👍 Steep prices I get times are hurting but dang, over $5 for a NY style slice just doesn’t sit right with me for some reason. The atmosphere was nice but this place definitely could be more. This is one of those restaurants where I have no clue what they want to be, and still have a hard time putting... People often mention pizza, slice, good, slices, sauce, ordered, late, time, vegan, cheese,

Steep prices I get times are hurting but dang, over $5 for a NY style slice just doesn’t sit right with me for some reason. The atmosphere was nice but this place definitely could be more. This is one of those restaurants where I have no clue what they want to be, and still have a hard time putting a mental label on what kind of restaurant it is. Nonetheless it isn’t a bad place to go

The customer service here is awful but the food selection is excellent. My step father attempted to order me (a vegan for 7 years) wings and I 100% guarantee that what I bit into was chicken. Not seitan like was promised me, if you look at the picture the texture is completely wrong for a seitan wing they are definitely chicken but because a manager claimed to have packaged them personally they refused to listen to my concern or do anything to reassure me that they were infact they vegan wings my step father ordered. Nothing on the package indicates that they are vegan or vegetarian which leads me to further suspicions about the meaty quality of these wings. Perhaps this will be a plus to somebody but as an ethical vegan for 7 years I would really feel disgusted with myself if I took another bite of these wings. As such I rated this place I really wanted to like very low as I said I would to the person on the phone because their customer facing motto seems to be to declare themselves right instead of attempting to assist in any way. I might suggest a label on their vegan items to show they were packaged correctly or some other indicator that this was what I ordered and not the deep fried flesh of another being.

Haven’t been to this Mikey’s Late Nite Slice in a while. My coworkers and I recently had an outing and this location. Whimsically decorated and spacious. You may sit at their elongated bar on high chairs, they have a few booths, or chaired tables. I ordered their signature Unicorn Punch that was deliciously flavorful and with a few more you do feel the punch. I had a few slices of cheese. I also ordered their skittle flavored Jell-O shots. Nice and friendly service. Thanks, Jay! Parking for a fee in front of the restaurant, across the street, or around the corner. Decent prices.

The pizza is good, if a bit over priced at $25+. Reason for three star deduction is the extremely rude security. I didn’t know masks were required. Security “are you coming in with a mask or what?” Me “ oh there back? I’ll go grab it” Security “Anyone that isn’t walking around with a mask on them is a problem.” Security could have just told me that masks were mandatory in a professional manner. I brushed it off and grabbed my mask. When I got inside another security guard proceeded to scream about not getting in line properly. “HOW IS THIS HARD STAND OVER HERE!” Overall a really high stress pizza ordering experience. Won’t be back.

Not my favorite pizza in Columbus but really good if you're looking for a late night place to eat. Cool atmosphere in the heart of downtown too. Also really affordable which is nice.

Really cool atmosphere. The cashier was training someone new. She was patient and thorough. These are NEW YORK size slices of pizza. Great tasting New York style pizza.

Ordered a pizza to go. Called it in. Still waited 40 minutes. The line took ages, the staff seemed very stressed and under pressure. The security guard out front was very polite and definitely was doing his best. He did have to shoo away some homeless that were harassing people. Everyone there was definitely kind and I definitely didn’t have any issues with them. That wait outside was definitely uncomfortable though. Unicorn sauce is the best though. I feel like filling a bathtub with it and bathing myself in its glory.

LOVE this Hot Chicken Takeover colab pizza. They only do it once a year and it's so good! The chicken has a nice kiss of heat. The sauce and crust have a delicious garlic flavor. Huge slices! My only complaint was the pickles were missing this time 🙈 luckily we had some on hand to add. Still very delicious!

Always stop by here after a show at the Ohio or Southern. Fantastic pizza. My small wish would be to have slightly more options. The unique pizzas seem to run out quickly and take long to make. The pepp and cheese are delicious at least. Also the cheesy garlic bread! Ask about their BBC

The pizza was ok, besides there were parts that had no sauce and some that had too much sauce. And the bread sticks were dry, pretty flat, and hard to chew. The flavor was there but not the quality. Sadly, we were disappointed with this location.

I visited this location around 9:30PM on a Friday and I was in and out. The staff was professional and there were on-site armed security so I felt safe being in the downtown area. This location offers the “thicc cut” pepperoni slices and I was honestly impressed. The slices were huge, thin crust, with just the right amount of crispy yet greasy pepperonis. Reminded me of New York style pizza except it needed more cheese! Really good.

Mikey's doesn’t strive to be the pristine white glove restaurant. More like the New York neighborhood after-hours joint where everybody just drops in for their favorite slice. They nailed the atmosphere. Food is good with many choices, including vegan. I had the Spicy Pepperoni. Yes! Oh, and I don't know his name, but the young man on the register was an outstanding and patient server. 👌

Mikey's has some of the best New York style pizza around, hands-down. Having lived in the NYC area for a decade, one of the things I deeply miss are the slices I used to get at the local pizzerias. After moving back to Ohio, I looked for something similar, but there was always something just a little off. However, I found what I was looking for at Mikey's! I even brought my wife here, who is a native New Yorker, and she agreed. If you're looking for a great slice (albeit with NY style prices - around $5 a slice) this is the place to go.

Stopped by after a concert after our trip to Columbus. Not much was open so we stopped in since it was close to our hotel. Service was quick and very friendly. The pizza was fantastic! Huge slices that filled us up very quick. A little on the pricey side but it was still worth it and I'd definitely go back again.

The pizza 🍕 was good. It was kind of annoying, though, because you can build your own pizza, and when we asked for the specified toppings, which was shown on the menu, the guy making the pizzas said we could only get whatever they had already made. If that's the case, then don't have whole pies with toppings you can add to it on the menu...

Ordered online on Labor Day (Monday), after I ordered I went to my car and found out battery is dead, so while waiting for someone to come and jump the car, called them at least 20 times trying to tell them to hold off on the pizza and bake later. No one picked up, so I thought, it must be super busy. An hour later, was finally able to go and pick up, it was empty inside, the two servers were just sitting at the bar chatting, and when one of them saw me she came over and grabbed the two pizzas and threw them on the counter and went back to chat, so go figure, not eating there again after that experience. Especially when their pizzas are already overpriced

The place has an awesome atmosphere and very friendly workers! The pizza is definitely above average but the real treat is the unicorn sauce. It's unlike any other pizza establishments sauce. I really had a great time coming here with friends, I recommend others try it out and do the same.

Firstly I had order a pizza through door dash a few months back which wasn't the greatest. I figured it was door dash and chopped it up to that. But this pizza that I ordered yesterday exceeded my expectations. I don't know where to begin. I had never had such a perfect pizza. Everything from the dough to the cheese, sauce, pepperoni, etc. I couldn't even take a whole picture of the pie cause I had already devoured most of the pizza. Mike's Late Night Slice is expensive, but it sooooo worth it! If you haven't tried this pizza you need to seriously try it. If you haven't had it in awhile you need to seriously try it again. Definitely one of the best pizza's in Columbus.

So they do not have a very large menu and the food for the price is average as best. The decorations are pretty cool and the staff were great. Just not the place you go for High Quality anything.

Today I went to Mikey's for pizza. They were scheduled to open at 4pm and ran over a couple of minutes. When the worker opened the door he told me I will need a mask to enter (no greeting). I forgot my mask so I used my shirt before he said something to me. Key lesson- they do not have extra masks at this location, so make sure to bring one <3 I walked to my job to get one, came back to order and asked a different worker if the pizza had ham on it? Her response "Just cheese and tomato's." Tried it when I got to work, ham was a topping. I am not a fan of ham, but it's cool. While checking me out she did not ask if I wanted anything else, instantly gave me a total. That lessens more sales and customer service. I asked for sauces they did not have time to put the pump out nor did they check their fountain drink stock (black cherry was out). All that to say that this could be a one time experience, be ready to open. Not turning the TV on at 4pm. Everything should be ready to go and if not make sure the customer is greeted/acknowledged.. From someone who works in the food industry.

Drinks until late. They like vintage sodas availed for purchase that taste so good. It's a hidden bar at the bottom, but do t try to take food in there because ether won't allow it. I love the pizza. The Buffalo chicken vegan pizza was disgusting but the spicy pepperoni is a HITTTTTT!!!!

Things I do: Eat pizza. Things I don’t do: Leave bad reviews. Normally I’d just keep my mouth shut and move on but this was absurd. I come from the land of New York City where pizza and convenience is plentiful, so maybe my opinion here is skewed. In NY, pizza is cheap and easily accessible. At Mikey’s late night, pizza is expensive and difficult. Somehow they have applied every barrier possibly to achieving a drunken slice of cheese. It started with the security guard not letting me in to a nearly empty establishment, only to abandon her post so that she could eat, then it was a free-for-all. After that I embarked on a long slow journey to the front of the line to acquire a slice of cheese. Another arduous process. I will not be revisiting this establishment. I’d rather wait for my oven to preheat so that I can enjoy a delicious Red Baron personal pizza. As you can tell I have low standards and the late night slice failed to meet those expectations. I suggest their management team take a deep dive in to the movie “the founder” so that they can improve workflows and expedite their product. Or dont. I don’t care. I would like to clarify that their staff was friendly and was working diligently to satisfy all of the customers.

Cool vibes. Great pizza. Unicorn sauce is massively overrated, but that's okay. Sodas here are a little bit of a hidden gem. Staff is very cool except for the "Security" guy that's just over 5ft tall, just barely old enough to drive, but still has the audacity to call women he doesn't know "sweetheart" in a most condescending way. Misogyny isn't cool.

I live in Seattle now and literally fly back 1-2 times a year just to have this pizza with my friends who still live in the area. That's about $700 and 2k miles per trip to eat this pizza and enjoy the "casual punk" vibes. That should tell you how much I love this place... And now they're available on Goldbelly!!!

Showed up at 8pm on a Saturday. We wanted to get in and out and only ordered pizzas by the slice that was available when we ordered. There were a couple of people ahead of us but overall it wasn't busy. It took 35 minutes for our food to come out. Staff kept pulling pies from the oven and stacking them on racks for later. Perhaps they were understaffed? The food was good but the service was slow. If you go, lower your expectations.

Used to love this place. Between pandemic and becoming a parent we haven't gone out nearly as much and it has been about 2 years since we have been here. So first off the dinning room was not very clean. But the worst part was waiting about 40 Minutes for a slice of pizza. As a former restaurant manager I could not believe the lack of urgency to get food out. Seriously your business model is pizza by the slice and you failed at executing that in a reasonable time frame.

The pizza is honestly amazing, the potato slice with bacon - 💯. The inside staff was nicely doing their best and one of the security guards was also quietly helping everyone along. That being said, it’s hard to market yourself as a late night slice place when it takes almost an hour to serve ~15 people at 130a. In the end it was worth the wait, but a female security guard working that evening was nonchalantly telling everyone in line that they may close before anyone got any food, leading people to bail without even waiting. She was also casually bragging about her new taser - not a good look. I read some other reviews and it looks like staffing is still a struggle, which I totally understand given the present situation. The majority of the staff was nice, but there didn’t seem to be a lot of urgency and the one security guard kind of killed the vibe for a lot of people.

It's a pizza by the slice place. Can't go wrong with it. It's not the best pizza you'll have, but also not the worst.

Best around and in town. Large slices and the price is the nicest. Great toppings and unique ingredients. The pizza is so tasty. I also love their art gallery. This place is so fun and up beat. Great vibes . The sauces they offer are also very premium. Like, they are so good they are the best. It's also fun to get rick rolled on the way back from the bathroom.
