Fantastic service and a really great menu with some traditional Italian dishes. Delicious cocktails to go with the good food too! Can't wait to come back!

Great place! I ordered the carbonara and loved it, very satisfied with my choice. Others at my table ordered the chicken Parmesan, meatball with fettuccine, and mushroom ravioli. I think the flavor in the carbonara was the best and the other dishes were good, but with other delicious Italian restaurants in the area, I feel like it would be unfair to give the dishes here 5 stars. Very good food, and fairly priced. If you want to go for dinner, make sure to make a reservation…especially on the weekend!

The happy hour is great here! The pizza were delicious and so were the drinks. The Tuscan limanata was my favorite drink, and the crispy potato or pepperoni were my favorite pizzas. The service was also excellent.

Had a reservation for happy hour 4-6pm, got seated right away at 5:30! Staff was very friendly and quick. Half off apps so we got the meatball, sausage & peppers, burrata, and 4 cheese pizza, and everything was phenomenal! Parking on high street can be tough but there are garages nearby and a few sidestreets with meters. Great experience!

After checking out the new Ginger Rabbit Jazz Lounge, I wanted real Italian food. For me, good food is like water, and fortunately been spoiled with dining at great Italian on my trips throughout the US and abroad, so it isn’t my normal to give 5 stars for Italian and are earned with a smile. Got the Gnocchi con Bolognese and it was everything I was hoping for - paired with the Malbec, Antigal Winery and Estates, “UNO". Absolutely smashing pairing, really enjoyed the ambiance. The service was great - yet another Cameron Mitchell gem in the city.

Came here with friends and it was the perfect atmosphere! All of the food we ordered was great, absolutely no complaints. We came during happy hour and the prices were great. All appetizers, soup/salad, pizzas, and wine under (I think) $9 were half off. You can’t go wrong with that! My pizza was very large and had plenty of toppings. It is a large restaurant with plenty of seating. We went around 5:00pm on a Thursday and it was packed. Many people were waiting to be seated, but we had reservations so were seated immediately. That is something you probably want to consider. Parking was a bit difficult.

We had dinner at Marcella’s before an event at Nationwide. Glad we went early, because it filled up shortly after we arrived. Their Restaurant Week offerings were very good—and very generous! We started with Arancini and the Meatball. Both were full-sized servings—very sizable portions. I had the Caesar salad and my husband had Marcella’s Salad. We both enjoyed them very much. Then I had Salmon Puttanesca and my husband had Chicken Parm. This was the most generous meal we’ve had for RW, and we both took leftovers home! Thank you Cameron Mitchell Restaurants for another excellent meal. We are looking forward to Columbus Fish Market tonight!

You know when a restaurant is going to be great when you walk in and you see stacks of freshly baked breads upon entry. Every single item that we tasted was absolutely exquisite and the service was top notch (thanks Gianna). I highly recommend the veal meatball, prosciutto pizza, and the delicious gnocchi con bolognese. They have a really great wine menu and you can get various tastings in different pour sizes. The atmosphere is very lively and buzzy but I found the chairs to be a little small and the tables a bit too close together, but this is a minor infraction that can easily be overlooked once you taste the delicious food.

Went for a birthday dinner, hostess was warm and inviting our server Nick even better, very attentive and accurate. Calamari a little chewy but decent. Dinner also very good. Restaurant kinda tight and it noisy so hard to hold conversation if you have a larger party. Drinks just okay. Service A1…. Food pretty decent. I’d go back.

Marcella's is such a cozy and dim lit spot to enjoy your delicious dinner. We loved the music played at this restaurant and the food was top notch. One must try the tomato basil soup with some bread sticks on the side. They also serve authentic Italian flatbread with various options for toppings. We loved our experience at this restaurant

Every thing at this place was okay to good. Nothing was bad by any means. However I didn't think anything was great to amazing. Everything however was kind of expensive lowering my rating significantly. Honestly would rather go to North Market then here. But that is me.

I was in town for work and this place was absolutely fantastic. Every portion of the meal was delicious. The server was also one of the most knowledgeable ones I've ever met, making the experience that much better. And the place was definitely popular. I would absolutely recommend and would go back.

This place was great! It was fun for a nice birthday dinner date, and our server was super fun and kinda. The baked rigatoni was delicious I highly recommend. I highly recommend. I didn’t get a picture, but adding the meatball to a dish is an extra $10. Given, the meatball is a large size, I just don’t think it’s good enough to warrant the extra money personally, but it was very fun and delicious overall!!

The gluten-free ravioli was out of this world, they even have gluten-free bread for pre-meal upon request. The fried risotto and mozzarella was out of this world scrumptiously delicious. Last but certainly not least, the Strawberry Cheesecake is the best I’ve ever had. The cheesecake was so creamy and the crust was made to perfection. Our food was great and we will be back next time we are in Columbus.

Amazing service and amazing food. By far the best Alfredo sauce I've ever had. I had my husband order the meatball and pasta thinking I didn't like Alfredo, and wound up eating more of his then mine! So delicious we almost came back twice in two days!

Good atmosphere and food was delicious! Pricing wasn't as crazy as I had planned for all of the hype I had heard. Bread with Olive oil and vinegar to start, candlelit table setting, very dim and warm lighting. Went for a bday dinner, but will be coming back for the romantic atmosphere and delicious menu. A glass of wine looked super small, so be sure to get a whole bottle (they will re-cork it for you).

Consistently consistent, Marcella’s is a dependable source of a good dinner on any given night. The happy hour deals being the best part. Really good for the price.

Food was absolutely incredible. Our server was very personable and gave great recommendations since this was our first time here. We had reservations for 4PM, which was great because it was happy hour. 1/2 off appetizers, cocktails, wine by the glass, and much more. Pictured is sweet Italian sausage, melted pecorino cheese with crostini, apple and honey, penne alla vodka with blackened chicken, chicken Parmesan, and strawberry cheesecake. Make reservations. This place filled up fast on a weekday!!!

Another fabulous restaurant from Cameron Mitchell. The food was amazing and the staff were exceptional! I was there on a Saturday evening so it was very busy. Fortunately we had reservations and I would definitely recommend on unless you like waiting. Although the food is somewhat upscale, the vibe is very casual and there was quite a variety of dress styles while we were there. Our group tried different menu items so we were able to sample a lot of their offerings. I can't say there is anything on the menu that isn't wonderful. Can't wait to go back!

Scratch kitchen! Every bite was delicious appetizer bread with Brussels sprouts, pistachios, honey and lemon (delicious) Eggplant parmesan stacked cooked to perfection with tiramisu for dessert (must share) Perfect to large portions- good energy in the restaurant and excellent service; this is truly a must try. Please disregard me being unable to restrain myself from eating part of my food before the photo 😄

Never disappointed here!! We showed up at 4pm for an early dinner on Sunday, got seated right away. Ambiance is amazing. Parking is rough, but welcome to literally everywhere else in the short north. We got the Carbonara, Rigatoni, Alfredo with Meatball, and Bruschetta.

Absolutely top notch. I have tried various Italian restaurants in Columbus but nothing came even closer to Marcella’s. Every item I ordered felt like a celebration to my taste buds. Can’t praise enough. 4 stars for atmosphere since we had to wait a long time even when we had reserved table in advance and I didn’t like the table where I was seated.

Great meal, service, and atmosphere. They were nice enough to hold our reservation as we were stuck in OSU traffic. Our waitress Jasmine was great.

I don't know if i should be sharing this but I believe I saw the best service I've ever seen in my life here. Also... every single thing that was brought to the table was delicious. The wait staff were all friendly and attentive, but the thing that put Marcella's over the top is... one member of our party looked at the menu and said, "No steak? I really wanted a steak." The waiter didn't miss a beat and said that Marcella's had a sister restaurant with steak and he could send out for one! My friend sat at this beautiful restaurant and ate a perfectly cooked steak from a different restaurant while we enjoyed our Italian. The most baller thing I've seen in years.

We were seated quickly even though there was a crowd. Service was exceptionally courteous. Appetizers and bread were brought to the table super fast and mixed drinks were superb!

Service was absolutely wonderful Aaron and the rest of the crew wonderful and busting their butts. Food is not that good and way over rated. Worst Gnocchi as well as my wife's Chicken Picata, Quite simply, nasty! Would have been better off at Olive Garden which is far from Italian! Very disappointed as we were looking so forward to a good Italian dish.

Absolutely amazing Italian food, and stellar service!! My one and only "issue" is when I needed to use the restroom, the walk was so uncomfortable due to the large amount of people and the tiny walkway and servers coming out of the same path was extremely overwhelming for my neurodivergent self. Please don't let that deter you from eating here though, the food is STELLAR and the cocktails are some of the best in the short north! Will be back for certain!

Restaurant is small with little room to walk especially on a busy night. Difficulties getting to the bathroom. However, food is delicious and makes up for any inconvenience. Ordered ravioli which was light and refreshing with cream sauce instead of marinara. Tasted a meatball which melts in your mouth. So tender and flavorful. Will return. Believe they offered half off bottles of wine on Sundays!

I just recently hosted a luncheon for 25 guests at Marcella's in the Short North. Luke, the manager, went out of his way to accommodate our party, including printed menus, changing the date to a Sunday due to a funeral updating my guest list number. We had the restaurant to ourselves and it was perfect! Dia, our server, handled the group like a true professional. She rearranged the tables, printed more menus, anticipated bringing out carryout boxes for the desserts, and even cut my bouquet of flowers to fit my vase. The atmosphere, cleanliness, food, and service were wonderful. I highly recommend Marcella's. It was a beautiful experience.

Marcella’s was a fantastic experience, from the food to the service and ambiance/ music. I enjoyed every minute in Marcella’s. Grapefruit fizz was a great drink to have while eating amazing bruschetta& melon and Calamari. I got the gnocchi con bolognese, the portion size is perfect and delicious. We split a chicken Parmesan, not too heavy, tasty and crispy. I would recommend Marcella’s to anyone.

This is a great place for family dining or out of town guests. Solid food options and a fun atmosphere although the music is always too loud for any meaningful conversation. They are great with kids and brought cut mellon and grapes when the mains were running late which was really helpful. Overall a solid choice in Columbus.

This was my first time at Marcella’s and my boyfriends second time. We have Julia as our server and she was so kind, nice and helped us enjoy our dinning experience. The food was amazing. My boyfriend is Italian and won’t eat Italian at a restaurant because no one can cook it like his mom did but he loves this place. He loved the food. If you come you have to try their meatballs and handmade pastas. Definitely recommend you have to try.

The food was fantastic! Best sauce and meatball I've ever had! It was that good! This place is a MUST, but sit at a table. We sat at the bar (4 of us), and the bartenders were not a friendly bunch. I thought it was just me, but they were equally disinterested in all patrons. As for the food....YUM!! So good!

  • 5/5 Jordan L. 1 year ago on Google
This place has some of the best Italian in the Columbus area. I drive over an hour to eat at this establishment. Staff is friendly, lots of seating, and you can eat at the bar. Half priced bottles of wine (under $100) on Sunday plus plenty of selection for drinks.

Went with a group and we had a pretty long wait even though we had a reserved time. Cute place. A little cramped, not a lot of space. The food was delicious. I had the Gnocchi with braised lamb sauce with a Ceasar's side salad. I would recommend it if u go.

AMAZING! Highly highly recommend. People with Celiac - you’re definitely safe here! They take it extremely serious and the gluten free food was amazing. Sam our waiter made me feel so safe and my food was great. Gf bread, chicken parm and pizza was so good. Definitely check this place out!!

We here to celebrate my husband’s birthday. Food and service was phenomenal. Our waiter was friendly, very professional & knowledgeable, and seemed to genuinely enjoy working there. He made sure to ask if we had any allergies and was very attentive. Food was amazing! Initially my husband and ordered our own entrees intending to split both so we could have variety but we both loved what we ordered so just just had a bite of each others because we really enjoyed what we ordered. Highly recommend going here for a celebration or just because!

  • 5/5 Hannah M. 10 months ago on Google
A little pricey for what amount you are served, however, we were stuffed full because the food is so very rich. Thoroughly enjoyed the fresh taste of tomatoes and other produce in our meals. We went out for a very late date night dinner (like 10pm or something crazy like that) and enjoyed the cozy atmosphere and great food. Would happily return!
