I liked trying international food specially when it is owned by a family. We went there as a group of six and ordered different dishes. The staff was so friendly and helpful. The food was delicious wasn’t healthy at all and too oily. Also it tasted so different so before you go there make sure that you like those kind of food.

Located in a brief strip mall between a bakery and a drive thru store. The location offers dine in and take out and closes promptly at 8pm. For dine in orders they are taken at the counter and served to your table. Our server was friendly and helpful with explaining the dishes. The food is cooked to order so patience is a must. The food was served hot and in take out containers. We ordered, jollof rice, warrior, egusi soup, and moi moi. The stews were accompanied by pounded yam and fried rice. The servings are plentiful and more than enough for one person. Each dish was filled with the right amount of spice and heat. You won't be disappointed with the amount of food or taste.

This place is very homey and wonderful! Food is delicious, and people are very very nice. We asked them for recommendations and what they suggested were awesome. We tried kebabs and many main dishes and they’re are very tasty and spicy, not hot though. I would definitely suggest trying this place :)

The food was very good, it’s like a homemade meal which felt very comforting. Plantain was sweet and soft. Chicken and rice were great too, I would definitely go again.

I discovered this fantastic Nigerian restaurant during our first trip to Columbus and always make it a point to get food here whenever we visit from Cincinnati. The food is always delicious, fresh and portions are very generous. Just picked up a catered order for our event and the food was excellent. Well worth the drive! Even my Nigerian mother from Maryland said that everything was delicious and cooked very well. IMO this is the best Nigerian restaurant in the Southern Ohio area. The owner is very nice too!

I have tried food catered by this restaurant at events, and the food is delicious and authentically Nigerian. I am so glad that my husband and I finally had time to go eat here today. Of course, the food was delicious and satisfying. I had iyan (pounded yam) and egusi with chicken and goat meat. The portions were generous. The owner and her staff are very courteous. I recommend this place for Authentic Nigerian food.

I come here every weekend, this is the worst Saturday. I waited for my food for an hour, and the cashier purposely did that, she gave everybody behind me orders to the cook accept for mines I video taped her, Mum will never allow me to wait this long, please do not discriminate against African Americans, we are also Africans please treat us fair when we come to your establishment I’ve never waited an hour for food that was mediocre, it was not good it was not spicy, I want a refund

Not sure the people praising the food from this restaurant if they're paid or knows how to cook. I ordered ogbono and my friend ordered afang(ukazi). I guess the Calabar woman in me knows a good tasteful meal when I taste one. The soup was nasty as hell. The to go fried rice I ordered was a very big disappointment. Dry, crispy, and tasted nasty. Won't visit again. Update after owners reply. This has nothing to do with where I come from ma'am. Fried rice, jellof, ogbono, egusi, etc are all Nigerian food. i visited because I was impressed with the reviews. I go to an African restaurant especially after a long trip. I don't live in ohio. Either I was given an old dry strong crispy fried rice and of course it can be normal not soggy. old ogbono soup . Both food was a big disappointment. Service was fine. Food was horrible. The owner's reply sounds typical of a quarrelsome type. If I could give a zero, I would. Service was not bad. Just horrible food that I ended up throwing away.i paid for it so it's not entitlement . Complete waste of my money. It's not how long you've been a cook, but how well ma'am. It can be better. Thanks.

I cannot get enough of their Pounded Yam FuFu and Egusi Soup. It is absolutely delicious! This was my second try at partaking in West African cuisine, after a not so impressive meal I had a few months back. I’m so glad I gave this place a try. Especially realizing that there are so many different interpretations of these dishes across the continent. Yam Fufu and Egusi Soup: The Fufu comes fresh, hot and the perfect texture for pulling. While the flavor is mild, it’s a wonderful companion to some of the more savory soups/stews. The Egusi Soup has a powerful, spiced and seasoned flavor profile. I did have to adjust to some of the thin fish bones in it - but not out of the ordinary or too unexpected when cooking with dried fish. The flavor it brings is worth the minor inconvenience. I get mine with the 2 chicken drumsticks - which are well cooked and also wonderfully seasoned. I’d like the option to order without a protein on Uber Eats, though. Jollof Rice, Plantains with Beef: The rice was coated and seasoned very well! I enjoyed the spice, flavor and texture of the rice. My beef was a tad tough. I really only wanted to try the rice, but on the Uber Eats app currently requires a protein - so, I’m not taking any points away for it. Plantains were *chef’s kiss*! If you’re like me and want to experience African cuisine from right here in Central Ohio - I highly recommend this place. Also, very good portions for the price.

This was a terrible experience. I saw so many good reviews and wish I could say the same! I called in an order and the woman on the phone was so rude, and entirely unprofessional as if our business was bothering her! On top of our orders being COMPLETELY wrong and COLD! I looked forward to this experience and was sorely disappointed.

African restaurant choices in Columbus Ohio is limited. The food here was ok, did not get the 'wow' factor. This is my personal taste/opinion and I tell you why you shouldn't rely just on my review. Different countries or tribes of Africa cook certain meals differently though they may carry the same name e.g; Jollof rice, pepper soup etc and if you are used to a particular taste you may not like the other.

The Jollof and fried rice were bathed in oil. It looks like they’ve been been cooked and left sitting there for days before serving them to customers. Or I must have gotten leftovers, who knows. The protein(fish/turkey)? Oh, cold and couldn’t eat them. If they can improve yes go there, otherwise it’s my first and would be my last. Don’t go here.

Employees would rather argue with me about whether or not I confirmed the order (after I specified I'd done so 3x and shown that my status is "leaving" 3x as well) instead of just handing me the food so I can deliver the customer their order. Do your job. I don't get paid unless I confirm the order what sense does it even make to argue with me about it? Update; apology accepted. Second update, post-response : I can understand the reasoning for asking drivers to confirm the order. What I couldnt understand was why I was being asked to still confirm the order after I specified that I already did, while showing the employee on the device that the order was confirmed and my status was "Leaving." Technically, according to policy I am not supposed to confirm the order until I receive the order in my hand but I still accommodate restaurants asking me to confirm. The employee then wanted me to also select "Leaving" which goes way beyond the policy for the contractor and persisted to argue that I needed to select "Leaving" as well and asked me why I wouldn't do so after I had already specified on three occasions that the order was already confirmed and my status is "leaving" which I am to select once I am departing from the location..... wasting my time in the process which is money when you are a delivery driver. That was my issue. But she apologized. I accept.

I will not review this restaurant poorly because the quality of the food seemed amazing and the authenticity based on what I've read and seen of Nigerian food was spot on. We tried the fufu stew and the Amala soup to really get a taste of traditional Nigerian dishes. However, the food is not for me and I just didn't like it. The paste-like dumplings have a texture I can't get past and everything smelled heavily like fish/seaweed. The meat was cooked well and the spices and flavors were interesting. Nigerian food is just not for me. I assume the less "adventurous" dishes would be amazing (Jallof, for example).
