast, brunch and lunch meals. The food is always delicious and in just the right quantity. The original drinks are delectable — especially the new house-made Bloody Mary mix. Best of all, we’ve made friends with the bartenders and waitstaff because they are ever efficient and friendly. We will head to Open Mike Night for even more personality!

The bar is always filled with wonderful people. And Dani the bartender is one of the best bartenders I've encountered in this city! 5 stars

Excellent brunch menu with mimosas and beer on tap! Unfortunately out of the Daybreak coffee ale from Wolf's ridge but the food was excellent and they had lots of good happy hour deals ALL day for Sunday. Will likely be back!

Food was great as always, bartender busting a** with running bar, taking orders, clearing tables, and cashing people out. Female server has no sense of urgency, barely helping at all, understanding of staffing issue but she obviously should not be in this business. I have yet to see her actually serve. Have been here an hour and a half for hot dog and fries. Need more staff like the male bartender today. Many people frustrated even with all things considered. Had to go next door to get cash from ATM because was done waiting to be closed out over 30 mins.

We always have a good time here. I usually get the wings and attend wing night. Tender, good amount of sauce. Service can pretty much keep up with a busy atmosphere. Recommend.

Came here for the first time with my family to have a quick dinner, service was slow and sporadic at best. As a server myself that wouldn’t bother me as I understand being caught up with things but the main reason for my review is the fact that our server when handing my friend her meal who was sitting next to me (she got the barbecue wings) swiped the basket against my back and got barbecue sauce all over my shirt and in the end of my hair but did not say anything to me. I had no barbecue sauce around me the entire night except for that occasion. I went to the bathroom with my friend who then told me about all the sauce that was on my the back of my shirt and on the ends of my hair. I don’t know if our server saw it or not but from what I saw it seemed difficult to have gotten that much on someone without noticing meaning that she served my friend her food knowing it had passed through my hair.
