My place to go when I want to grab a quick bite. I love their burgers and their cottage fries. Good drinks and a nice environment. Their daily dishes also are very good and give a different option to the regular menu!

I have been hearing so much about Press Grill from friends. So one night my wife and I stopped by on a Tuesday night around 8pm. It wasn't busy, it was a little on the cozy side. We tryed the Buffalo wings, a Double cheeseburger and loaded wedge fries. The wings were great, but the blue cheese seemed watery, so i wasn't a fan of that. The burger was a little smaller than I thought, but it tasted great. The loaded wedges were good. We also tryed a few different tequilas. Overall, we had a great time and the food was delicious.

Very reasonably priced food downtown. Especially recommend the pizza, which was surprisingly good, and the burger which was fresh and tasty. Do not recommend the adobo pork sandwich which was dry and underseasoned. Solid service.

This place is easily one of my new favorites! The food is absolutely delicious. The atmosphere is dope. The service is nothing short of pleasant. I took my spouse one night after work and we ordered the salmon sandwich with onion rings. When I tell you, that sandwich and rings was Sooooo good! We came back the next day for seconds haha! Perfect place for a first date. Good portions at a good price. Drinks are STIFF! love to see it!

Nice small restaurant/bar for fast service. It's a bit small and wouldn't be ideal for a large group but the food was pretty good. The "press burger" is amazing and the menu overall is very affordable.

Crowded but moved fast! Everyone was coordinated and had the place synchronized! My Prime Rib French Dip sandwich platter was great! My out of country friends' first encounter with Joel was total professionalism! Great experience for us all.

2nd time coming in late night. 2nd time BLOWN AWAY by the amazing burger! Hard to believe this level of food is available late night! Food Network should come here! Much respect to the chef. You guys kill the burger game and vibes! Can’t wait for time #3

Went on a date-night with the lady. This was my first time eating at Press Grill. Had to wait to get seated for a lil bit, but I understood why. They were practicing the covid-19 social distancing. Each seat is separated by a plexiglass screen for your safety. It was pretty busy, but we got serviced in a decent amount of time. We started off with a couple of Old Fashions with Old Forrester whiskey. Delicious!! I had the homemade meatloaf sandwich with homemade potato salad. Both were definite on point. The LIC had the pesto grilled chicken sandwich on brioche with Mac-n-cheese. This was a good choice for a first time visit. I'll definitely be back.

One of my favorite “hole in the wall” spots in Columbus. Always open until 1am which is nice if it’s late and you want to grab food. Service is always great. Servers and bartenders are always so friendly. Buffalo shrimp and Po Boy are my favorites.

I had high hopes because this place had good reviews. Went there on a busy Sunday night. I noticed EH Taylor (a very good bourbon) on the menu. I asked the waitress if they had it which she replied yes. After waiting awhile (because they were busy and short staffed) I watched her searching for it among the bourbon collection and then she poured something else. She served it as if nothing happened and didn't mention anything. I told her it didn't taste correct and requested to see the bottle. That never happened. I also ordered a steak that was overcooked. Because of the dishonesty and slow service I don't recommend this place.

Best wings in Columbus (maybe in Ohio?) I like hot wings , but the waitress recommended medium and it was a great suggestion. Medium was perfect blend of heat and flavor - perfect crunch too. Great job!

My burger was cooked to perfection and the pizza was pretty good per my buddy. The only complaint is the food took a tad long to arrive otherwise it was a solid spot.

After 10pm food, was able to satisfy a picky teenager, and extremely reasonable prices! Service was just WONDERFUL. Also, I had the grilled Havarti and a small wedge salad. It was perfect.

Press grill is one of the best kept secrets in the Short North. It's been here for longer than most. Any other business and has remained mostly the same since it opened. I've been going to it almost religiously for the last 16 years and it's always felt like home. The food is good. Very inexpensive. The atmosphere is quaint laid back non-pretentious like a lot of other places in the short north. If you're looking for a bar with good food and good prices that's laid back and everyone is pleasant and kind. This is the place for you. I've made more friends here than I have anywhere else in the short north. Just having a cheeseburger. Definitely stop by because it's one of the best places in the city!

Amazing low-key hangout with great sandwiches, friendly staff, and good drinks with several beers on tap (including the much-loved Elvis Juice). Pesto Chicken sandwich is delicious, and I have officially deemed their onion rings the best in the city. Its a small, hole-in-the-wall spot that shouldnt be looked over when in the Short North.

Dropped in the night before we left town and had the best waitress I’ve ever had. Very attentive, great energy and just a joy to talk to. The manager (I believe) was also helping and being just as positive as she was. We came just before closing time and they still provided excellent service. I’m from Georgia and have traveled the world, this experience is one I’ll never forget. Well done Press Grill!

As a visitor to Columbus, I found Press Grill to be a real gem among all the hyped places in Short North. Unlike most of the places on High Street, this one has a neighborhood feel. The bartenders and managers were nice. I'd describe the food as an expanded bar menu, and it's very good. There's a decent beer selection, though only a handful of drafts.

Delicious shrimp po-boy and slaw not pictured! Wonderful staff and real bar and grill atmosphere welcomed me immediately. Great beers on tap and somehow every song on the jukebox was a flashback delight. Come here to eat and talk over a beer.

Tried the Press Grill for the first time this evening and it was by far one of the best places I’ve ever ate. The waitress Destiny was amazing. The food was absolutely delicious! The atmosphere rocked. We got food to go for lunch tomorrow. Don’t judge us. We may even come back this week. Yes..because it was that good! Side note: I’m not a good photographer so my pics aren’t great but that food..was amazing!! Not included was the wings we tried…they were incredible..just devoured them before a pic was taken. 😄

We were looking for a place for dinner but every restaurant had at least an hour wait. So we checked out press grill. Cocktails were awesome and the food was delish. Really enjoyed the New Lebanon - Philla style pizza. Wait staff was fantastic as well!

Went in Saturday & Sunday around 11:30pm both nights after Sonic Temple . Saturday walked in , we (3)were seated immediately . One of the best bacon cheeseburgers I’ve had in a while . Great onion rings too . Had Oreo mousse pie & snickers pie . Both are amazing. Made a fresh pot of coffee for me . Waitress was phenomenal. She didn’t stop for a minute while we were there . Sunday was a little busier. We (3) were told 30 min give or take for a seat . Got us in in about 10 min . Burgers were very good , a little well done . Onion rings were also a little well done . I was told no coffee pot is down cleaned & sterilized. Although she scrounged up a cup of coffee for me . 🙏 A total win in my book !!! Highly recommended !!! We’ll be back in August for the Mopar Nationals .

Had a great lunch here with my daughter. We had calamari for an appetizer. I had a burger and fries and my daughter had pizza, everything was great. Service was excellent! Will definitely be back.

Traveling from 2,200 miles away with a coworker. We ate here Monday night and the burgers/wings were fantastic. We grabbed lunch on Friday before the airport, the French Dip with the Loaded Cottage Fries are top notch and highly recommend.

Thought the food here was decent. Burger was good but I wasn’t a fan of the wings.

Excellent local bar with great food options. Stopped for lunch and the sandwiches did not disappoint. Good size portions. Onions rings were best I had in a while.

I don't have anything negative to say about this place! I ordered the adobo pulled pork sandwich, and it tasted great. The wings, loaded fries, onion rings, turkey club sandwich were all great as well! Our waitress was on top of it, and she spoke loud and clear which was appreciated! I would prefer if the Sandwiches at least came with chips or something small of that nature, but the prices for sandwiches are just for itself and sides are additional cost. The quality was really good as well!

Best Wings in Columbus? Probably. Meatloaf? Ridiculous. Service? Epic. The decor in the place kinda gives off a "why try" vibe, but who cares. You didn't come here for the artsy decor. I'd rate it 4.7, but we don't have that option. If you're after great dive bar food and very decent drink list, here is your spot.

Heard Kayne West ate hear one time so I decided to check it out. The food was great. Like I’ve always said gotta separate the food from the artist. Will be back to try chocolate cake I was to full to try cause I ate too many wings and got heart burn.

I give this a 2 only because I didn't have a good experience the second time around. When my husband and I first walked in and sat down at the bar, no one came over right away to greet us and ask what we were eating or drinking, my husband ask the bartender a friendly question and he didn't answer him! A older gentleman walked in and set close to us, same bartender rushed over to him and waited on him first then turned to us to ask what we would like. I was excited to get back here because a couple of weeks ago I had a smoked turkey club which was sooo good. I told the bartender that's what I wanted and I also told him I have a shellfish allergy, his response was we are super busy tonight and we don't have time to clean the flat skillet grill off or otherwise I would have them clean the whole thing off for you, I just don't want you to get sick. I have never been told from a restaurant we can't clean the area/grill/stove/oven off because we are too busy. Super disappointed!!! Their food is really good and I will not go back there because of the lack of customer service.

Absolutely love this place. Staff is always nice, the food comes fast and always tastes fresh. This is the perfect place to eat if you want to walk High Street but not pay an absurd amount on dinner.

This place was great! We came into town for a concert wanted something close. Found this place had a great NY strip and some awesome handmade Mac n cheese. Staff were wonderful.

So wonderful that a place like this still exists in Columbus. Great, simple fare for a great price. A burger shouldn’t have to cost 30 bucks to taste good. It’s a burger, and this place holds true to that while making outstanding food. Never change, press grill. Never change ❤️

While this is just a regular bar with bar fare, it gets 5 stars for consistently providing well made drinks and outrageously good bar food. I've been coming here for years and I've never eaten bad food or had a bad experience. They do dinner specials most nights a week, and they keep the menu simple. There are Nathan's hot dogs, and then there are Press Grill Nathan's hot dogs. Trust me.

Probably the best triple decker club I ever had. The pot salad was great too! I would consider this a local dive bar with food next to the $300 steak places. Def a good place for cheaper drinks and home cooking.
