I don't have the words to describe this place. I've eaten here twice now and have left in awe both times. The service is top notch, our server was extremely knowledgeable about all the dishes and how they were prepared. She had the perfect cocktail and wine recommendations for everyone and our meals. The service alone could have earned M a 5 star from me. This is not hyperbole, I have never eaten better food in my life. Everything from the lamb, to the steak, to the side of Mac and cheese was superb. I can't recommend M more highly. This is my favorite restaurant, period.

M is one of the best restaurants in Columbus. The food is great, ambiance is chic and the service is exceptional. Must try the Lamb Chops and the Shrimp appetizer. Both were superb. The coffee and donuts desert was out of the world so was the cookies.. Freshly mad e and really small. But very tasty.. Highly recommended for special occasions.

Presentation was eye art and everything tasted as great as it looked. Staff was helpful. Will go again. Restaurant is fairly small and intimate, reservations are must. Would love to watch fireworks from their outdoor patio.

A lovely meal in an upscale atmosphere. Service was outstanding. The salmon was prepared perfectly. The strip steak was slightly more than medium, but absolutely delicious. As we celebrated our 21st anniversary, taking in the beautiful view of downtown Columbus, M made the experience a memorable one.

I will start by saying my dining party loved their food. I was throughly underwhelmed with mine. I ordered the halibut special and the halibut was overcooked and underseasoned. I ordered the black orchid cocktail because it was a signature, it was very pretty and very sweet (too sweet for my tastes). The Cesar salad was wonderful and the white anchovies (optional) were a great addition. It was a little loud for a formal restaurant and the decor was odd, making it rather hard to get in and out from the table. Our server was attentive, when I did not get a drink that I ordered she made sure to bring it at the very end but not charge me for it. I might return again if I were in the area to try somethine else from the menu since all others in my party did really enjoy their meal.

I expect the food to be WOW but it's just Meh. It's very salty and full of butter. Restaurant is fancy, food presentation is beautiful but taste is euww. Really disappointed with the price I paid. Tldr: don't get scallops, don't get veal mignon, get blue orchid cocktails, get strawberry under glass. Good luck finding the entree that's not salty.

The food was amazing, the service was horrible. Our waitress had tons of excuse to go with her apologies, but many things were her fault. Fine dinning is mostly about the service and she was inept. They actually were rearranging furniture directly next to us while we were ending our Mother's Day meal. I thought they were going to break out the vacuum. I tipped the waitress very little, but I gave the rest of what would be her tip to the Valet for getting me the hell out of there

This is the first time I've been to this restaurant. My husband has been here once before and suggested it'd be a great place to go for his birthday, so we decided to take the drive from Clarion PA to come have dinner here. I must say, it was worth every mile. When we got there, the manager was very friendly and had us seated immediately after confirming our reservation. The waiter came and took our drink and appetizer order right away. We got the Pork Belly appetizer, and it came out promptly, as well as our drinks. It was just amazing. The meat melts in your mouth, the cauliflower and beets were just right, and the sauce with it was perfect. Our drinks came out, the Black Orchid cocktail, which was touted as being one of their best drinks. I can see why. It tasted amazing, has a very nice floral aroma, and wasn't overly alcohol forward. The added flower frozen in ice was a nice touch, and made it very pleasing. We ordered our dinners, I got the Steak in a Bowl "Rossini Style" with asparagus on the side, and my husband got the Veal Roulade. The steak came out cooked perfectly medium rare, bits of blue cheese with the potatoes in a wonderful sauce, and the foie gras on top was just an amazing touch! I can't wait to go again to try the Veal Roulade for myself, but I'm told it is very good as well, as this is the second time he's had it! The asparagus is something amazing on it's own. It is cooked perfectly and has bits of truffle shaved over it with a wonderful mix of parmigiano-reggiano on top. It might seem a bit expensive at first glance, but really, for the flavor and perfection of how the asparagus is cooked, it's not. The most amazing part of the whole dinner was desert. The waiter came over and told us that the manager was covering for our desert, since we traveled all the way from PA to come eat here. My husband ordered the Passion Under Glass, and I ordered the Coffee & Donuts. When desert came out, we were both speechless. I couldn't believe how soft and flavorful the beignets were, and the strawberry sauce was a perfect companion to them! The Espresso Semi Freddo was so smooth and creamy, had a wonderful balance of chocolate to coffee flavor, and felt like it was hand spun. (perhaps it is!) I had a taste of the Passion Under Glass and was stunned by the flavors. I wouldn't even know how to begin to describe how refreshing and light it all tasted. As we left the restaurant, the manager again wished my husband a happy birthday and safe travels on our way home. We are both very impressed with both the quality and professionalism here, and will definitely be making this a regular for special occasions!

This is THE best spot in columbus. They have amazing waitstaff, top class bartenders, and everything they put in front of you - food or drink is high quality. The happy hour here is really good, and they also do prix-fixe events centered around spirit and/or wine with food pairings. Just went for red white and boom and the view was awe inspiring.
